Executive Home close to WEM < down town

A Little History:
The City of Edmonton was named after my husband's great, great, great Grandfather John Pruden's hometown of Edmonton, England. The initial inhabitants of the area were indigenous groups and around 1795 the first Europeans established a permanent fur trading post called Fort Edmonton The original fort was located where our current Provincial Legislature building is. There is a replica of the fort just south of Executive Edmonton in the river valley. Alberta became a province in 1905 and Edmonton its capital city. February 13, 1947, saw Alberta's first major oil discovery just south of Edmonton. The oil industry is a major contributor to the economy of Edmonton with agriculture another leading industry of the area. Edmonton is the most northerly major city in the world. The friendly Edmontonians are known for their community spirit, as displayed by their volunteerism and involvement in the many festivals and attractions unique to our city. Of course, Edmonton is also known for one of the world's largest indoor malls which are located a short distance from Executive Edmonton. You will find Executive Edmonton ideally located in Edmonton's west end only minutes away from downtown, universities, airport, and hospitals.

A very cozy welcoming house in the middle of Edmonton winter. Close to the West Ed mall, and had all the kitchen amenities needed to make our own meals. Three upstairs bedrooms were well equipped with extra blankets and fans.

Edmonton weekend

This place is great. Very clean and has everything you need. My family stayed here for a weekend to attend a wedding. Location was awesome. Steps away from the grocery store etc. And a short drive to west Edmonton mall and downtown. We had a small hiccup checking in as the lock was not working. Cathy was available immediately and had her husband come and drop off a key. All in all - a great stay !

The house suited our purposes very well. One point for improvement: I found the mattress in the bedroom next to the bathroom very soft. I ended up sleeping on the sofa in the living room instead.
