Welcome to the beauty of nature along the Mississippi! This cabin has it all from modern amenities and an authentic log cabin feel to the beautiful soaring views of the Mississippi. You and your guests will enjoy the convenient location, only 12 minutes from Lansing, IA or 7 minutes to the nearest boat landing. Take in the wildlife that frequently passes through the peaceful wooded hillside on the large covered screened porch. Once you arrive you will agree the drive was well worth the visit!

Absolutely loved this place! Great getaway for the weekend. Location was perfect and the dogs loved it!This home was just as beautiful as the pictures. Located in the ATV trails it was easy to get around.We hope to come back!

Thank you for your feedback, Fred. For safety concerns of cracking chipping etc we invested in plastic dish wear. As we also have families with kids that visit the cabin.

Great place to kick back and unwind. The cabin was clean, and Michael was a great host, he was quick to respond to any questions we had. The view was absolutely amazing, and we were able to enjoy some wild life, deer, grouse and even a wood chuck! Would definitely recommend the cabin for a great get away.

This is a terrific place to stay. We loved being close to the river to boat and the place itself is in a very peaceful location. A previous reviewer mentioned that a bar got in and there was a smell, but we didn’t experience that over our 2 nights. Just a terrific place to stay with a great host! We’d definitely come back.

This is a lovely, quiet, secluded property with an incredible view. We spent alot of time on the screened in porch. Great relaxation spot day or night. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay. Gorgeous home and had everything we needed. The only thing I could suggest is to get glassware and full plate/bowl/ coffee cup sets. Owner was fast to reply to any questions I had.

Hidden Gem

Great place to spend a few days. Quiet, comfortable and relaxing environment. Beds are firm, shower is warm and AC is strong... Perfect spot for day tripping the bluffs.

Great place to stay

Very quiet and tranquil location with views of the Mississippi River. Plenty of room for our family of 4 and our dog. Nice size bedrooms with comfortable beds. Enjoyed coffee every morning on the screened porch. The cabin is also within close proximity to various fishing spots and some very good restaurants.

Fall Getaway

Perfect place to stay with our hunting crew. The view is amazing with the fall colors. Only complaint was the beds are very firm. Otherwise everything was perfect!
