Overlooking beautiful Lake Michigan, this home sits on a high bluff with no direct access to the lake. There is however, a beautiful sandy beach 1 mile north on Lakeshore Dr.

Watch gorgeous sunrise, sunset views from the 2nd and 3rd floor levels. Dine-in (kitchen is furnished with everything you need) or dine out at Ludington’s many fine restaurants and pubs.

Each floor features a full bathroom. The first level has 1 bedroom, 1 bath and a large reclining sectional sofa for a relaxing movie night! The second floor has large open concept living, dining, kitchen, and bath for great entertaining. The 3rd floor has 3 generous bedrooms with spacious closets and 1 bath.

Other amenities include central air, free WiFi, DVD player, 2 TVs, and laundry facilities.
Relax on the deck under the patio table umbrella and listen to the waves roll in.

Fun Six Days

We--two grandparents, 4 parents, and 6 grandchildren under age 10 -- enjoyed a six-day stay in mid-July. The view from the bluff may be the best we have seen on Lake Michigan. We enjoyed the nearby beaches and dunes, but hours spent leisurely reading on the bluff overlooking the lake were equally memorable. Heather had provided all we needed to prepare our own meals and cap off the day with a fire in the fire pit and spectacular sunset over the lake. There was plenty of room for the twelve of us and we unanimously hope to return next year.

Ludington Lake House

We had a really nice stay. The listing is very accurate and the mid level floor is an absolute delight with the open floor plan and very large windows. The lighting is really remarkable and views are very peaceful.

Perfect for our family

The owner was helpful and responsive throughout the process. The house was just as pictured, well supplied, and two of the upstairs bedrooms have outstanding views of the lake. We loved the outdoor space as well and made use of the long, paved driveway for kids' scooters and rollerblades. Saw lots of deer, too. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, peaceful, well equipped

This home exceeded our expectations. It is bright and airy. Having three floors, we didn’t feel at all crowded with six adults and five children/teens. The kitchen is huge and well stocked. There is a bountiful supply of bathroom towels and places to hang them. The view is magnificent, especially the sunsets. The location is very quiet, with a large yard for lawn games. Although direct beach access is not possible at this time, the beach just a mile away is not crowded and we enjoyed visiting every day. The owner is very easy to communicate with, very accessible. We all left wishing we could stay longer.

Spacious, clean and beautiful views

Our family had an amazing time visiting ludington. This home was very spacious, well stocked, and had everything we needed. There was so much room for us to gather and be together. But just as equal space for my 4 teenagers to retreat and have their own time to regroup. Wonderful views of Lake Michigan sunsets. Also a very close drive to a local beach that was not overly touristy. Wonderful visit and we would definitely stay here again some time.

An incredible vacation

This rental was absolutely incredible. The host was very responsive and forthcoming with information. Any questions that I had, she answered quickly. The location was relatively easy to find and the view of Lake Michigan was fantastic. The place was very clean, very well furnished, and tastefully decorated. It easily supported our entire group of 11 and had room that could have allowed for more people. The multiple levels allow for multiple groups to do different things indoors while also providing places that you could go and have some time to yourself. If we looking for anything around the house, we could find it: dishes, cooking pans, towels, etc. It was already there for us. The exit instructions were simple to complete and we were able to quickly accomplish it on our way out. We're definitely considering renting this place again.

Great vacation spot!

Great spaces for lots of people in this house! Kitchen is amazing....huge with counters, a large table, fully stocked cabinets and amazing labels on everything! Sunsets are truly breathtaking off the back as you look out over Lake Michigan! Keep in mind that the kitchen is up a flight of stairs and 3 bedrooms are up 2 flights of stairs. Load up the kids and get them to help you unload! Thanks for a great stay!

Lovely Lake House

This is a beautiful, well-stocked property with stunning views of the lake. A short ride to the beach and pier (also a hearty morning walk) and a quick ride to town. Best pizza in the world: Chuckwagon. Best fried perch in the world: Borrelli's, well worth the wait. Highly recommend this property for family gatherings.

Great place.!

Really enjoyed staying at this lake house. It was nice because of the whole Covid situation we were able to be all in one place where the kids had a yard to play in and we could BBQ and visit. The tri level is nice because we have two special need boys and when they needed space they went down on the first level where they could be alone and chill. Deer on the property every day day and night. We hope to be able to do it again next year!

Beautiful and Clean

This property is beautiful, clean, appropriately stocked - just how we remember it from our stay 5 years ago. You have views of the lighthouses when sitting near the cliff and can watch the Badger coming and going, and if the wind is right, you can hear his horn.

The good, the bad, and the disappointing

Good: The layout of the house is fantastic for vacationing families. Lots of beds, with decent mattresses and access to bathrooms. The kitchen is open and inviting. Games and puzzles available and in good shape. Bad: Towels we’re old and ragged. Towels should be replaced, each bathroom should have its own color towels making it easy to redistribute them to the correct bathroom, kitchen is not supplied properly, the house has a max of 14 and therefore should have at least one complete set of pans with a few extras, cooking for a crowd was not easy with limited pans, need chairs to seat the max number of people, folding chairs would be fine. Coffee maker was troublesome, should be replaced with a self cleaning model when water is so hard. Washer and dryer are not very appealing. Replace with a front loader and you will save your septic system! Basic is OK but cycles that don’t work and a dryer that looks dirty is not. Kitchen needs more towels. Shower heads are clogged due to hard water which affected the flow of water (or you have a water pressure problem. Replace with WaterPic detachable heads so they can be cleaned easily. Disappointing: this property is listed as waterfront and charges accordingly. Since there is no direct access to the beach the price should be adjusted. I understand the dunes are off limits because the water levels etc but to charge for waterfront when all one gets is water view is inexcusable. The price per night is for premium location and premium amenities this property has potential but needs many improvements to reach it’s potential. As it is, I would not rent this property again because the price is exorbitant in comparison to properties with real beach access.

A view to remember

This house sits on Lake Michigan with an incredible 180-degree view of the water and the sunsets. Deer, wild turkeys, eagles and otter wander by each morning and evening. It's wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Inside, a perfectly stocked kitchen and four comfortable bedrooms handle a crowd. The back porch is perfect for reading, napping and soaking up the sun. It was one of the best family vacations we've enjoyed.

Amazing property

This is an amazing home and piece of property! Very close to lots of things to do and part of our favorite part of Michigan! Lots of room for everybody and we will return!
