Lake Hadlock has exceptional water quality and is proudly classified by New York State as Class AA (or Class AA-Special) - the highest possible rating for fresh surface waters. This prestigious designation signifies exceptional water quality, making the lake ideal for swimming.

Lake Hadlock, also known as Hadlock Pond, is about 2.4 miles long and .75 miles wide. It's about 35 to 40 feet deep and has 220 acres of surface area.

The lake allows boating, jet skiing, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, fun and safe lake activities. It provides clean, warm swimming water that feels just great! Enjoy use of our Kayaks & Floaties free of charge. Bring and ware personal flotation devices.

Lake Hadlock is only 12 miles (about 20 min with traffic) away from Lake George and Lake George Village.

Our Lake Hadlock is a nice private and quiet setting directly on lakefront property, beautifully located in the Adirondacks right in Adirondack Park.

The Lake House is Owner run and is our retirement home that we enjoy sharing. We rent to guests who share and appreciate the wonderful experiences offered by the Adirondacks. We ask that you kindly respect our home, Lake Hadlock and this wonderful area.

Please note that we share the floating dock and part of the lower dock (left side) with our good neighbors to the left, next door!

NEW for 2025, a wonderfully remodeled kitchen by AKB-Design from Connecticut!
Completely new appliances, cabinets and stone counter top surfaces with plenty of storage room.

Our 2021 remodeled Main Bedroom #1 and the upstairs bedroom #2 has been enlarged. Bedroom #3 has new carpeting and a Sleep Number bed. New flooring throughout our home and a beautifully built interior local pine wood wall (we built ourselves) holds a 55 inch Vizio Flat Panel TV for your enjoyment.

We've added a 4th Bedroom that is especially great for having one bedroom with separate keys, climate controls and wash sink set apart from the main house so visiting guests can come and go as they please. This bedroom is only accessible from the front porch or road side door. Very quiet and private.

Again, in 2021, we've put in a completely new full upstairs bathroom with tiled shower, new sink vanity and toilet. PLEASE bring your own bed sheets and bath/beach towels as laundry is very limited!

We have made a trip to this area for several years. Each year, different house/different lake. This property was the best we’ve ever stayed at, and the only one we would consider rebooking year after year. Immaculately clean, comfortable, peaceful and with all the conveniences you could ask for.

What a beautiful & peaceful home. Very well kept, nice, clean & well organized. We even just chilled & enjoyed the house for a day. Everyone enjoyed swimming & kayaking in the lake. Great location with a short ride into Lake George and its attractions. Eric was very accommodating & hospitable, even a neighbor was very friendly & gave us helpful advice on where to go in the area. We would definitely go back.

The house was beautiful, spacious and well appointed. Check in was a breeze. We cooked all meals at the house and there was an abundance of kitchen supplies for us to use. The bedrooms were comfortable and the house stayed cool even in the warmer temps (the house has AC units but we didn’t use them. We were fine with just ceiling and circulating fans). The dock/deck was where we spent most of our time, fishing, swimming, kayaking, sun bathing, reading, playing cards, and relaxing. The owner, Eric was super responsive, helpful and even called on day 1 to make sure everything was as expected. To be honest, everything exceeded our expectations. This is the best house on the lake! The lake, itself, is quiet, friendly, and navigable. We can’t wait to return next summer!

A Wonderful Place

Hadlock is an ideal spot for the quiet of the woods and all the benefits of the water. It's near to Lake George and other Adirondack sites without any of the crowds. The house in particular is extremely comfortable and seems to get better every year.

a wonderful place

Hadlock Pond is a perfect location for anyone who wants to enjoy all the Lake George area offers while avoiding the crowds and traffic. And the Ambrosino's house has all the accommodations one could want along with a splendid location on the lake. Quiet, magnificent views, good neighbors, ample activities. A wonderful place!

The house is kept extremely well, and always shows signs of getting better still. The lake and mountains can't be surpassed, but the house keeps good company with them!

Everything we could ask for

Just back from our stay at this beautiful lake house. It is the ideal place for a relaxing vacation; spacious and comfortable, inside and out. Kayaks are in very good condition and we made great use of them! Enjoyed several evenings on the deck and around the firepit. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were very well appointed. So glad we found this place!

Great Getaway

This was our first visit to New York and this area was our second stop. This house did not disappoint! The lake is gorgeous and clean. A hidden gem! I absoultly loved having coffee on the dock and getting in the kayak in the evenings with my kids. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

If you want a dream vacation, and feel like you are in your own home, this is the place to go. The house was great , looking out at the lake while eating breakfast was just so lovely. The decks , and swimming and fishing were so enjoyable with my grandkids we hardly left the house because, so much to do and life on the lake is just incredible , so I highly recommend this home rental. It was worth every penny!

It's nice to get back to this beautiful area! I'm a musician / composer and retired electrical avionics engineer. I'm inspired by the Adirondack area.

Why they chose this property

My family is near our Lake House area. Our neighbors are great people and all love and respect the lake and surrounding areas.

What makes this property unique

The views are just spectacular! You'll even seen a sea plane take off land and on the water from time to time. There are so many activities very close by and in Lake George. The water is clean and warm with a rocky/sandy bottom on our waterfront property.

We're quite close to Lake George, only 12 miles to Lake George Village. You can hear the Lake George fireworks every Thursday evening from our Lake House.
