The property has 4 private individual villas each with breathtaking views of the bay. The Seahorse Villa is a 2 Bed/1 Bath unit located right on a stretch of a secluded beach in the world-famous Magens Bay. This private St. Thomas vacation villa rental offers a world of natural beauty and serenity to discerning travelers. Nestled amid lush vibrant flowers and tropical trees with an enormous vista of shimmering bay waters right at your disposal, this is the perfect oasis for discovering the true meaning of a Caribbean paradise. In addition to the peaceful seclusion provided by the villa, guests will find the vibrant nightlife, charming boutiques, and fine dining restaurants of St. Thomas just twenty minutes away from home. Whatever brings you to St. Thomas, once you stay with us you will join the many number of our guests who return and tell their friends and relatives, "Stay at Villa Eau Claire. It was extraordinary."

This villa measures 1,000 square feet and is situated at a small elevation just above the sandy beach, accessible via a short stairway. Inside a spacious living room has been comfortably furnished for leisurely afternoons spent indoors, and a kitchen has been well-equipped for your convenience. A wraparound deck runs the length of the unit, offering premier al fresco living/dining experiences – especially beautiful when the sun sets each night.

This villa has two bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate our guests, an ideal oasis for a mother/daughter vacation or two friends traveling together to St. Thomas. The first bedroom features a plush king bed, while the second has a queen bed.
Villa Eau Claire has undergone recent renovations to the property. Freshly painted, beautiful new landscaping, outdoor lighting, and new decor make this villa relaxing and enjoyable. The villas are large and inviting and the bedrooms private and peaceful. Once you have experienced this idyllic location you will return year after year. The warm Caribbean breezes that gently blow through each villa make air conditioning unnecessary.

Beautiful location. Exactly as advertised! The private beach is so perfect! Rick is a wonderful host and his commutation and videos explaining everything was very much appreciated. Will definitely be staying here again. Magen’s Bay is our favorite!

We ended up leaving after one day! The unit in general was not clean. The blinds that weren't broken were slimey, The bathroom was not clean, and there was a dead snake in one of the rooms. The AC in the living room did not work, and as a result the condo never cooled down to a comfortable temp. The private beach isn't a beach at all. It's a series of slippery rocks at the waters edge. The balcony view is great, but you can get a view anywhere on the island. I would not recommend this unit, there are so many better options.

While our instinct is to explain some of the circumstances surrounding the issues you encountered, ultimately, what matters most is that you, our guest, did not have the experience we strive to provide. As the owner, I take responsibility for that, and I’m genuinely sorry that your stay fell short of your expectations. I do want to assure you that the cleanliness concerns you described have not been typical of our experience with the property. Julia and her cleaning team take great pride in their work and have consistently done an excellent job caring for the villa, so I was disappointed to hear your comments. We have shared your feedback with the team and will be paying particular attention to these areas going forward. Regarding the air conditioning, you very kindly brought the issue in the main living area to my attention upon your arrival. We immediately contacted our AC company, and the unit has since been repaired. I appreciate you letting us know, as we would not have been aware of the problem otherwise. I only wish we had been given more time to address the issue while you were still at the property, as our goal is always to respond quickly when a guest brings a problem to our attention. As for the shoreline, the character of the beachfront can vary depending on weather, tides, and ocean conditions. I can only suspect that there may have been a swell in the bay that washed some of the sand away. Beach conditions can change from time to time, including periods when wave activity moves or washes away sand. We understand that not every property is the right fit for every guest, and we are sorry that Villa Eau Claire did not meet your expectations. While criticism is never easy to read, we genuinely appreciate the feedback. It gives us an opportunity to look closely at the guest experience and continue improving what we do. Over the years, we have stayed at four other properties on St. Thomas prior to Villa Eau Claire, and this one is the best! The views and pocket beach are outstanding and the interior is exactly as advertised. Communication with Rick was great and even though other units were also occupied, it felt like we had the property to ourselves. The beach and waterfront decks are great places to watch the turtles that swim by and the pelicans diving to catch fish. If you’re into a chill experience away from the hustle and bustle of Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook, this is the place for you. We will be coming back!

Paradise found

Beautiful villa overlooking Magen's Bay offered the perfect amount of solitude and relaxation. We spent our days relaxing in the sun and snorkeling with sea turtles, rinse and repeat.

Rick was a great host. Responded promptly to any questions we had. He would text us to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything. We could see the sea turtles swim from are balcony. Absolutely gorgeous spot on Megan’s Bay!

Great Island Location

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. The view of Magens Bay is striking as well as the convenience of direct beach access It is our favorite place to stay on St Thomas

Rare waterfront location on Magen’s Bay

This place was in a great location with beautiful views. For VI first timers they conveniently meet you at the airport to drive to the place which was awesome. Owner was super accommodating, found snorkel gear for us and showed us around the island a bit. Great place!

Best Experience Ever

It was our first time coming to St. Thomas and we couldn’t have picked a better spot to stay! With the private beach access in Magen’s Bay, we felt like it was paradise! The property was so quiet and quaint, we felt like it was a home away from home. We loved waking up to the sting rays and swimming with all the sea turtles in the crystal clear water.

Perfect getaway! Villa was just as described ... and more! Beautiful postcard view of blue water and white sand from the balcony. Super easy access to the beach. Great value for such an amazing location! We will definitely come back!

Breathtaking view

We loved our stay! Couldn't have been happier with the location, secluded and peaceful. We saw sea turtles everyday, Little Magens beach was private and perfect for snorkeling. The view from our balcony was truly breathtaking. Alot of stairs but well worth it

A great find!

Fantastic. 6 days of relaxing, snorkeling, dining, resting. The island has a great pace, plenty of time for reading, hiking, swimming with the turtles, and a day trip to St. John. The accommodations were just excellent. Hosts are available and responsive, but not obtrusive in any way. We’ll be back.

Villa Eau Claire guests will enjoy direct access to a secluded "pocket" beach and also within a short walking distance through the water to our World famous Magens Bay beach. From the house you can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, and much more. Villa Eau Claire is a beautiful multi-unit villa with its own private beach access.

The (4)villas are surrounded by flower and fruit trees, which make it a tropical paradise unto its own.

Villa Eau Claire is located on the beautiful Magens Bay. Magens Bay is known for its tranquil and warm waters. The bay is filled with many varieties of sea life, and is an amazing snorkeling adventure.
