We are in Maggie Valley 3-4 times a year and have stayed many places and I have to say Patrick’s home checked all of the boxes. It was very clean and felt like home. We have back problems so we both appreciated the comfy bed. The fenced in yard was nice for our dog. Very convenient to Soco Rd. Patrick was a great host and we will definitely be back!

Great stay with our little pup. The fenced in backyard was great. Easy to get to both Maggie Valley and Waynesville, with paved roads. Home was comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. A great location.

We had a great long weekend getaway at the cabin. The house was perfect for our family of 4 and our small dog. Our 2 sons loved up the upstairs bedroom / loft area and the fenced in backyard was great to let our dog out to play in. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and having a washing machine / dryer we could use after our boys went tubing was a bonus. Patrick was responsive and let us stay a couple hours late on the day of checkout to watch the end of the Olympics gold medal hockey game, which was much appreciated! The location is great as well and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area, especially with Waynesville a short drive away. We will definitely keep this cabin in mind for future rentals.

Another lovely stay

This was our third time staying here while visiting the area - it's a great location, close to Cherokee and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway and so many other awesome places are just a short (and scenic) ride away. We are certain to come back again as we truly enjoy this VRBO!

Patrick was responsive when questions arose.We were disappointed that there was no firewood or a couple of starter kits or some fat-lighter. When a guest would walk around upstairs, the creaking was quite loud at night. Kitchen is super small, but we only used it for fridge and to make coffee. Other than that, was close to main drag to get something to eat and go skiing.

Ken, i’m disappointed in a 3 star review. no where in the listing does it show i would provide firewood or starter so I’m a little confused about that. regardless, thanks for staying.
