MidCentury Modern Beach Home

This is a beautiful, light-filled midcentury modern home that you will love staying in. It is 1.5 blocks to the beach and close walking distance to the downtown Village. Built in 1960 but modern and updated, it has classic vintage essence but feels clean, light, airy and filled with natural light. On one side you have a private garden with a fire pit and water fountain. And on the other side you have the Pacific Ocean, so you will feel surrounded by nature.

This 2 story home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large open living room, dining area, full kitchen + kitchenette downstairs, private/quiet garden with BBQ, water fountain and fire pit, ocean view patio facing the sunset, and 2 car garage. It's spacious for 6 people and the perfect place to cozy up to the fireplace, watch the sunset over the ocean with a glass of wine, warm your feet outside with the fire pit, read a book quietly in the garden, or walk to the nearest beach to sunbath or surf. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby to have a nice dinner, fresh fish taco, or grocery store to cook at home.

The location can't be beat - within minutes you can walk to Laguna's best beaches, coffee shops, shopping, and downtown. You can leave your car in the garage and not use it your entire stay!

We had a fantastic stay here over Christmas and absolutely loved it. The views are beautiful and the home itself is really cool, comfortable, and a great place to relax and spend time together. It felt like a special spot for the holidays.The host was wonderful to work with. Communication was clear, prompt, and very accommodating, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Laguna Beach Oasis

We recently stayed in this beautiful home & enjoyed our stay tremendously. The layout of the home maximizes light & ocean views. Walking distance to several beaches including the main beach & lots of eateries. Driving distance to the most coveted beaches. Most importantly, the owner was available & super responsive whenever we needed her. Would love to stay there again.

Overall, the view from the house is outstanding, and the location is within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops and beaches that you would need or desire.With that being said, I would state that the overall cleanliness was not what I would expect for the amount of money that we paid the furniture in both the living area and on the patio was stained and the patio furniture actually had food stuck to it that we cleaned up and threw away. The grill on the patio was completely disgusting old food ,utensils next that were used the entire outside of the grill was gross. The fire pit was unusable and the overall back patio. I feel needed to be spruced up a bit or the Landscaping cleaned up. With that being said, the owner did come over offered to clean the grill and did agreed that yes the furniture should be cleaned although that should’ve been done before we got there and she did offer us a full refund if we left I believe that day, of course we had nowhere to go in such short notice so we ended up taking sheets from their linen closet and putting them on both the living room, couch and the outdoor furniture.Again, I would like to note that the home is in a perfect location with much to offer and overall it is a beautiful home. I just felt it should’ve been cleaner than what we found.In addition, when speaking to the host, what she noted how much the furniture or a particular rug cost which has no bearing to me and not necessary to state.
