Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great time. The weather was beautiful, the food was delicious, the condo was very nice. When we arrived the air conditioner would only cool to 77 degrees which was uncomfortable. I called the management and a service man came and fixed it within the hour. That was the only glitch in the entire time we were there.

Since we apparently didn’t cancel within the 60 day window we lost the entire amount of our deposit.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Compared to other units in the same building, this until was barebones. A few extras would really go a long way- soap for the kitchen, salt/pepper, laundry detergent. The unit wasn’t super clean (I could tell plates/glasses were just rinsed off and not actually washed, floors were filthy). Bunk bed mattress and pillows were the cheapest (or most worn) bed I’ve ever had to pay to sleep on. Couch was visibly dirty so I didn’t dare open it to see if the bed inside was clean or not. Will not return to this unit.

Unclean and desperately in need of updates.

Great location. Had issues with some items not in good working condition in which were handled quickly. Staff very helpful. There are no blankets. Only comforters, and they do not get washed between guests. That is unacceptable. The bedroom carpet should be removed. Oh my word it is grotesque. We wore our flip flops 100% of the time in the condo. The tile floors need commercially cleaned as they are filthy. We purchased cleaning solution and mopped ourselves. Still filthy and the mop water was so dirty. Patio table and chairs need replaced. They are in horrible condition for outdoor enjoyment. The views from this unit are spectacular. The kitchen cooking/eating supplies are lacking but adequate. Need a baking sheet and more silverware. No storage for clothing in bedroom, so you have to use closet, which is fine but get more hangers. Overall, we had a nice week but will not rent this unit again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Booked 7 nights 7/22/23-7/29/23 at Ariel Dunes I room 505. Room was very dirty. Floors counter tops filthy. Washing machine was full of sand. Had torun it numerous times to rinse sand out of machine. Lights in bathroom were burnt out. Balcony has trash from other floor thrown on it and not one complete set of chairs. Pictures that you see of this rental are a lie. Rental is filthy and looks like it was furnished from a thrift store or Goodwill. Staff is rude and not helpful at all. And restaurant has the worst food hot beer and unpleasant staff. Access to beach is not in front of condo. You have to walk down street a ways to get to entrance of beach. Don’t know why they charge cleaning fee because room isn’t clean at all. For the expensive price they charge you can get a much better place down the street. Will not stay here again nor would recommend anyone else does.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time booking at this location. The location was great. There are two pools and we were within walking distance from the beach. Our stay included free beach chair and umbrella and discounts to local restaurants and services. I appreciated the ocean view and clean linens that were provided. The kitchen was great and functional and had mostly everything you needed. I would have appreciated beach towels, and a small cooler to take to the beach. We were traveling from another state and couldn’t pack beach essentials besides beach towels. The apartment could use a few new upgrades to their king bed coverlet and shams as well as the couch and window blinds in the living room. The king bed and shams were torn at the seams and the coverlet seemed old. The couch appeared to be old and worn and the sofa bed mattress was thin and very uncomfortable. They did not provide a comforter for the sofa bed only a flat sheet. The sliding door to the balcony had several missing blinds which didn’t block out the sunlight on those early mornings. The bathtub didn’t drain properly so it would fill up while showering. The vacuum didn’t work. The bunk bed mattresses were thin and uncomfortable. It would have been nice to have a standing fan for the bunks in the hallway since there wasn’t a ceiling fan close by. I would have preferred to stay at the Embassy Suites if I had known what we were getting. Internet pictures are deceiving.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a one bed room unit that sleeps 6. The space wasn’t the issue. The issues were related to cleanliness. The unit was filthy. The walls obviously needed painting and it smelled terrible. There was no broom to sweep and a vacuum that my husband had to fix for it to work. I mean it’s a beach rental to me it makes sense to have a broom to mop up sand. The ice maker leaked so we didn’t use it. I had to wipe the wall in the kitchen with a Clorox wipe. How did someone miss this? The comforter was stained terribly. I took the pillow cases off to wash them and the pillows were disgusting. I literally went to the dollar general and got 2 new pillows. I called the front office about the broom and she was like we don’t have that I was not going but a broom after buying pillows. It just wasn’t clean

Everything looked looked clean ik the photos, but when we arrived, everything was dirty, there were stains on the walls, the bedsheets also had stains, the bunk bed looked very dirty so I didn't even let my kids sleep there. The coffee table in the living room was broken. We woke up early in the morning because about half of the blinds were missing. The nightstands in the room were also covered in stains. The carpet was smelly. The only hood thing was the view from the balcony. I'm not going to return to this hotel, and I don't recommend for anyone to go there.

Location is close to the beach and beach amenities were were well organized and staff was kind and professional. For this particular unit, the layout was good and worked for our group of 4; however, the unit needs some care to continue to host. The coffee table was broken and a hazard for small children or really anyone staying there. When we arrived, the nightstands and other areas still had rings from cups on the furniture. The kitchen amenities were lacking from most condos with sparse utensils and nearly nonexistent cups and glasses. Finally, to play a family board game we attempted to use the balcony chairs and table because of the broken coffee table. Unfortunately, every time we went outside another guest was smoking so profusely on one of the nearby balconies that the space became unusable in the day or night. With these issues addressed, the unit could be perfect for vacations — centrally located on property, easy to find parking, quick access to two pools and the beach, and a quiet community.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property overall needs a lot of TLC and cleaning. I didn’t see one person outside cleaning anything the whole week. The 505 unit itself was not well cared for. Furniture overall is old and not in good condition, especially LR table(?) and outdoor furniture. Unit is pretty tight size wise too. TV in LR didn’t work so I contacted customer service mainly to notify them and they were supposed to come the next day, but I never heard a word from them (no show no call-terrible). Service highlights were the check in which was allowed early (nice) and follow up, plus check out was seamless text/email link. The property location was good and very short walk to beach. Beach service was simple and good after we talked to service workers setting things up. Resort needs to inform guests that free beach service is with the purple umbrellas, down a bit from the property entrance (not far though-just communication). You cannot get you chairs and umbrella until 9am and location of setups are first come first serve, so if you want front row get there at 830-9 to be sure and take your amenity card. Pools were very nice but don’t forget codes and wristbands. We forgot to use amenity card at mezcal and ice cream shop on north part of property. Those places were both good. We had our best dinners at Kenny Ds about 5 miles west on old 98. We didn’t try the cafe at the hotel. Best breakfast was mama clemenza’s on close on main 98 highway. In closing, I would have to say that I would not stay at this property again when visiting the Destin/MB area. It’s a good location but it needs some definite work. Needs serious outdoor cleaning and unit needs a remodel and new furniture. If you stay here, pick an recently updated unit on a higher floor. We chose 505 so if necessary we could use stairs if elevators were a problem. Elevators were not a problem to get access to, although one was blocked off as broken the entire time. Reviewer Comments: This condo was offered to me after I complained about the terrible condition of the first condo I rented. This condo has broken furniture, old dirty carpet in the bedroom, old, dingy, possibly dirty comforter in the bedroom. The ice dispenser in the fridge was broken and frozen. The deck furniture is dirty, and has holes and chipping paint. They gave me the wrong address for my mail forwarding and then could not provide a mailbox key to allow me to collect my mail. The unit needs a larger living room TV, a luggage rack for suitcases, paint and a serious cleaning. Maintenance entered the condo twice while I was in the shower. Two of the four elevators in this large high rise were out of order for a week while I stayed there.I cannot recommend this condo, this building or this management company.

Awesome Vacation

The location of this property is very central to everything. We loved staying there and the ease of access to the beach. The view was incredible from the kitchen. My boys loved the pools and the bunk beds. Overall, had a great family vacation and the weather was just perfect for the week we were there.

Ariel Dunes Review

Overall for a family of 3 there was plenty of room in the condo but if you were to have more people, I do not recommend. The living room and kitchen were a good size as well as the bathroom but the bedroom was tiny and there was not very much space to keep your stuff. The carpet in the bedroom is stained and if you walked on the tile your feet would be black. There was a huge footprint on the wall when we walked in the condo and the balcony was filthy. We also had cigarette butts from the condo above all over the balcony every morning. At one point one burned through a towel I had drying outside. However, The pool area was nice and the walk to the beach was easy. For the price, im not sure I would recommenced this room.

Over priced for what you get

The floor was sticky, the ice dispenser wouldn’t dispense ice. The faucet in the kitchen leaked everywhere. The toilet would run every time it was flushed. Very out dated. No where to put your clothes. I never complained but will not stay there again.

Great place to stay will definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed the stay in unit #0505. The unit was very clean only thing I would add is the patio needs to be pressure wash, there were a lot of spider webs and debris and the shower head in the bath tub needs to be changed out. Besides that the unit was great! Great views of the pool and gulf! Easy check in and check out process!
