Host was very friendly. Room picture on the site is not the same as the room now. Ice machine was broken the whole time for the building. Would have been nice to have an alternative. Construction going on right across the building which was loud. The mesh cover on the patio deck was zapped strapped on but one half was missing some so the mesh would constantly hit your legs which was annoying. The sheer curtains are very dirty and need a wash. A box of kleenex would be a nice touch.Location was great and close to the beach

Place was conveniently located, & host very helpful& prompt answering any questions. Front desk personnel not at all friendly appearing to be bothered when checking in. Bed frame bigger than mattress resulting in stubbed toes 4times & gash on shin once. Curtains wasn’t hung on rod properly allowing light to illuminate our room (we were able To rehang then curtain to allow darkness for sleeping. Gave 3 stars due to central location (we are 73 & 80. Walking over 11,000 steps a day was no problem). Enjoyed our stay for the most part.

Good location. Bamboo hotel is very run down. Overall good price for the location. Room’s cleanliness when we arrived was poor. Room is functional but could use some work and serious cleaning. TV is equipped with streaming apps (Netflix, Disney+ etc.).

Enjoyed my stay. AC was very quiet. Had an issue with the washer on the 12th floor but not the condo owner’s fault. The building is old & could use some updating but the location is great. Very central & walking around Waikiki was easy. Would have been nice to have a small pot for boiling eggs & some wineglasses in the unit. Met the owner who was very nice & friendly.

Communication was impeccable!

First off I want to thank Mark for answering our questions and concerns through this whole process in a very timely manner. Staff at Bamboo was most friendly. I gave a 4 for property just because some furniture needs to be tightened up a bit. All in all it was good experience visiting Waikiki. Mahalo@

The boutique hotel is nice, location is great. The room could use some TLC. We tried several times to get beach chairs and they did respond but never got any. We finally gave up trying. It’s Hawaii how hard is it to supply beach chairs.

Room is extremely small and it was dirty.

Overall experience was poor unfortunately. I was told over the phone I would get a parking spot for my vehicle. When I arrived parking was not offered so I was told I’d have to park a few blocks away and pay daily rates. Upon entry to the room I noticed it was very small. There was visible dirt under the mini fridge ad day in top, the table in the room had visible saturation in the compressed wood and it was bumpy and raised from not being cleaned properly. Not a big deal to some I know but for what I’m paying for the room I’d like it to be a clean room with no issues. I’m currently waiting for a refund of half of what I paid that was submitted by the property manager.

Great location and comfortable stay

We enjoyed our time. Check-in was very simple. The room was clean, the furniture is a bit old. However, the bed slept comfortably. We loved that we were in walking distabce to everything. The little kitchenette was very helpful. We rented a car to go on the other side of the island because uber was costly. The amount to pay for parking was onsite is to much. I sent the host a message and they offered several options which were helpful. Overall, we had a great time and the room was good.

Location location location!

Couldn’t ask for a better space! 2 blocks from the beach straight down to Duke’s statue! Perfect size for 2. Really appreciated the beach chairs! Such good food close by, we really didn’t use the kitchen. The pool was a peaceful oasis tucked in all the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. Great poke shop on the corner -Maguro Spot- and delicious coffee and açaí bowls directly east -ALO. Would definitely stay here again!
