Beautiful Mountain Home and Wedding Venue

Cozy 5 bedroom , 2600 square foot home nestled in the pines. 5 minute walk to town. Level 1/2 acre lot . Sleeps 8-10. There is an optional detached guest house available(165/night) with a living room with a pull-out , bedroom with queen bed, kitchenette, and a 3/4 bath. The main house has a large kitchen, with all cooking equipment needed for easy cooking . There is a large music room with an 9 foot Baldwin grand, and a family room with a regulation size pool table. The bedrooms have two with twins, and three with queens. Enjoy the cozy fireplaces in both the living room and music room.Outside is a large deck with a gas BBQ.Sleds are available for snow fun.A circular drive affords ample parking. Wi-Fi, streaming ,and cable DVR. Unlimited firewood for comfy evenings.
The Lodge is equipped for special events, including WEDDINGS with quest lists of 50 or less.
Included is a dance floor, PA system etc.

My family and I have stayed at this property multiple times and we absolutely love it. The inside is beautifully decorated with plenty of room to spread out. The outside is very spacious as well. It’s perfect for a large group to enjoy each other’s company. Kitchen is well equipped and also has a couple BBQ’s outside. Very easy to feed a group.Indoor fireplace and pool table are also nice touches.The host is so easy to communicate with and very kind. We will definitely return.

Such a beautiful property! The host was extremely congenial, The kitchen is well supplied. Sitting outside in the beautiful yard was entirely peaceful and relaxing. We will return to this house in the future! Thank you so much!

David's place exceeded our expectations and satisfied ALL members of a picky family where each member has a different taste in "vacation home." I would absolutely stay here again for a special occasion if I were gathering a lot of friends or family. The pictures do not do it justice; the kitchen was very well stocked, the bedrooms comfortable, and the cherry on top was the wonderful collection of books throughout the house.

Have stayed here multiple times. Beautiful home and plenty of room for a large group. Comfortable beds and furniture and a beautiful, newly remodeled kitchen. Owner super responsive and a pleasure to do business with.

Really great home & host!!

David is truly a wonderful host. This was our second year in a row at David’s place. The home is large and gave my family plenty of room to spread out. It’s a comfortable 20 minute walk to town. I highly recommend this place!

Fabulous lodge

Great place! Very comfortable, great communication with host. Plenty of room for our family group of 9. Kitchen was amazing, plenty of cookware and beyond the basic supplies. Probably the best stocked VRBO kitchen ever! Hoping to make this an annual trip!

A Wonderful Home

We had a wonderful time in Idyllwild! The house was spacious with plenty of areas to hang out. The pool table, the piano, so much fun! Amazing kitchen and grill where we cooked all weekend. You’ll feel secluded while still being a short walk from town. Great stay!

Outstanding property

This is our 3rd time staying here. What a fantastic property for a family vacation. David the owner goes above and beyond to insure you have everything you need. Kitchen is fully equipped and lots of room for everyone to spread out. The outside patio is beautiful. We love it!
