Two bedrooms plus loft, upper garage suite with private entry and balcony on a secluded property of 160 acres of rolling hills and gorgeous view of the majestic Chief Mountain.

Full service kitchen with fridge and pantry items: salt & pepper, spices, ketchup, mustard, and cold cereals! Keurig single serve coffee maker.

Master Bedroom: Queen Bed (2)

2nd Bedroom: Built in Double bed (2), and 2nd double bed 🛌 (2)

Loft: convertible sofa futon (1-2)

Living room: convertible sofa futon (1-2)

Play pen is available upon request.

Bathroom has separate sink area from toilet and shower to accommodate several users at the same time.

Backyard activities include: walking, hiking, biking, 4-wheeling, winter sledding, and deer watching.

Located a quick 10 min drive from town of Cardston, 30 min drive (40 km) to Waterton National Park Entrance on Hwy 5 West, and 60 min drive on Hwy 5 East (85 km) to nearest city Lethbridge.

Closest international airport Calgary (YYC) is a 2 hr and 40 min drive south on Hwy 2 (253 km ).

We like to do lots of our own cooking, so the spacious and well-equipped kitchen was terrific. There was lots of room for our family of four and the air conditioning made our stay extra comfortable. Although the house is not right in Cardston, the scenic and quiet country surroundings were a peaceful touch and the deer kept us entertained. The accommodations are tastefully decorated and the space was very clean.

You could not ask or find for a better property to stay at if you are looking for a trip to waterton. The property is exceptional, tons of space, great views, and a perfect drive into Waterton. I could not say more great things about our time and stay. Anyone looking for a place to stay should 100% consider choosing this great property. We plan to travel lots of but we ever come back we will definitely come back to this property. Owner is an exceptional person aswell

This place is on a beautiful ranch. The views of the prairie and mountains are amazing. You can watch deer grazing from the front window. The apartment is very clean and well stocked with everything you need to feel at home.

We stayed here for 2 nights in August 2024. The place was very nice and clean, with lots of sleeping options. The views from the property were spectacular and it was an easy drive into Waterton Lakes. It was a little tricky to find using Google maps, so be sure to contact the owner ahead of time for extra directions.

I loved this property and the owner was so wonderful and replied to every question and mesage i sent. We arrived to a beatifully maintained suite with beautiful custom work and a view that makes you want to stay. I highly recommend this place if you're heading to Waterton and want to stay close.

Home on the range

We have stayed in vacation rentals all over the world and none were quite like this one! The stunning views of the prairie and the mountains were unmatched, and the peaceful quiet made for really good nights sleep! The apartment is driveable to both Waterton and Glacier NPs, and Clayton was such a responsive and lovely host. Highly recommend!

First timers to Waterton and area

The property was really nice. The interior is cute, and in my opinion the pictures on Vrbo doesn’t do it justice. The layout of the home is also well put together. It’s perfect for hosting visitors. We had a great time here. The hosts were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Why they chose this property

Enjoy this beautiful rustic inspired second floor apartment, complete with douglas fir walls, railings and beams. The 2 bedrooms have natural wood walls that feel like you are in a cabin, while the living room and kitchen feature beautifully unique stained burnt wood (shou sugi ban) walls.
The loft above the bedrooms has futons that can be used for lounging or sleeping and has a view of the mountains.
We look forward to meeting travelers from all over the world who want to enjoy the serenity of mountain views, sunsets and resident wildlife of this gorgeous!
