Just a beautiful, serene get away in the early spring. The house is warm, inviting and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked well with nice dishes, glasses and silverware. The bedrooms were spacious and beds comfy. We played cards at the large dining room table all night. The picture window gives a beautiful view of the stunning lake and the adirondack themed screen doors to the main entrance make the whole experience wonderful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space!

We loved our stay. We have stayed there several times in the past and always loved being there. This trip was wonderful yet again. Our first fall visit and we loved it! We absolutely love walking the property and all the views it has to offer. Truly magical place.
The Tuttle House was a perfect size for our weekend stay. We loved the gas fireplace. And the view was incredible--we could see Lake George from every window. Becky and Lisa were very accommodating and were easy to get in touch with any questions. We will definitely be returning.

This home was a very comfortable place to stay with a great location on Lake George. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrises over the lake, and the home was very comfortable and clean.
This by far has not been the first time staying on this beautiful property! Our dogs love it there, “freedom “!The house was so clean. Easy check in. Excellent communication with the owners as always. Close to town but far away from the crowds. Easy parking as well. It’s a piece of heaven n we were surrounded by beauty at every turn! Downfall we had 3 days rain, some light, other days down pour n all day. But that’s the weather!!Thank you for having us as guests on your property!!
What a comfortable and cozy house to stay in for the long weekend in the winter. The fireplace was cozy, we enjoyed cooking our meals in, and we loved exploring the grounds around the house. Such a pretty, quiet and peaceful spot! We would love to come back in the summer and explore the lake more!
We had a wonderful stay at the property! The location was very peaceful and close to town. The home was clean and comfortable. Thank you for being such great hosts!
Absolutely LOVED the house and the property! We stayed for the first weekend of Winter Carnival. It snowed quite a bit and turned the estate into a winter wonderland. I would definitely go back again! And again!
We enjoyed everything, you can't go wrong with this place. The home was well built, super clean and had all the amenities we needed to make our stay easy-breezy like pots & pans, BBQ grill, and all else.
Most of the credit for the quality of our stay goes to Lisa who take care of us from start to finish, special shoutout to her dog Joey who is one of
Beautiful grounds and location. We enjoyed starting our morning’s walking along the shores and wooded paths. Charming interior layout. Great hot shower with excellent water pressure. Surprised to find there was no air conditioning which we didn’t really need until the last day. You are sharing the grounds with two other houses, but we didn’t bump into anyone.
From the minute we arrived our experience was excellent. The Tuttle House is a wonderful place to stay. We would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to Lake George. Looking forward to a return trip.

About the host
Hosted by Becky Lamont
The Halcyon estate is family owned and loved. The property was originally purchased in the mid 1800's . The main house was built in 1890 and is still used by the family seven generations later.
Why they chose this property
The location and lake views from the property are ideal. We are located on a peninsula with a South facing view of Lake George village (perfect viewing for Lake George village fireworks on Thursday nights in the summer); views East an North across the lake to the mountains with great sunrises and moon rises.
What makes this property unique
We are never too crowded, so there is always a place for you to sit in the sun by the lake or be off to a quiet place.
