Blackberry house is centrally located in the heart of Kitsilano neighborhood, Vancouver. Beaches, parks, UBC, broadway shopping and downtown are all easily accessible by either a short walk or public transit.
Blackberry house is a 2 bedroom 800 sq. ft suite created by designer Douglas Nickel. It features a modern custom kitchen, spacious dining living area that is fully furnished with custom furniture. There are two bedrooms, one of which can also be a study. Five windows face west giving lots of natural light. Flatscreen TV, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and many small appliances as well as wireless internet are included so you can relax and make yourself at home.

This was the perfect location for getting our daughter settled at UBC. We were 15 minutes from campus, and 20-30 minutes from the airport, shopping, downtown...anywhere we needed to be. The unit is perfect for a small family, plenty of living, eating and sleeping space. It's in a lovely neighborhood for walks with easy street parking. Best of all are the kind and hospitable hosts. We had a lovely stay and hope to be back.

Beautiful Private Townhouse

Doug and Delores were very kind and helpful to us throughout our stay. The basement suite itself was beautiful. We were able to explore Vancouver and have a comfortable and private suite to return to each night. We were fortunate that their property was available and look forward to potentially returning in the future!

The beds were comfy, the den area was great for relaxing after a day of activities, and the location made it easy to get around using only public transit. The Optimal Home Away From Home

A comfortable lodging within the neighbourhood of small shops, our welcoming hosts provided a fully equipped place to stay. This is just an exceptional place. Everything about it is just extremely well done. It is very bright and well laid out. Quiet and has all of the amenities in the listing as well as a full kitchen. This is without question the best short term rental that we have ever used.

Perfect Hosts and Location

My husband and I stayed for 10 nights while our son played in a hockey tournament at UBC. I can’t say enough positive things about the property. Douglas and Delores are ideal hosts and there were a lot of special touches and conveniences. We both worked during our time there and it was roomy, comfortable and had strong internet. It was also a great location, walkable to many shops, restaurants, and public transportation. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.
