This cozy Knollwood Beach home has 3 bedroom, plus a LR open up couches that sleep 2 in the family room, 2 full baths - is available for rental (INQUIRE w/email for discounted month or longer rentals).It was completely remodeled 7 years ago and is equipped with a full kitchen and modern appliances. It is a short distance from Fenwick Golf Course and there is a golf cart to use in the area and at the golf course during your stay. It includes AC, W/D, dishwasher, patio, gas grill, exterior wood fire pit, & parking for 4 cars. Neighborhood also has a park which includes a basketball court, tennis court, playground, and baseball field. There is also a town small boat launching area a short distance from the house for kayaks and small boats on the South Cove of the CT River with access to LI Sound. This home is excellent for beach stays and stays involving events at the Saybrook Point Inn, Water's Edge Resort, and the Elks Lodge in Westbrook, CT. It is also within 30 minutes of Yale U, Wesleyan U, the Coast Guard Academy, and Connecticut College. The Katherine Hepburn Cultural Arts center and Fenwick Golf Course are a short distance from the property; it hosts wonderful concerts and programs. There are several local attractions including a seasonal Old Saybrook Mini Golf Course, Essex Steam Train, the Griswold Inn, CT River Museum in Essex, Shopping Malls Westbrook, Clinton, and Waterford. The scenery in the are is spectacular!

This cottage was a great location. Close to beach and restaurants. Very clean and accommodations were great. Loved having the golf cart to ride around in. Would definitely stay there again.

Just what we needed - great communication!

My fiance and I needed a place to stay in the area to support a sick family member and Charles’s place was perfect. We were able to come with our dogs and were a short walk from the beach (just down the street). The house was cozy, enough space with 2 full baths and within our price range and Charles kept in contact assuring we were comfortable. Would stay again! Thanks again to Charles and his family.

Beautiful, comfortable home

Thank you for sharing your lovely home. I loved having so many windows making the living space bright and cheerful. It is beautifully furnished and the kitchen is updated with top quality appliances. Everything we needed was provided and your furniture and beds are extremely comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms with great showers are always a plus for us. We also loved having laundry onsite. The home is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood and the patio out front was private due to the landscaping. We don't frequent this area often, but if we did we would definitely stay again!!!

Property was great for our stay. Revisits to former establishments. Seeing “old/former” friends and family. Culinary delight in and around Old Saybrook. Loved being near the beach. Great 2 weeks for us. Only disadvantage was night stands and bedtime lighting. We are readers in bed! And coffee drinkers in bed!!! But we made arrangements! Thank you, Charles and Carol. Cozy Cottage House

My family and I stayed in this cottage house in Old Saybrook, CT and had a great time. This cute cottage house is one block from the beach. It’s a great place to escape and relax. Owners Charles and Carol Cocores were wonderful at responding to questions or concerns. I would stay here in the future.

We recently stayed at this property in Old Saybrook . Plenty of room for a family of four and close to golf ( golf cart use included) , swimming, walking,the Kate arts center, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Clean with all the amenities! Lovely, peaceful beach home for a family vacation

Charlie and Carol were wonderful to us during our stay. Their beach home is a beautiful oasis located in a family friendly neighborhood within a charming town. Our dinners grilling and enjoying the patio are some of the best nights there. So much to see and do. Easy access to a quiet and peaceful beach. The tennis, basketball, golf and nearby mini golf had our family enjoying every moment. Feeling blessed to have found this gem and to have met Charlie and Carol.
