About the host
Hosted by Louise Johnson
Angus and I have lived at Riding Farm for 25 years but the Riding Farm has been in Angus family since his Grandfather. We have been doing Bed and Breakfast and holiday accommodation for 10 years as well as farming
Why they chose this property
We decided to develop the barns and cottages as a diversification plan we have for the family farm and its ideal location so near to everything yet set in peaceful countryside, yet so close to all the cities and major attractions in the area. Beamish Museum and Tanfield Railway on our doorstep. Durham Sunderland and Newcastle Gateshead are all within as easy 25 minutes.
What makes this property unique
We love the Riding and have done ever since we moved here in 1989. it is ideal location near enough to be near far enough to be away from everything - you always switch off once you arrive
