My wife and I were in town for a wedding. The house was in a beautiful quiet setting, fantastic views! Enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings just listening to nature.
Very nice cabin and property! We enjoyed all of the birds and other animals in the yard. Close to town to be convenient but secluded and quiet! We visited many of the small towns in the valley and enjoyed shopping and exploring them. We drove to some beautiful lakes and steams in the canyons nearby and enjoyed the water. The host was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.
Lisa and Bill were great hosts and made sure we arrived safely in the wake of an unusually strong wind storm that downed trees in the Bitterroot Valley.
The cabin is about 5 miles from the nearest town and is equipped with a king bed and two full size beds. Sleeps four comfortably or six if people cuddle.
There is a pnntry with most essentials and the refrigerator has and ice maker. Bil and Lisa also left us a bag of cubed ice.
Water pressure was great and the washer and dryer were like new. We had four guests most nights and were very comfortable.
There are many access points on the River for fishing within a half hour drive.
Highly recommend.
I was lied to about condition of property before we arrived. I asked about AC working. When we arrived, AC did not work. Owner said it was my fault. She always says it is renters fault on all issues. Smoke was so bad we could not open windows. On the 9th day, owner called AC repairman. It needed freon and would not work without it. We offer to leave property, but she would not refund remaining rental fee. Many other issues with property. Please don't spend your money here.

I did not lie to him about anything. He tried to cancel a few days before arrival and wanted a full refund. I told him if I could get it rented by someone else with such short notice I would refund him. He was angry about that before he arrived, and tried to find every excuse possible to get a refund. As soon as he complained about the air-conditioning someone was there immediately to check it. All they did was a little top off on the Freon. It was blowing cold air the entire time. The family who checked out immediately before his arrival said everything was wonderful, 5 stars. Read all the other 5 star reviews and see who you believe.
Lisa's property is outstanding. It is located on a quiet road, in an idyllic rural setting with beautiful gardens and a stunning view of the bitterroot mountains. It is hard to describe the tranquillity of the place either in photos or in words, all I can say is that if you are in this area and are looking for a place to kick back and spoil yourself, please come here. The value for money is great - the decoration is tasteful - the amenities are excellent. The house is also in an area of natural beauty, trekking and other sporting activities and Lisa had loads of information on what to do in the area. But if you felt lazy, like we did, you can always just lie on the huge green lawn or take a dip in the jacuzzi. Finally, Lisa is the kindest and loveliest woman I have "never" met. She was super helpful, accommodating and a great communicator. If we are back in the area again, we would go out of our way to come here. Thanks Lisa for hosting us xxxx
My boyfriend and I were in town to research the area and search for properties to relocate. We didn't have ANY down time to thoroughly enjoy her place, but the few hours we did have we were grateful to be in her gorgeous home. The peace and privacy is unmatched!! We needed quiet, and this was the perfect place for that. Her landscaping was admired daily as I'd walk the grounds with my evening glass of wine or sip morning coffee admiring the mountain views from the living room or two decks. We saw chipmunks, fawn & bucks, wild turkeys, & varieties of birds. A hummingbird was always greeting me morning & evening on the deck. Beautifully & thoughtfully decorated, comfortable bed, and clean! Hot tub was a great way to sooth our tired muscles & admire the stars. The pictures don't do her place justice, you really have to see it in person to appreciate all there is to offer. There were a few setbacks that I'll mention, but nothing that would prevent us from returning. I needed to reach out a few times to receive arrival instructions & directions. I would've appreciated not having to initiate that on my own, as it would've streamlined that end of planning of our trip which was very time sensitive. The propane ran out during use, a back up would've been helpful. The refrigerator wasn't working right & freezing our groceries, but a mini fridge was offered immediately. The AC wasn't working well, but opening the windows at night did the trick, and the auto lock stopped working after a long day on the road, but Lisa had a remedy for that too. All of these issues were understandable, as we're homeowners ourselves & know things happen. Every time a problem arose, Lisa was quick to respond with a solution & was an extremely kind person to chat with. I only mention these out of honesty, not criticism. We would not hesitate to stay in her home again, it was a wonderful experience even with all the little things "life" brought us. Do yourself a favor & rent her place!
Perfect for our family getaway! The property is gorgeous along with the view. The house is supplied with all the amenities needed for our stay. We enjoyed the patio and the hot tub. The beds were really comfy too! Will definitely return on our next visit to Stevensville. Thank you Lisa for sharing your beautiful house.
This property is just amazing just like its owner whom we had a pleasure of meeting. The house was very welcoming with beautiful views of the mountains from two sides and even the master bedroom/bathroom. The property’s location is perfect also-it’s close to all the beautiful nature/trails in the area. I’ve visited other areas in Montana, but this location has the most beautiful scenery and some wildlife too. We enjoyed the views from this property every morning and evening during our stay. The house has everything you need (and then some more) and is very spacious. It’s a must visit and must see spot!!! We can’t wait to visit again!
This property was outstanding ! The home itself is a destination! It felt like a luxury private retreat . Each room of the home has awe-inspiring views of the Bitteroot Mountains. Literally, you can see epic mountains from bed or from the bath or from the kitchen table. There are 2 decks (one with hottub) with views also. The location was peaceful and full of birds and deer to watch while we drank our morning coffee on the porch. Stevensville is also the best location in the Bitteroot--it's more pastoral and charming than the other towns. Lisa was a fantastic host.
