This was a very nice unit in a great location. It's just a very short walk to the Explorer gondola (nothing is really ski in/out given the way the base is set up). The unit itself was in very good shape - a few things I could nit pick, but perfectly comfortable and more than adequate for my group of five dudes in their 40s.
If I didn’t have a broken ankle this location is ski in/ ski out.

Location was great. It was a short walk to put skis on and get on lift. It was even easier skiing back to condo. Very spacious place fitting 7 of us comfortably.

Badly in need of an update! Guests services not very responsive despite an unusable coffee pot.
This condo was home base for our annual "guys' trip." It was perfect. We loved how spacious the condo was. With more snow on the ground it is "ski in, ski out"... but even in the less-than-ideal season we're having so far it is a "very short walk in, very short walk out." Lots of storage, including one-car garage that is warm enough for gear.

Best large condo for Big Sky!
So close to the Explorer II lift, convenient, clean, and spacious! Cozy furniture, fireplace with tons of provided firewood. Honestly can’t complain about anything. Cooking pots and pans are what you would expect from any ski rental, maybe add a couple more stainless steel options. But honestly, I’d stay here again in a heart beat.
Great location to the slopes and events! Also a well laid out condo design. Able to separate and not hear because of the spread out bedrooms and bathrooms. Extras with the garage, hot tub and fireplace added to the enjoyment, comfort, and relaxation. A few kitchen supplies need to be replaced. We left a note. Beaverhead helped make a fantastic Big Sky vacation.

Great location for ski trip for 7
Great location, short walk to slopes and shops. Plenty of room to spread out to relax. Only thing wrong was no wifi for the week. Network didn't show up as a choice and management did not resolve this during our stay. Luckily had hot spots(or or own data) and there for skiing anyways so not an issue for us.
Otherwise would definitely recommend this condo.

Hi Pamela, thank you for sharing your positive feedback during your stay. We are happy to know that the location serves you well. We take guest feedback seriously and have forwarded this information about the WiFi issue to the local staff so they can review and update the home as needed for future guests. Thank you for your stay, and we hope to welcome you back soon.
The place was in a good location and walkable to slopes and village. The place itself was very average. All the fixings are very simple and quite old. The place is noisy with all the radiators, showers and old fixings. Garage door opener hanging off the wall, sinks missing parts and nothing very up to date. A very good place for location but not one of the nicer places in terms of the interior.
Despite not having as much snow as prior years, we managed to still ski and have fun. Been to the same condo area for 4 years. Convenient and ideal for families. The only thing we missed from prior visits was a crock pot and bunk beds for the kids...but we were pleased with the games in the condo. Every puzzle had 1 piece missing, but that is life. The TV was a no go, but we were not upset because family time ruled the day.

Great location
The listing calls this a ski in/ski out property. It’s not but after reading other reviews I was prepared for the short walk which was totally fine and doable. Despite other campfires the lodge sponsored, the unit claimed an overall fire ban in the region and disallowed fires. The lie about the ban was frustrating. The grill and some pots and pans were dirty on arrival and the washing machine broke while running a small load of laundry. Overall the place was fine. The location was amazing but the owners need to upgrade the appliances, cookware, and faucets.

Spacious and comfortable ski off condo
We have three adult children and we all love to ski. This Beaverhead unit is down the hill a bit so it's very easy to ski off to the unit but you will have to do a little hike in the morning to get to the bottom of White Wing and then some traversing to reach Swift Current. When the new Gondola replaces Explorer, this unit will be a breeze to get high up on Lone Peak. The kitchen is well stocked and configured. The bathrooms and bedrooms are comfortable. The in-unit hot tub is a lot of fun and restorative after a day of skiing. Big Sky doesn't disappoint with skiable variety and open spaces - even in a year with little early season snow. The garage is large - our oversized Expedition fit with a basket on the tow hitch and skis on the roof. It was excellent - easily can sleep 8 in bedrooms. We even had 9 for dinner and it was comfortable!
Overall the property was a good fit for our group. We particularly appreciated the fact that 2 bedrooms were equipped with 2 separate beds (not bunks). This is important to a group of single adults, not couples. But it is very rare in VRBO properties which have one king or one queen bed in most bedrooms, with a bunk for kids in the remaining bedroom. And we liked the ski-in ski-out location.
Our only criticism is the cookware in the kitchen. It was a sparse eclectic collection pots, pans and utensils in poor condition (think yard sale). And many essential items were not provided, such as a decent spatula and a 9x13" baking dish (essential for making casseroles etc.) We found it necessary to purchase overpriced aluminum disposable pans in order to cook our planned meals. With the price charged for the condo rental, we expected decent cookware.
Condo was perfect for our two families (4 adults, 3 teens). Plenty of space, very clean. Kids loved the hot tub. Great location too (5 walk to Village; a little bit of an uphill walk to slopes with easy ski in). Had a great time.
Very good location - 2 minute walk to access skiing and 5 to 7 minute walk to the base area. Very nice living space for a group.

201 great location, needs better management of details
Positives; views, ski in ski out, hot tub but TV requires a amazon subscription, Why?... for price, the condo owner or management should provide cable and I left note for cleaners on master bath & toilet were not real clean.

We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your getaway, Barry! We apologize for the items that were amiss on your visit, but your feedback has been useful in helping us work with local management to address them. Please know that cable is not available, but there is a Firestick for streaming shows. It seems there was an issue with the set up during your stay, but it has since been corrected. We appreciate you bringing some issues in the bathroom to our attention as well. We are happy to report that it has since been re-caulked and cleaned. Thank you and we hope to host you again for a more comfortable stay!

Great unit
The location is great. The spaces were marvelous! The common area was huge and we loved the window seats with terrific views. The owners fee were unusually high, higher than other properties. (especially since you don't restock toilet paper or kleenex)
however, the unit was great
