We had a wonderful retreat in this unique home. It was clean, well stocked, and communication with the owner was top notch. The view is amazing! One thing of which to be aware: the bathtubs upstairs are sunken and do NOT have any type of grab bars for exiting. This was a bit of an issue for our group as we are all a bit older. Overall, it is an interesting place to stay!

The view from the back of the property & deck is stunning!!The kitchen is very well equipped with everything we required for preparing our breakfast and dinner.It was a wonderful space for our crew... very happy!!!

The house is a really strange layout and needs some repairs. There had been some extensive rain and thus a moisture issue. It did meet our needs for allowing us to get family together in one place.

We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful, quiet home. It was large enough to accommodate our group and having the extra bathrooms helped make things smooth. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. The host was kind enough to bring us a coffee grinder when the one that was listed must have gone home with someone else. We would recommend this home for large families and made lots of memories here.

Temperature control between rooms was a bit difficult due to the size of the home. The home was impressively fully stocked with all necessities. The host was prompt with any questions or concerns we had during our stay. The home is conveniently located to area attractions.

The house was in a great location and had large spaces for gathering. There were many bedrooms but the bathrooms were interesting and hard for multiple couples sharing as there is only one true master suite on the lower level. Would be hard for those with disabilities as all showers had a deep tub step downs. Kitchen was VERY well stocked. Large washer and dryer. Would suggest a TV in upstairs visiting area as kid area with arcade was only place to group watch a movie or sports. Host was great at communicating. Thank you for a memorable and unique stay!

Wonderful accommodations for Xmas celebration

We all got to stay together with plenty of room. The New River Gorge site-seeing was close by and spent a few hours there doing the auto tour. Lots of hiking to do if you are able. Beautiful place and scenery.

Big, clean, beautiful

We were there to motorcycle and Miata around the hills. We’re old guys and this house was perfect for us. Lots of rooms, appliances good, very clean. Great views off the deck and from kitchen.

Great place and location

Enjoyed this beautiful home for the weekend. Place was very clean and accurate. One downside I would say is the shower heads are not that great. Not a huge issue but overall the house was wonderful.

Our family could not have been more pleased with the house and accommodations! We loved the open space and beautiful view! Paul, the owner was a gracious host and met all our needs. We would highly recommend this rental for family vacations. Definitely a little bit of heaven in West Va.

Fascinating architecture with a beautiful view!

This house is perched on the side of the mountain with beautiful views from the back deck. Spacious house with accommodations for the entire family. Large kitchen and two long tables for eating. Great location for a family reunion!

Beautiful house

The house is clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook during our stay. We’ve been coming here for three years. We like the hot tub, the views, the layout of the house and the location.
