Big Cedar Lake, 125 feet of sandy frontage, beautiful shore, sunsets, spacious
Hello and thanks for your interest. You want the best spot on the lake, you will get the best spot on the lake! Anyone who is/has been involved in lake living, it's all about the location, frontage, and of course the lake itself of where you swim, boat, and play. Please E-mail with any questions you may have after you read below.
3 bedroom home on the "Gold Coast" (east side) of Big Cedar Lake. The property is very private and sits on a 2 acre lot. It was totally remodeled in 2018. The lake frontage/shoreline is 125 feet out the backdoor of the house. You'll always be warm and not chilled as this side of the lake has the afternoon sun, which is very important, unless of course it's a 100 degrees, but no worries if it is, we have you covered with shade and umbrellas, too.
The entire portion of the lake off the property has a wonderful hard/sandy bottom and depth from three to eight feet in all areas off the shoreline, where you would typically swim, etc. No weeds and very clear water (This area is considered one of the best shorelines on the lake.) Swimming, views, and sunsets are exceptional from the shoreline and/or deck on top of the boathouse. Very easy access to the lake as you are not high and very little stairs/incline to the shore. The Shoreline is very private and very easy access to get into the water.
Bring your camera as pictures will have backdrops to die for. Dry and updated boathouse and modern pier (For up to two boats) are fantastic along with included "lake toys" noodles, rafts, inner tubes, goggles, etc. Swimming raft anchored in water, 4 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, floats, games, corn hole (bags) , etc. all for your use. You can even sit in the boathouse for some shade and be just 5 feet from the water or if it rains/drizzles. (Change area, electric, refrigerator, etc. all in the nice and clean boathouse!)
Exceptional Biking and hiking trails are just a few miles away (Ice Age Trails) and great walking/running just off the property. It's a very spacious and It feels like you are "up north" as you enter the private drive and you will not be "crowded" due to size of the property. Neighbors on each side are 100-200 feet away on the shoreline and property. There is a 100 plus year old vacant cottage (Used for storage) next door to the property, which is really cool to see.
The home has a beautiful sun room that faces the lake and gives you the feeling of floating on the water! Kitchen has all new appliances and plenty of kitchenware. The living room, bedrooms, bathroom are in beautiful condition and "not lived in". There is no personal belongings in the house and it's cleaned by a professional maid service between renters with professional/commercial cleaning products. Central air, nice windows w/great breeze, ceiling fans, storage, etc. There are two smart TV's, WiFi, cable, movies, games, wireless speaker, etc. all included. Beautiful and comfortable outdoor furniture for the shoreline/pier and the deck on top of boathouse has very nice patio furniture for hanging out, "boat watching", meals, relaxing etc. Outdoor Gas Grill, too!
Bring your boat (Secluded private Launch is 2 miles away with no restrictions.) You can drop your boat and drive trailer back to the house. There is plenty of parking on the property for several cars and trailers. If you don't have a boat, you can rent a pontoon on the lake from House of Heileman's and/or from the Milwaukee area. House of Heileman rents pontoons from half days to a week. (The pier will be able to handle any size boat and also great area to fish and relax from. It's very high end and modern!)
Once you book and need something or have any requests for things, we could help as we have a place just a few doors away.
Plenty of restaurants to choose from on the water if you stay on the lake or if you go into town, you're a 10 minute drive to West Bend with plenty of things to do including their highly rated Farmers Market, restaurants, golf, movies, shopping, etc. The award winning Timmer's restaurant is a 5 minute car ride, 15 minute walk, or a few minutes by boat! However, why go out, you have the best spot on the lake if you cook!
By renting this property, you will be experiencing the "best of the best" that Big Cedar has to offer as far where you are on the lake and we'll make your stay so memorable, that you will want to come back year after year. We would welcome the opportunity to show the property to you before you rent and answer any questions. 414-333-4917. No pets, smoking, campfires, and fireworks.

Such a perfect home on the lake for our family vacation. We spent hours outside everyday swimming, fishing, reading and relaxing. Kim and Greg were the bests hosts and so easy to communicate with during our stay.

Wonderful renters and hope they come back. Would recommend them for any place they may choose
This is such a beautiful and comfortable property on a gorgeous spot on the lake. Our family of four with two kids 4 and under loved our time swimming in the lake, taking the kayaks for a whirl and relaxing in the hammock. The hosts were wonderful and thoughtful with the details and the house was immaculate. We are so grateful for the hospitality and will definitely be back again!

Amy/Family were great to have and would highly suggest them for anywhere they may travel too, etc.
This was our second year in a row at this lake house. It has it all. Great lakefront property, outstanding views, all the supplies for your time on the water. The owners take meticulous care of this wonderful property.
A great summer weekend at the lake requires a few key things - a clean and comfortable house; a clear lake to play in; and a lakefront presence that is fun for both the sunbathers and the swimmers. This lake property and its wonderful hosts have it all covered!

Fantastic renters and highly recommend them. Communication was great and our place was left in perfect shape.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. You can't beat the location and view, and the array of lake "toys" provided was fantastic. The home was perfectly comfortable for our family, the kitchen was well stocked with needed utensils and dishes, and the smooth and friendly communication with Kimberly and Greg was top notch. We hope to return next time we are in West Bend!

The Zimmer's were a 5 star renter! Perhaps the best we have ever had. The house was left in mint condition and great people. Highly recommend them!
This is a beautiful lake home. You should book without hesitation. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. We had 5 adults and the cottage was very spacious. We are looking forward to booking again. Thanks for opening your home to us Greg & Kimberly!

Thank you and great to have you back and hope to see you again in the future. Thanks for staying!!!
This was our 3rd summer at this property. Owners make it very easy to just show up and enjoy. All the lake toys available. Great shore line for lounging by the water with clear soft bottom.
We had a great time at the house. It was the perfect fit for our family. The water is extremely clear and shallow so ideal for kids of all ages to enjoy! The deck above the boathouse is a perfect spot for the adults to hangout and watch the kids play in the water. The house is very clean and well kept. It’s located in a great spot on the lake. Will stay here again!
What a wonderful property on Big Cedar! Close to West Bend and Slinger but who wants to go there when you can relax at the lakefront. Swimming, fishing and kayaking were the highlights! And of course, relaxing! WiFi was perfect for both work and college students online.
We had a wonderful stay and hope to return! Our hosts Kimberly and Greg were terrific and so accommodating. It was truly a great family vacation.

We would highly recommend Jane/family for any future places they may travel too , was a perfect renter and hope they return in future.
We had the best time on our vacation and didn't want to leave. The house is immaculate, organized, and had all of the amenities. Greg is a friendly host with great communication. The dock made swimming easy and there is even a little raft to swim to. We'll be back!
Our second stay and just as wonderful as the first. Our hosts Greg and Kimberly were great and very hospitable.& their property works perfectly for us as we enjoy our time on the lake. Days were spent swimming, fishing and kayaking and enjoying the deck overlooking the lake.
The house has everything we needed to BBQ and cook meals but close enough to many supper clubs. This year we tried a pontoon boat rental on the lake which was awesome also. We hope to return and only wish we could stay longer!
This was our second stay at this beautiful property on Big Cedar Lake. The house and location were perfect for our family of four and we loved being right on the lake in the summer. The hosts were responsive, thoughtful, friendly and created a lovely and functional space for a lake getaway. Our kids especially loved the hammock and fishing right off the dock. We all enjoyed and appreciated the use of the the water equipment like the kayak and tube. Truly a wonderful experience on one of our favorite lakes! Thank you Greg and Kimberly! We hope to be back again in the future!
Lovely property - beautiful lake - excellent hosts
It goes without saying that the location is excellent - the lake is gorgeous, sunsets are beautiful and it's private yet convenient to restaurants and stores. The house was super clean and even during covid we felt 100% comfortable staying there.
The hosts were extremely accommodating and kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay.
I visited with my husband, but it would be a fantastic property for a family - kids would love the lake living! The house was recently remodeled, is very roomy and filled with comfortable furniture. I was working during the vacation so was nice to have strong cell service and wifi service.
We can't wait to go back!

Fantastic couple and took amazing care of the property. One of the best we have had! Couldn't ask for a better situation.
The lakehouse is even better in person than what you see in the pictures online! Renovated with a modern twist. Spacious. Access to cable tv and an assortment of movies for a rain day along games. Plenty to do both inside and outside. The amenities of this property are all encompassing to lake life…kayaks, paddle boards, water raft, outdoor seating, grill, etc…and the deck will be your meeting place and eating place. We had an amazing 4th of July weekend and would rent again in a heart beat!
