The Short North Arts District is one of the Midwest’s best kept secrets. There is a huge variety of unique shops, bars and restaurants, and art galleries along High Street and a number of annual events that take place year-round. We have a thorough list of recommendations in the house to local bakeries, cafes, and restaurants.
You will have access to the entire home and fenced backyard. The backyard and parking are shared with the basement apartment.

The minute you open the doors to this home you will immediately feel the openness of the first floor space. It’s not your typical open floor plan. There is something about this house that is relaxing and welcoming while being sleek and luxurious. It is the perfect place to gather.
The living room has comfortable seating for 6+. The smart TV, sans cable service, is set up for your personal streaming accounts. Just across the living room is the kitchen with adjoining breakfast nook. The kitchen is substantial to say the very least. The massive Mascavo granite island seats 7 and the breakfast nook seats 5. All of the things you will need to entertain and prepare a feast are there- a professional side-by-side refrigerator and freezer, cooking tools and small appliances, including Air Fryer, along with some cooking staples such as olive oil, salt, and pepper. We provide a Mr. Coffee machine with Folgers coffee, creamer, teas, and sugar. If you are a serious cook, you will not be disappointed!
Facing the front of the house is a more formal dining area that seats 6. Across from the dining area is a large double queen bedroom. Just around the corner is a full bathroom to service the entire floor, with a 10-foot, standing-only shower.
The second floor is just as spacious as the first but it is quiet and provides the private space you need to recoup your energy. There are 4 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The first bedroom at the front of the house has double queen beds. The bedroom adjacent has a single queen bed with a desk and small seating area. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and a relaxing ensuite with a marble shower and soaker bathtub. There is a small bedroom adjoining the primary bedroom that has a twin bed- perfect for little kiddos. All guests are welcome to use the laundry room located on the 2nd floor.
The outside of the home is equally pleasing. There is a small front porch with seating as well as a large, fenced backyard with patio seating and an outdoor dining area. A grill is provided to make the outdoor space perfect for entertaining.

There is a ton to do on High Street and the up-and-coming N. 4th Street. It's super easy to get around using any GPS mapping.
Local Tip: Columbus meter maids love to give tickets- read the parking street signs in the downtown area and on neighborhood streets!

We are currently not hosting local residents.
There is an additional guest fee per person/night for the 7th guest and up. The guest fee will be calculated on the quote breakdown when entering the correct guest count into the reservation or inquiry. Only registered, paying overnight guests are permitted at the residence. The guest fees allow us to offer the home at cost effective prices to small and large groups (example- a home can sleep 10+ guests but a lower rate allows 2-4 guests to rent it as well).). Please ensure you have the correct guest count and make any changes before the start of your reservation. Refunds for additional guest fees are under the host’s discretion.
There is a basement apartment that shares the backyard and has its own private side entrance. You may see the basement guests in the parking and backyard areas.
Some sound can travel between the main floor and basement. We observe quiet hours from 9PM to 9AM. There is a noise monitor in this home to help keep noise to acceptable levels for all guests and our neighbors. This measures sound decibels only, no recordings or anything of that nature. If there is a noise issue, please feel free to contact us and vice versa, we will contact you. If you perceive noise will be an issue, please consider renting the basement apartment if you have a large group or a home that does not have another unit under the same roof.
We provide starter quantities of essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, dish pods, and laundry pods (typically 2 of each) to help you get started. We also supply shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience, along with coffee, creamer etc.
For longer stays or if you need more during your visit, we kindly ask that you pick up any additional supplies you may need. This helps us keep our rentals affordable and eco-friendly for all guests. Thank you for understanding.
There is no handicap access. There are two steps to enter the front and back porches of the house.
Guests with allergies and related medical issues and/or sensitivities- we cannot 100% guarantee that the vacation rental is free of pet dander, cigarette smoke, air fresheners/cleaning product scents, or any other elements that may trigger a medical problem or sensitivity.
Fireplace is not available for use for insurance purposes.
$129.00 non-refundable Damage Waiver fee is required for all reservations. Damage waiver covers up to $1,500.00 of accidental damage. Damages deemed intentional or by negligence will not be covered by the damage waiver and will be the sole responsibility of the guest. If Ozone machines are needed due to strong odors of any sort, a $500.00 fee will be incurred by the guest.
House guests have parking for 3 vehicles in marked spaces 1-3. Space 0 is reserved for the basement apartment.
