Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood

The house is clean, quiet, and cool in a convenient location. It seems newly renovated with all the amenities you would want for a vacation stay. It’s a quick walk to Thames St in one direction and to King’s Park on the water in the other direction. We had plenty of space and privacy. The host was easily accessible and clear with check in and check out instructions. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Newport.

Great location for seeing all there is in Newport

The property was ideally located for our group of 6 adults to visit the New York Yacht Club's Harbour Ct. as well as walk around Newport during the week of the NYCC Resolute Cup and the Newport Boat Show. All features of the property were as represented and we had complete privacy among the 3 couples staying at the home, as well as being well appointed and extremely clean. We hope to come back in 2024 and would stay at the property again.

Great place for our family vacation!

Mike was very nice & responsive to any questions we had. He had lots of suggestions for restaurants in the area too. The home was perfect for our family vacation & had everything we needed. It had plenty of room for the 5 of us, as well as our 6 month old granddaughter. It’s located on a quiet street but so close to the shops & restaurants which made it a perfect spot to walk everywhere. It was also a short drive to the beaches which was a nice surprise. We really enjoyed our Newport family vacation in this home & look forward to coming back again.

Best rental we've enjoyed in Newport!

We absolutely loved our stay. The location is perfect - it's a quiet street off of Thames and walking distance to everything. The house layout is great with its three floors and is perfectly appointed. We've rented other homes in Newport and this one is our favorite!

Great Stay

My friends and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and it was great! It’s in good location (15 minute walk to shops and restaurants) and it was very clean. In addition, Mike was very hospitable and very responsive. I would definitely go back here and recommend to others!

Perfect location in Newport

We stayed here over Thanksgiving and very much enjoyed our stay. There are a lot of great things about this house. The location is fabulous. We could walk to restaurants, shops, mansions, other historical areas, and the water. We rarely had to get in the car. The house is in excellent condition and feels very new and beautiful. The bedrooms were spacious for a Newport rental, and quite comfortable. The heating system worked well. We didn't use it in November, but the backyard looked like it would have been great in the winter. There were a couple of things that kept this house from a 5 star rating - and these mostly apply more in winter than summer. First, the heat was LOUD. Every time it went on throughout the night, the pipes would bang and it woke up multiple people in the house. Second, the kitchen was not well stocked. Granted, we were there for Thanksgiving so needed more than the average guest, but at the time we stayed, there was no form of baking tray, limited bowls, no measuring cups or spoons, etc. We ended up buying a bunch at Christmas Tree Shops and leaving it there so there should be more there now. Overall, though, we were very pleased with our stay, and think it would be particularly awesome in summer, when the yard would increase the amount of space, BBQing would be more common, and heating clanking would not be an issue.

Perfect Newport House!

We could not have asked for a better house in Newport. First, the owner was very easy to communicate with and offered recommendations of local favorites. The house was clean, well cared for, updated and had everything we needed. The backyard is beautiful- perfect for lawn games! It is walkable to downtown but on a quiet street. We had six adults and one infant. There was enough space for everyone. We will be back!

Great home base for boat show

House was great for the boat show team working the show. Healthy walk to and from show. Quiet up and coming neighborhood. Everything is brand new and fully functioning. Mike was great about supplying extra linens for change of crew. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful weekend with friends at Mike's house in Newport. It is beautifully finished with all the modern conveniences. Would definitely recommend staying here on a visit to Rhode Island.

The perfect Newport house!

We absolutely loved this house! Sparkling clean, a great back deck, perfect size rooms, quiet street close to downtown and lots of natural light. Mike was great to communicate with, and the ease of checkin was perfect as well. We'd absolutely stay here again!

Perfect house near downtown

Mike was so easy to communicate with and the house was a perfect size for 3 couples. It had an amazing back yard and deck. It was walkable to everything and close drive to the beaches. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

This Newport property is exactly what we were hoping for. The house is very clean, completely renovated and in the perfect location for a girls weekend in Newport. Check-in process was incredibly easy and the owner was very easy to get in touch with. I would 100% stay at this rental again! It is one of the nicest rental options I have seen for a great Newport location.

Weekend in Newport

We had a wonderful experience staying at Mike’s house. House is very spacious for 6 guests and was spotless when we arrived. The bathrooms are very nice. Back deck with grill was a nice plus! Plenty of towels were provided. The house is a perfect location! Short walk to Thames street and quick drive to the beach. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Thanks Mike!
