This island condo is tucked away in a quiet, small complex that is less than 100 steps to the beach. With fresh, updated decor this rental is a great place to spend your island time. When not relaxing on one of the two private outdoor patios and barbecuing on the gas grill, make sure to enjoy the large, heated community pool. .

Not only is this condo a seashell’s throw from the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico, it is also only a 3 minute walk to an ice cream parlor, shopping and multiple restaurants – just stroll through the pool’s back gate and you will see the retail center! Also nearby there are plenty of other options for great island cuisine and shopping including Manatee Public Beach which offers beachside dining (including all you can eat pancakes on the beach) or hop on the free trolley to experience Pine Avenue, Bridge Street and other attractions AMI has to offer.

Across the street proximity to the beach as well as a clean pool that will seem private even though it’s shared. This condo is a great value for a budget conscious family of four looking to stay on Anna Maria. You will not be disappointed in the staff or the property.

STAY HERE!!! Best place on Holmes beach!

Unfortunately I believe that Hurricane Helena caused this property to be updated. It was needed and now it is incredible! New ceiling, walls, appliances, furnishings. I just can’t say enough about how amazing everything looks. I’ve stayed here many times before and it never disappoints me, but this was the upmost improvement. We will be back!!

Great Beach Location

Exceptionally clean and updated unit located steps from the beach. Really appreciated the in-unit laundry as we stayed for 10 days. One area for improvement, this unit did not have beach chairs or suitable umbrella for use. Kind of a bummer that we spent $160 to purchase them especially for an island beach accommodation .

Very nice

Very nice, except: Sofa bed is not in bedroom, but in living room - the front door needs a lock that actually works - the unit needs a knife sharpener, I did not like almost cutting off my fingers with dull steak knives

AMI Stay

We love AMI! This is our second time staying at Sea Pirate just a different condo. The location is perfect!!! The condos are perfect for my family and we love the heated pool! This unit was great too. Clean and has everything you need. Only thing was I think the dish washer is not working. The dishes, cups, utensils all had food still stuck on them. It was gross! We went out and bought paper stuff and plastic utensils. Other then that our stay was GREAT and we will definitely be back!

Vacasa Managed, Buyer Beware

The only good thing about this place was it's location. Found it on VRBO but when I went to reserve it, I was rerouted to Vacasa. The place was dirty when we arrived, had no tv/internet for first four days, wasted an entire day trying to get someone from Vacasa locally to get internet fixed, minimal cookware which were dirty and had food crusted on them, bed wasn't made when we arrived, no starter pack for bathroom or laundry...and the list goes on. Highly overpriced for what we found when we arrived.

Anniversary getaway

The gorgeous Holmes Beach on the Gulf was just 300 ft away, the pool was super clean and heated, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed it very much. More instructions are needed for the door lock. It took us a while to figure out how to do it. After we put in the code and put the key in, what was needed was for the key to be pushed in further before the key could be turned. Then the knob could be turned to unlock or lock the door. More drinking glasses, mugs, and forks would allow for less dishwashing. Other than that we have no advice. Thanks.

Perfect getaway location!

As a mother of two little kids, this rental is absolutely perfect. With ample sleeping space, impeccable cleanliness, and its own washer and dryer (my personal favorite), Sea Pirate 1 has become a summer necessity for our family. Each time we come back, we notice a new improvement that has been made. The owners are quick to help in any way, making each stay hassle-free. The walk to the beach is quick, private pool is nice, and location is perfect if you need something from Walgreens, CVS, or Publix. We will be back for sure!

Nice place but 180% price increase for 2023… no way

We have stayed at Sea Pirate #1 for two years and loved the location and the many friends we made there. The owner did replace the worn out warped wood floor and replaced the old microwave. While we were there, Vacasa came through with replacing the rusted out gas grill as well. Unfortunately, he beds were still hard as a rock. We wanted to book again for 2023, but the insane price increase of 180% over the 2022 price was something I refused to do. As a result, we had to book a different unit from a different rental company in the same area. Sad that greedy owners are gouging people and driving folks to look elsewhere.

Loved the location of the property and the rental was small but sufficient for a family of 3. We would have given 5 stars, however the WiFi was out the entire week and made the features in the home difficult. The key code to the door didn’t work on arrival so we only had one key. The wifi also affected the cable and on the stormy evenings this was also inconvenient. Vacasa was aware of the issues upon arrival and never sent anyone to check on it. Also no parking pass in the unit and we had to pick one up, I think they should have brought it to up considering the other issues we had. The beach however was beautiful!

Fantastic location!!

Great place, could be fabulous

Clean, conveniently located close to beach, groceries, and shops. The unit is updated and comfortable, although the outside table shows rust. Some of the amenities were a bit sparse. Two kitchen chairs but the listing says for four. There were plates, cups, and silverware but there wasn’t a pitcher in the cabinets. Lastly, the directions on check in and check out (especially) were confusing and I had to call for help to get in the unit. Still, we had a lovely time.

Great rental with an even better location to the beach!

This is the first time we have stayed at Sea Pirate 1. We throughly enjoyed our time there and was very impressed with how the kitchen was equipped. We utilized the beach chairs and umbrella. The patio and pool were comfortable and a nice place to hang out after a sunny day at the beach. This unit is literally 350’ from the beach and you can’t beat that. We did have a small issue with the bedroom cable box but after a call to Vacasa, Mitch came over and fixed us right up, he was the best !!! We already have this unit rented for next year !!! Can’t wait until then.
