Home Truths: - Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet. - Please note that this home is located on a bustling street, and guests may occasionally hear some traffic noise. - Please note that we do not provide firewood, you may want to bring your own. - The property has landscaping performed on Tuesdays between the hours of 9am and 1pm. - During the winter months, due to cold weather and limited heating time, the pool may not reach full temperature at night. - Please be aware that due to the La Jolla noise ordinance the hot tub is only able to be used between 4pm - 9pm. - Waterfall feature on the spa will not be available. - The backyard layout may look different from the photos listed. - This home is located in a neighborhood with a strict noise ordinance policy and therefore is only suitable for quieter groups. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home, otherwise, if violations occur you may be subject to a fine that can reach up to $10,000. - Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Same-day bookings are not permitted. - Absolutely no exterior amplified music is allowed. Violations will result in a $500 fine. - While we do our best to notify guests in advance, unannounced power outages may occur due to unexpected city maintenance. - No events are allowed unless pre-approved and coordinated through Avantstay. This includes but is not limited to: rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and social gatherings. - All guests must comply with local laws regarding outdoor lighting, quiet hours, and limitations on parties or gatherings.
Parking Details: The garage accommodates 1 car. 2 cars will fit in the driveway. Limited street parking is also available. Do not park in the alleyway.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

Well appointed kitchen, cute decor, perfect size with three bedrooms.blinds in the upper living room windows would help keep that part of the home cool in the afternoon sun.

We stayed at this property while bringing our son to college at UCSD. Such a cute and comfortable place. Just a few miles to campus and a short walk to the beach. Management left a nice note and gift for us to enjoy during our stay—a very nice touch.

Although the place is weathered a bit from use and the elements, it is a super comfortable and convenient place to stay. The kitchen is well stocked and little touches such as having some beach toys and a coupe of beach chairs were very helpful. Responses to queries were brisk and professional. The outside area was spacious and a favorite place to start and end each day. Overall we had a great stay!

I’m blown away by everything this property offered. Location is just a ~10 min walk to Windansea beach and restaurants. The pool is much bigger than expected. The beds were huge and comfortable. Loved that there were games, bikes, long boards, boogie boards and complimentary drinks in the fridge. So convenient that they had a high chair and pack and play for us too! Check in process was easy as can be. I can’t wait to stay here again!
The house is in a great location. Easy to walk everywhere.There is one supplies at all in the house. The furniture is uncomfortable. The lights from the unit right beside it shine in the bedroom all night long. Hot tub is only usable for a certain time frame.

Visit with 3 adult children for 1 week. The positives of this place: location relative to downtown LaJolla; outdoor patio on a nice day; good offstreet parking. The “others” of this place: not a single drawer in any bedroom so you’re living out of a suitcase all trip; all interior furniture is super uncomfortable (get rid of the desks and add some chairs); pool is “heated” … but maybe to 70? Also - this place (as noted on other posts) IS on LaJolla Blvd, which is a 6/10 loud during the day, even with the fence.

Great space but management needs to work out some issues
This space is great and convenient in downtown La Jolla. Sleeps 6 very comfortably and we had 2 small dogs with us and they loved the house. Huge hot tub and patio, but only able to use the hot tub from 4pm-9pm. Hopefully Avantstay is solving the problem of hot water usage at the house, as we only had hot water the first day. They were quick to respond but unable to get anyone in to repair that. That should be an easy fix. Otherwise we would stay again as there is plenty of parking as well. Up to 5 cars-which you rarely find in any larger city.

Good location - home needs attention
Located on busy La Jolla Blvd so a lot of traffic noise - bedrooms were quiet though since in the back. Hot water was a major problem which the rental company already knew about. Repair company came while we were there and said the tankless water heater is too small and is designed to only heat one element at a time so you can't run the dishwasher and a shower, or 2 showers at the same time. The hot tub is on a timer and only runs from 4-9 pm but it was only warm (not hot) and the jets came on randomly once for a few minutes. Hot tub wasn't very clean (bandaids and debris in it when we arrived) and was never serviced during the 5 nights we rented. We also encountered a female black widow spider with a web and egg sac on the outdoor coffee table - advised management to hire an exterminator. Kitchen had adequate basic cookware but no cooking supplies (no cooking oil or anything). Primary shower has very slow drain and fills up with water. Have rented in La Jolla many times but would not rent this property again as there are much better options.

This house was the perfect size and location for our family of five to relax do a few days. The decor was darling. The spaces were clean and we had everything we needed. Location is great too. We could walk to the beach in about 10 minutes. And there are tons of fabulous food options to door dash or travel to. Great time!
