Welcome to this beautiful A-frame cabin! This recently (2025) renovated cabin is exactly where you want to be!

We have owned the Grandview Motel since 2006 so we consider ourselves experts in the hospitality business. We have 6 vacation rental properties in the Ferryville area for you to choose from, as well as one near De Soto 10 miles away. If you have a larger group, you can rent our Riverview Cabin and Woodview Lodge cabin that are walking distance away from Vistaview Chalet. We own all 3 and they're the only ones on the Night Hawk Trail Road cul de sac.

We take great pride in providing a fabulous place to spend your precious vacation time. Once you walk in the door, all of your cares will slip away. Everything you need is provided for you. Privacy and nature at its finest!

We had a fantastic weekend enjoying the beautiful view. Although we had a rainy weekend, the space was so wonderful to stay in. We loved the ease of using the hot tub and spent a lot of time staring out the windows and watching eagles and hawks and turkey vultures glide across the sky. The only change I would recommend is updating the cooking utensils - the nonstick pans were not usable due to flaking off of nonstick coating, the knives were very dull, and one of the cutting boards has plastic flaking off. Even in spite of those challenges, we would still recommend this stay to others!

Views are stunning!

Pictures of the view at this property don't do it justice!! This cozy chalet is absolutely perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub is wonderful. Property is well maintained, very clean, lots of amenities for anything you need. HIGHLY recommend staying here! We hope to be back!

Great family get away

This was an excellent family get away. We came with our 3 kids, 13, 10, and 7. We loved the views, lay out of the house, and the decor. The kids didn’t want to leave the cabin playing games and putting puzzles together with hot tub breaks every once in a while was so much fun.

Our Getaway

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and it was just perfect. Between the view and the house itself it was amazing. Loved the peace and tranquility. Sooo very relaxing.The loft was beautiful and waking up to that view was amazing. The cabin is beautiful and the special touches made it even more so.
