Freshly completed in 2019, this one bedroom garden-level suite is in the heart of Kitsilano - one of the most central and fun neighbourhoods in Vancouver.
This suite is located approximately four steps down from a tranquil, sun-drenched garden with waterfall, ponds and patio. Ceilings are a clear eight-feet throughout the suite. The bedroom boasts a luxurious pillow-top king size mattress and walk-in closet. Living room includes a queen size pull-out sofa, cozy electric fireplace and 50" Smart TV. Kitchen is well equipped with all new appliances, dishes, basic pantry supplies and everything you will need for your stay. Bathroom includes full size tub and all new fixtures. The kitchen, bath and entry have underfloor heating and the suite has its own independent heat controls. There is a private clothes washer and dryer. The yard boasts a lovely outdoor living space where, in nice weather, you can enjoy a morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. Public transit is only one block away and there are easy connections to the airport, downtown and all the key Vancouver destinations.

We really enjoyed our stay. The space was immaculately clean and well appointed. The location was close to everything we needed. Neil and Heidi where very responsive and friendly hosts.
Such a lovely place to stay, soooo clean, cozy and a comfortable bed. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed. The yard is also lovely with a beautiful waterfall.The host was so responsive and accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay. It was a quiet location and only a short walk to the main boulevard for buses and shopping. The rental has all the necessities of home and even things we didn't think of but we needed. We highly recommend!

My wife Heidi and I, and our two university age children, love spending time outdoors (skiing, canoeing, hiking, kayaking and surfing) and traveling. Our main base is in Vancouver but we also spend time with our family in Victoria and at our home on Mayne Island. We have a number of long term rental properties and two furnished VRBO rentals in Victoria, one in Whistler and this one in Vancouver. We are members in good standing with Landlord BC and enjoy taking exceptional care of our tenants and our rental properties.
Why they chose this property
We purchased this property in 1993 and undertook a big renovation to it in 2003. We renovated it again in 2018, including taking the suite down to the studs.
What makes this property unique
We absolutely love this house and location. It is a quiet street, yet walking distance to all amenities. We enjoy running to the beach and the local parks. The proximity to public transit and downtown is the icing on the cake. We have created an oasis in the backyard that creates a perfect spot for unwinding.
