We wanted to book a quick trip to the beach this summer, and this property was perfect for us. Only 1 of our children was able to go, so the 2 bedroom was perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evening, we had a great time!

Quick Family Beach Trip

We booked our stay here just three days out for one last beach trip before school started. The unit was a good fit for our family (2 adults, three kids). The beds were not overly comfortable and the carpet in the unit was worn. Overall the unit was well appointed. Bring all kitchen/pantry items as there were none available. We enjoyed easy access to the beach, the shaded pool And the extra amenities (hot tub, sauna and game room)!

Great Location!

We loved being steps away from the beach. It makes packing things down for a family beach day so much easier! The condo was perfect. Very clean, had everything we needed. If you’re going to be there more than a few days bring a package of toilet paper though. Otherwise you’ll run out.

The condo was nice, I personally wouldn’t have put carpet in bedrooms due to sand. Nice view of the ocean. Spacious bathrooms and arrangements. Right on beach so didn’t have to walk far to get to beach just down to the parking lot.

Very nice condo in the middle of Gulf Shores

We had a great time at Crystal Shores West. We didn’t have the grands with us this time, but they would have had a great time as well in this location. Gulf Shores doesn’t disappoint no matter where you stay. I would recommend this condo to my friends and other family members. Clean, accommodating, right on the beach and close to everything you might want to do. My only negative is that the beds need upgrading and it also needs extra blankets for each bedroom. We will stay here again.

Very nice place to stay BUT the beds were horrible. No one got a goodnight sleep in either bed. Even considered the sleeper sofa looking for something more comfortable.

Perfect Get-away

Description was accurate, entire process was completed by email and was extremely simple, and location was perfect. Beach was perfect, water was 85 and very clear. Elevator could take a while sometimes but it seemed like a common issue with all the condos in the area, wasn't that bad most of time. Right on the beach.

Nice place

The place was clean and smelled clean when we got there. Only bad thing were the matresses on both beds. They were horribly worn out and need to be replaced. Like sleeping in a hole. The less bad things were the pots/pans/skillets. Not in good shape and warped on the bottom. Bring your own kitchen supplies unless you just eat sandwiches. But we would stay here again, hopefully on new mattresses.

Awesome stay

The condo was very nice and the view was amazing. Took me a couple days to get used to the height getting off the elevator it’s really like 15 stories high. Very clean and has a coffee maker and a blender. Would definitely recommend this unit. Cons…beds are ok definitely could be better and the fold out couch is useless. It’s like laying on bars. The building is outdated as far as stuff to do. Gym was terrible if you actually need to lift weights at all. But the pool table and fuzzball table were old school kind of fun for the kids. Quite spot perfect beach and central to everything. Five stars worthy.

Elevator Warning!!!

Location was good and condo nice but to say there may be an elevator delay was putting it mildly as the one ‘working’ elevator went out at least once a day - when staying on 12th floor that’s really not an option - made condo access impossible for a quick run to the room for snack or break. Just never knowing when we might be stuck or trying to take luggage and beach gear and coolers up or down so many flights was pretty frustrating.

Great, well stocked, clean condo right on the beach

The Condo was great! It was well stocked with great pans for cooking (which is rare in rentals). Great view from the balcony and right on the beach. It was comfortable and very clean. A few items out of the condo owner's control that could be improved on but not a show stopper and wouldn't prevent me from staying there again: * The pool and jacuzzi have a lot of wear and tear damage * The sauna was not working * 2 pool tables squished in a room and makes it hard to play without your stick hitting the wall or other players *Elevator waits and no air circulation in them. For that size building, they really need additional elevators *Jellyfish and Manowar - lots of stings the week we were there. For folks staying in the area, I recommend proactively bringing gel purchased at Walgreens for stings. It took away the pain almost immediately Overall a great, relaxing vacation on a clean, nice beach!

Gulf Shores Spring Break 2021

Property conveniently located within 5-10 minute drive of everything you might need if staying in Gulf Shores for a week+ Appreciated the Condo is right on the beach! You can park, go to the condo, cook breakfast, lunch, or dinner and then travel back and forth to the condo. The condo, itself, is showing signs of wear and tear. Bed frames are worn and most of the pots and pans showed wear and tear. There were multiple pillows under the master bed that were dirty, had burns on them or stains - in reality, they needed to be taken out or thrown away. A huge issue was the elevator. There are two elevators on the property; however, only one of them worked. Many visitors said they had discussed the issue with the property manager and it was a "known" issue and a known issue for many months. It was very inconvient. There are 14 floors with only one elevator working is 100% uncalled for, specifically during Spring Break.
