Relax in our cozy, standalone cottage on two beautifully maintained acres shared with the main house. Enjoy a peaceful country setting with fruit trees, chickens, and friendly resident pets.

The fully fenced, gated property offers privacy and security. Parking for up to two vehicles is available, with a short path leading to the cottage.

Located close to the heart of Placerville—just minutes from downtown, Apple Hill, local wineries, shopping, and seasonal skiing.

Well-behaved pets are welcome. Please don’t leave pets unattended and clean up after them. Water bowl and waste bags provided. We look forward to welcoming you to our cozy cottage!

Everything was set up perfectly for us. We were even allowed to check in early when requested. There was excellent coffee and nice snacks provided. A kitty was also always there to greet us and say good bye.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chuckelli Farms, the property was clean, peaceful, and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and attentive, while still giving us privacy and space. The location was near shopping and restaurants, but far enough away where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. We highly recommend a stay here!

The cottage is beautiful inside and out. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom shower is cozy and very clean. Add to that the kind nature of the owner and you may see why we would return for another stay without a doubt! Our granddaughter loved the swing and well kept grass yard.

We love sharing our property with guests. Chuck works full time, but still finds time to maintain the property to look like a park! I manage the vacation rental, coordinate events, work part time as an office manager, and enjoy seasonal creative projects. We’re proud to call historic Placerville home.

Why they chose this property

Come relax and enjoy a little fruit-tree paradise! Our property is home to over 60 fruit trees, with Fuyu persimmons stealing the show—plus pears, apples, figs, peaches, plums, pomegranates, grapes, walnuts, apricots, and even limes. We keep a small summer garden, and when winter rolls around, we let both the land (and ourselves) take a well-earned rest.

What makes this property unique

Our cottage is very private. We have 2 acres of well maintained lawns, orchard and unique trees. We have hosted a few weddings for our family. The weeping willow is a favorite as well as a 300 year old oak tree that has been wrapped in wisteria vines. There are several seating areas around the property for you to relax in and enjoy.
