Amazing property, location, value, everything!! My partner and I had the absolute best time here and I hope to come back very soon. I would never stay anywhere else in Idyllwild if I had the choice.
Wonderful stay in this cozy and clean cabin. Enjoyed the hot tub. The cabin had plenty of cookware to make our own meals. Very close to hiking trails and town. Easy parking. Beds were comfortable but mattresses were very warm - the host recommended low temperature settings for overnight and we were comfortable sleeping. Might be too warm in the summer. Overall a great experience
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Great location. Quick access to hiking trails. Very clean and well-equipped. Just a neat place all around. Would highly recommend it.
What an absolutely perfect weekend! The cabin is beautiful and with the creek flowing it is everything you could hope for when looking for a relaxing getaway.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin is set in a mixed conifer & deciduous forest just a short drive from the Idyllwild town square., and is well-appointed with a fine kitchen and comfortable beds. We enjoyed sitting on the the front porch and communing with nature. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Storybook Home
Property looked great online, but exterior was dirty, many light fixtures were either improperly wired, flickering lights or missing light blubs, unsafe to walk around after dark. Pots and pans in kitchen were advertised, however they were the non-stick variety with most significantly scratched making them unsafe to use. TV was new and not registered to owner, requiring renter to create an account with Samsung to use TV. Major inconvenience.
We lucked out with a snow weekend. It was magical- the location was great a quiet neighborhood-hot tub was clean and kept hot for us to use the 1st night. The cute little clawfoot tub was a little too short but for kids it would be perfect for sure!! I loved how cozy everything felt I think the couch might need to be updated soon the bed was very comfortable I would have liked to burn wood in the fireplace but can understand about mess and fire risks. The duraflame log just wasn’t quite the same. I didn’t find the microwave until the last day it’s above the oven in the cupboard I’m short so I wouldn’t have been safely able to use it anyway owner was quick to respond to all our questions (only a few) I plan on renting again in the summer or fall with a group of friends to experience all the magic the property has to offer
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this magical cabin over the Easter weekend! We arrived to a surprise of heavy snowfall, which made it even more beautiful. I can’t even describe the landscape of this little hidden gem. The beautiful creek with waterfalls running right behind the house. We spent hours playing in the snow, gazing at the creek, having cozy fires and enjoying the hot tub. The house was clean and comfortable, the location was close to town, but secluded away in a quiet neighborhood. The perfect place to relax, getaway, and get your nature fix. We will definitely be coming back.
A quiet getaway with charm and simplicity.
Only complaint was excess dust all over the place.
Water was HOT and plentiful.
Kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and silverware.
Restful waterfall adjacent to the property. The sound was tranquil
House big enough to share with another couple. Lots of Private Spaces

Beautiful location. Needs cleanliness
Deers playing in the creek, great location.
Dead rat under pillow in bed upon bedtime. Hot tub had a very bad scent, and wasn’t clean. It needed a full cleaning of filter and chemicals (we own a hot tub at home). Contacted owner regarding this and response wasn’t accommodating.

beautiful house, lack of instruction
The house is lovely and comfortable. But they never informed me that we needed to provide our own logs. Since it's a real drive back to town, it's a disappointment not to be able to arrive prepared. Second, there are no instructions or visitor guide, so I never could figure out how to use the hot tub jets. Finally, the property manager never responded to my phone call. So easy, but so sloppy.

Idyllwild trip
The house is located in a beautiful area and has been remodeled. It is next to the river which makes the view from the deck very nice. The deck however was not clean and had spider webs all over. The BBQ grill was dirty. The jacuzzi cover was dusty and had not been cleaned in a long time. Jacuzzi was lick warm and did not work well at all.
Inside, was old but nice. However the living room has low ceiling and not good lighting at all. The bedrooms were nice but mattresses were not comfortable.
There were wet towels and sheets in the dryer. I don’t think the house is worth the nightly cost.
This home and the property was an absolute dream! The grounds were so peaceful and beautifully landscaped, I could have sat on the front porch all day! It was just the peaceful, relaxing getaway that my family needed! The home was also very clean and exceeded my expectations. We will absolutely be back!
If there was water running in the creek, the place would have been heaven. Unfortunately due to drought of 2022, there was no water.
Despite that, the place has beautiful landscape on front & treed on wrap around back deck (owner had irrigation pipes placed). We spend most time in outside large patio, which has dining table & chairs. Inside is not very large, but it is comfy with open connection between areas. Decoration has nice character. Mark was very quick to help us when we locked out ourself. Also, we left a large item there, he was nice enough to put it away for us.
.
We loved the cabin and all that it had to offer. We enjoyed the location and the beauty of the area. Would be back!!
