Family property of 13 hectares, high at the crossroads of the Lot, the Dordogne and the Lot-et-Garonne, next to the medieval village of Puy-l'Evêque, one of the most beautiful villages in the Lot, near the Château de BONAGUIL.

Old house entirely renovated in 2017, elevated on the ground floor comprising a lounge overlooking the swimming pool with fireplace (insert), a large dining room with fireplace, a kitchen, a laundry area, a WC, a master suite with bathroom, and a floor with three bedrooms, dressing room and a bathroom with WC.

House extended by a large veranda overlooking the swimming pool with lounge and summer dining room.
A secure 10m x 5m swimming pool with stairs and beach for children.

Outbuildings (storeroom, barn ...) adjoin the house but they are unoccupied and not part of the rented space.

Large lawn all around the house, extended by woods guaranteeing calm and discretion.

Amazing house and location. Beautiful views, stunning pool and charming place.

We had a fabulous week in this house extremely tastefully renovated. Spacious and clean with a lovely large swimming pool. We will come back for sure.

Wonderful family holiday with three generations

We had a fantastic holiday in this lovely house. The house is very spacious and comfortable, well- equipped and with plenty of space. The pool area is lovely and the conservatory was a great space for eating and reading. The surrounding hills are beautiful and quiet with lots of walking. Lovely surrounding towns - we visited Puy l’Eveque for boulangerie and restaurants, and further afield there are many lovely bastions and chateaux to visit. Highly recommended for a holiday for family or friends.

Lovely, happy holiday

We had a wonderful holiday with our three children. The boys loved the pool and were hardly ever out of it. The grounds were perfect for playing games etc. The house was very comfy, plenty of space and we much enjoyed eating outside on the terrace or in the morning/pool room. We much enjoyed the surrounding countryside and plenty to do and see. Would definitely return in the future.

La maison est idéalement placée dans un environnement très calme. Tous les équipements utiles sont à disposition (piscine, barbecue, table de ping pong notamment pour les plus appréciés). Des commerces à proximité permettent de faire les approvisionnements utiles. Le réfrigérateur a une contenance familiale optimale. La propriétaire a fait preuve de souplesse lors de l'arrivée. Nous avons mis un peu la climatisation mais la maison est très bien isolée. Nous sommes parfaitement satisfaits de notre séjour.

Zeer charmant huis, het straatje erheen ook 😉. Alle voorzieningen aanwezig, enkel de keukenbenodigdheden waren niet altijd even proper maar dat ligt eerder aan de vorige huurders dan aan de eigenaars. Super zwembad! Zeer rustig gelegen, ruime woning, grote tuin. Een paradijs voor wie graag even weg wil van de wereld.

Nous avons passé de super vacances entre amis, au calme loin de tout voisinage. La maison dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires. La piscine et la clime nous ont sauvé durant les très fortes chaleurs. L'annonce correspond parfaitement et la communication avec l'hôte s'est très bien déroulée.

Superbe maison de vacances

Il s’agit d’une superbe maison de vacances très bien rénovée, spacieuse et tout confort. Nous y avons séjourné à 8 personnes dont 5 adultes et 3 enfants. A noter particulièrement la grande piscine, le très grand terrain qui a fait le bonheur de notre chien, la climatisation dans toutes les chambres, la grande chambre principale avec salle de bain attenante, une cuisine bien équipée, la grande véranda où nous avons pris tous nos repas. La maison est en pleine nature sans voisinage. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le couple qui s’occupe de la maison et très bien renseignés par sa propriétaire. Il y a de belles visites aux alentours comme les châteaux de Bonaguil et Biron, le village de Puy L’évêque. Pour d’autres sites majeurs en Dordogne ou dans le Lot, il vous faudra en général au moins une heure de trajet en voiture. Je recommande cette location sans aucune réserve.

Great house, fab pool, peaceful location.

Lovely house, 1 bedroom on the ground floor, the rest upstairs, lots of options of where to eat, and all tables could seat 8 people. Great communication with Alexandra and Sophie. Air con throughout the house is a bonus.

Un très bon sejour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Montcabrier. La maison est très bien équipée, nous avons pu profiter de la piscine malgré un temps historiquement médiocre. Sophie, Alexandra et Jérôme étaient toujours disponibles pour répondre à nos interrogations. Le seul point négatif est l’éloignement des commerçants, mais avec une voiture ce n’est pas une vraie contrainte.
