We enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room considering it was just us and our dogs. The temp was good and we used the wood stove for effect. It was a little unsettling at first having a big empty lodge over us but we were ok with the space provided and it was comfortable. Please upgrade the coffee pot to make mornings better.
Large kitchen. Well stocked. Nice tub and shower in the master bedroom. Slight odor first time using the tub. Limited seating in living room small couch and one chair for 6 people. Quiet area. Nice porch area. Overall nice stay.

Hi Anita, thank you for your review. The living/dinning room is very small and there no room for additional chairs. That is why we have 9 chairs in the dinning area, so everyone can bring them closer to the sofa and use them. I wish you would have asked. Nicoleta
We had so much fun staying here! The backyard is amazing! We planned to roast s’mores outside but it rained. The kitchen was full stocked and we enjoyed all of our stay! :) The owner/manager is fantastic and very helpful!

Very nice place, very spacious, would love to go back for longer vacation next year. Love the kitchen and all the space. Only draw back is kitchen is not equipped for a lot of cooking. Packing a set of pans would be essential. Phone service is minimal and expected but WiFi was very good considering location. GPS doesn’t work so I recommend a map if your not familiar with area. No complaints, just advice. Highly recommend if your wanting a trip to mountains and spend any time on Buffalo River.
The property is beautiful and was very clean. There is noise if the top of the lodge is rented out. We had an issue with the noise after 11p.m., but it was taken care of immediately. The hot tub was definitely an added bonus and the grounds are beautiful. We would definitely rent again.

Kaley, Thank you for choosing our home for your spring trip. We apologize again for the noise upstairs. I am glad you let us know, so we can address it. We hope to see you again in the future.

The property is beautiful and the accommodations were amazing. The only issue is the fact that you can hear the people in the upper unit walking around. To be fair it is in the property description that we would be able to hear this, but the tenants above us were stomping around all hours of the night. So if you are a light sleeper this could be an issue for you.
Great appliances. Dishes for everyone. Comfortable beds (even the bunk). No flys or mosquitos outside. Incredibly nice staff. Serene. Perfect for late night romantic star gazing. Спасибо!
We arrived on 10/9/21 and the place was gorgeous! Exactly as described, peaceful and tranquil. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Do know that if someone is staying above you, you hear EVERYTHING; especially the 5 kids that were running around upstairs until 11:00 p.m., but we were outside by the fire and it was not that bad. This place gets an A++++ from us and we will be booking again!
We arrived at BRL in the afternoon, after receiving clear and easy-to-follow instructions from our hostess. We were immediately wowed. The view was absolutely breathtaking! We entered the lower level of the lodge, and it far exceeded our expectations. We took day trips from the lodge, and enjoyed the Buffalo River as well as the Yellville Turkey Trot Festival. One day we drove to Eureka Springs. We found the lodge very clean and comfortable, and quite impressive. We met a lovely family who was staying in the upper level, but we were not forced to interact with them as the lodge is large and spread out. My only regret about the entire trip is that we did not have a larger group with us. It is easy to see that the BRL would be a perfect destination for a family reunion, retreat, or friends get-together. It is located remotely, but only a short drive from any amenity you might need. I am sure in a few weeks, the fall colors will provide a stunning view. I cannot recommend the BRL strongly enough. It is an ideal destination for anyone looking for a little R & R.
The property was well taken care of and was located great for day Buffalo river access. A little disappointed that the hot tub is out of commission and wasn’t mentioned as I was looking forward to it, but the jetted tub in the master was phenomenal. Overall very impressed with this rental.
My birthday trip. We always try to go somewhere in Ar. for a couple of days during this time. I was interested in colorful leaves and thought St. Joe would be a good place to visit. We live in The river valley in Ar. They were much prettier in St. Joe and we visited the old ghost town in Rush nearby. Lots of access to the buffalo river too. Comfortable and nice place to stay.
The view was beautiful and the property was clean. That bathroom 😍 is gorgeous! There were even booklets describing local things to do. The owner is also environmentally conscious which I loved! Be aware that there will likely be people staying upstairs. They were quite loud through the night but we didn't mind because we were having a good time as well (we didn't report it to the owner as it didn't bother us so she was not given a chance to address it. You should speak to her if you have any questions about it). Just be aware that it may not be the best option for a quiet, private getaway unless you know you have the place to yourself. I'm sure the owner would be able to work something out. She was very responsive and kind! I would definitely recommend booking.
First vacation with 4 children; our 2 and 2 foster children. Great central location to do the outdoor activities we were wanting to do like fishing, floating the river and hiking. Nice facilities to be able to cook meals and save money with the bigger family.
The property was beautiful and very clean. The property manager Perry and Sabrina were very helpful. They helped us load up the kayaks and gave us recommendations on the best access points for the river.. The owner Nicoletta was easy to get in touch with and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be staying again.
Beautiful. Clean. Friendly. Absolutely loved the property and in the perfect location for a day on the Buffalo National River.
