The large two-tiered deck includes stunning views and over 600 square feet of space to enjoy with your friends and family. There is ample on-site parking and it's 10 minutes to downtown. Perfect for an EAA week, Packer game, Rock USA, Country USA, visiting family at Lawrence University, or just a quiet vacation with friends and family. Book this amazing find Now.
Nearly 3000 sq ft of luxury home. The master suite is its own floor with a large king size bed with a remote controlled adjustable bed frame for the ultimate in comfort. The large master bathroom has a shower, jetted tub, a private commode area, dual sinks, and a large panorama of mirrors and lighting.
The lower level has 3 bedrooms(queen, queen, full sized beds), a bathroom, and a small family room.
The main level is the kitchen, dining room, and living room for your relaxation and entertaining. The kitchen is equipped with high quality knives, pans, spices, and plenty of dishes, glasses, and silver ware for a large dinner if you so choose.
The home is setup ideally for 4 adult couples with 4 beds total(or an adult couple with 3-6 children if they are OK sharing larger beds). There is also a pull out bed in the lower level family room. The large sectional in the living room is extremely comfortable and can sleep two additional guests with no problems. There is also a queen sized air mattress that is probably ok for short stays and decently comfortable as well for a total maximum occupancy overnight of 14(or 15 if someone wants the smaller couch in third bedroom also).
The Deck has an amazing view of Lake Winnebago. Our beautiful home is just a few hundred yards from the lake itself and there is a wonderful swimming/boat launch area just a quarter of a mile(walking distance) from our home as well. We supply a propane grill and propane fire table with furniture on our amazing deck. There is also a traditional, albeit small, fire pit in the back yard. Be prepared to supply wood or propane if you are visiting. Many times there is propane or wood from previous guests, but we cannot guarantee there will be some left. Propane exchanges are within about 3 miles and are around 20 bucks.
Enjoy your stay, enjoy the views, and enjoy the privacy. We look forward to hosting you, your family and/or your friends in our beautiful home.
(The back yard is in transition. We are in the process of updating the landscaping. There are still large areas of lawn for now, but this could change depending on speed of progress.)

We enjoyed our stay here for a family reunion. House was very clean and main living room/kitchen area was very nice and comfortable for all of us to hang out.
We had a great time at this property. It was spacious, well designed for entertaining, and in a nice location. There was easy communication with the owner, who supplied us with lots of food to get our week started. We would love to return and stay again :)

First of all the photos do not represent the house accurately at all, and that is a great thing. This house is way better than the pictures represent. House is nicely furnished and the kitchen has many amenities. Walmart and local stores are a 15 min drive but there is a gas station within 5 mins away. about 5/5 would stay again.

Thank you for the kind words.

Experience was great for our family vacation. We here for a Packer Game and was not too far from Green Bay. We were able to accommodate everyone and the kids had their own space. Quiet neighborhood and still close to the grocery store. Great stay!

Wedding
Property nice with everything you need. Lovely deck and fire pit. Did not use propane fire. Master king bed is on raised platform so unless you're tall you need stool to climb into bed. Bring your own. No problem in lower level bedrooms. We all had a good time
This property was as advertised and perfect for a group of friends. Close to restaurants, golf courses, Green Bay, etc. Rick was easy to work with and was always quick on his communication.
House was perfect for our group. We were supposed to have 4 couples but had a cancellation due a COVID scare. We had ample space for our party of 6, everyone was able to get cozy on the giant couch in the living room and watch movies together. Dining table was perfect for game nights and we really enjoyed the backyard, played bags and relaxed around the gas fire pit on the deck. We could see the lake peeking through the trees, it was a 5-10 minute walk to get to a nearby boat launch and see the water. The close proximity to High Cliff State Park was a major perk. All in all, great family weekend away. Thanks!

Rehearsal Dinner Getaway
Our son got married at High Cliff Golf Course and we were looking for a house and yard that was large enough to handle the Rehearsal Dinner. The house was large enough as was the yard and deck. However the house was very dirty on the outside with lots of cobwebs all over most of the windows and there was an opening in the railing & dangerous holes in the deck that we ended up having to block off because of the young children who attended. We played games in the yard until the bugs came out and multiple bare foot people got slivers from the rough deck surface. All in all we made the house work but I would not rent it again nor recommend it to others. The owner was very apologetic and responsive when he was told that the house was dirty on arrival and offered a partial refund. The dishes in the dishwasher were dirty, the refrigerator and sink were full of pieces of food and the coffee maker still had used grounds in it. The towels and sheets were in the washer and dryer as well. We cleaned and folded towels etc. It was not a great experience. This house has not been taken care either inside or outside. By the deck the weeds were 6 feet all and there was ragweed everywhere. Not great. We expected mosquitos but holy cow, almost impossible to enjoy any outdoor time. The propane fire pit was nice as was the wood fire pit in the yard. Inside there were doors that did not latch (master bedroom hallway) that would have been nice to be able to close since it's right off the kitchen. Like I said, we made it work but would not recommend until things are cleaned up and perhaps a proper house inventory is completed.

We are human and mistakes unfortunately happen. There is no excuse for the cleanliness issues. We have since changed our cleaning team and upgraded instructions and procedures. As far as the weeds go, we let part of our back yard go "natural" as we love the flowers, bees, fireflies, butterflies, etc... and the natural look. The yard is quite large and usable regardless of the sections we let grow naturally. The bugs and "cobwebs" are mostly a product of the environment as well. There is a large cottonwood tree in the yard and we live near a lake plus it had rained probably 7 out of the previous 10 or 12 days prior to their arrival. A door that was difficult to latch is simply a maintenance issue. Someone rough handling the door so the hinges got out of alignment or something like that. It was certainly not Juli or her group who caused this, but we can't fix what we don't know is broken. The holes in the deck were noticed a few weeks ago and we have scheduled repairs. The deck is certainly in need of some paint. We have had hundreds of guests in the last few years and had not heard of anyone getting slivers before. It's a wood deck that is certainly not brand new, but other than the few about 6" holes near the edge it is in decent shape and we are working on making it better.
Cleanliness, and basic maintenance are things we certainly have control of and will do our best to remedy, bugs and cottonwood fluff that can cover our deck railings, doors, windows, and air conditioner are just nature unfortunately. The weeds are there on purpose, so if you have extreme allergies, perhaps another home would be better for you. We have had an excellent reputation for the past 3 years and unfortunately things happen where we can improve upon and we will do our best. It's a beautiful home and a wonderful place for family gatherings and stays to visit family or friends. Rest assured we are always trying to make things better for future guests and will continue to do so in the future. Thank you for the constructive feed back Juli and we wish you well.
I would add that while the goldenrod is plentiful, it is not ragweed and is very low on the allergy response curve. I've added photos of our current back yard and also shows the deck.

House did well for our family of 10.
House size/bedding good for our family. Although you can walk to the lakefront there is no swimming area. House was clean and well equipted. Maintance and up keep are in need of improvement.
We chose this property due to its proximity to the water, downtown Appleton, golf courses and the Wolf River. Much needed golf trip with my Father, brother, and a few friends. Honestly everything was excellent. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable. The check in process was easy and Richard was very easy to communicate with. The area itself had alot to offer. You got the feeling you were removed from the city but you still have access to everything you need. 5 stars!
Large house house with plenty of space. Tons of beds and even couches for everyone. Our favorite part was the backyard with a huge deck and lovely fire pit. Only issue was the beach was a bit far, but it was only a short drive. Highly recommend staying here for a large group or family getaway!
Very spacious! The back deck is the standout of this home. The weather was perfect and allowed us to enjoy it.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay in our beautiful home. You certainly got a bit lucky with the weather for November in Wisconsin that weekend...heh.

Our family loved our stay at this home near the water. We had plenty of room throughout the house for our family of 3 adults and 3 children. We hosted a few people on the patio Thursday night and it was absolutely perfect. The back patio has a beautiful view at night. We started the fire place on the patio and listened to the waves. The view is so beautiful we even got some wedding pictures on the patio as we used the house for my daughter to change into her wedding dress before her ceremony. This home was exactly what we needed for our weekend and we are so grateful.

I just love to travel and enjoy life. The retirement plan is to buy a sailboat and travel the world.
Why they chose this property
We love the view and enjoy the area. It's quite simple really. It's an amazing property at a budget that we wouldn't get if we lived directly on the lake.
What makes this property unique
The stunning view and quiet privacy of sitting on the deck at night just can't be beat. Listen to the waves come in while relaxing with family and friends.
