Come relax at Elk Ridge Cabin. You can enjoy the mountain views and listening to the soothing waters of Jonathan Creek just by sitting under our covered decks. This charming and rustic hand hewn chink log home will make you feel as if you have stepped back in time.

Fully renovated, the interior of this cabin is as quaint and cozy as the exterior with a gas burning fireplace, hardwood floors and vaulted family bedroom loft.This private cabin offers a wonderful yard to sit in, relax, and play during your stay.

Elk Ridge Cabin is just one block away from the main thoroughfare to the Cataloochee Ski Mountain/Cataloochee Horse Ranch and 2 miles from the ramp to the Blue Ridge Parkway. You can take a scenic drive up to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky National Park or hike many nearby trails and enjoy the waterfalls and cool streams with a picnic. Maggie Valley with all it's activities and ammenities is also very close by, as is Waynesville's historic downtown. Walk to the famous Joey's Pancake house or just spend a day at your cabin in the mountains. Asheville is a 45 min. drive away and makes for a great day trip to visit the Biltmore estate. The cabin was spectacularly clean the property owner was very very nice she actually let us check in a day early and stay an extra day we enjoyed our stay here so much we definitely would recommend this to anyone and we will be coming back next year

Upon arrival had to contact host for access to home. Earlier confirmation e-mail said key was on site, it was a key code lock. Fireplace did not work, which would have been a nice extra heat source.

Cute and cozy!

Very cute and quiet, perfect little neighborhood. Loved sitting outside and hearing the near by stream and the surrounding views. Only downside we would notice the neighbor sitting and watching every move we made, was starting to wonder if he was the property owner.

Amazing Cabin!

We had the best stay in this lovely cabin! It was comfortable, clean, and provided the perfect place to relax and connect as a family. We enjoyed cooking s’mores at the outside fire pit and watching the rabbits and an elk that were just outside the cabin. This is simply the best rental I have ever stayed at!

My wife, toddler and myself loved this small but suffencient cabin. It was beautiful early in the morninga and the sound of the creek rushing by was amazing.

Weekend Getaway

This little cabin was beautiful! My children fell in love, both with location and decorations within. It was very well stocked with everything from pots, pans and dishes to plenty of towels and toiletries. Great location as well, the Soco Falls, Tube world and everything else we wanted to do was all very close. I took my kids for a birthday surprise getaway and we will definitely be back again, they had so much fun tbey were sad to meave.

Wonderful stay

Great time. Trees changing color in mountain across the street. Very peaceful and quiet. Really enjoyed the fire pit. Also seen few elk down the road. Will definitely be back.

Great little cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It’s so quaint and cozy. Everything was clean and had nice decorations (we were there right after Christmas/New Years). The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. It’s very close to tubing and to the road that takes you to the ski resort, which is very convenient. . The owner was responsive and flexible.

Cozy cabin in close proximity to area attractions

We enjoyed the cabin ambiance (wood interior, gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit, giant loft bedroom) without having to make a long drive up and down narrow mountain roads to a more remote location. This cabin is cozy and conveniently located in Maggie Valley. It looks just like the pictures. Note, there is no dishwasher or garbage disposal which was a slight adjustment for us. I had a couple of questions, and the owner quickly responded every time. In my opinion, I think it is an ideal space for a group of four people or less, although it can accommodate more. I definitely recommend this cabin, and would like to visit it again.

Enjoyable but some issues

We loved the cabin but had difficulty w/Wifi, despite specific directions in email. Calls and messages sent through VRBO app went unanswered. We never got a response or help w/Wifi. The heater upstairs seemed to not work but we used extra blanket.
