GREAT place to stay!

Splendid fall getaway

This lovely property with a view of Clear Lake was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Spotlessly clean, spacious and welcoming, it was all we could ask for!

Everything we needed

We were gathering with extended family in a nearby town, so were primarily using the house to sleep and bathe, but we could have spent more time there. We would stay at this house again.

Great property with great location

Excellent, super clean property with great setup and nice amenities. Just a short walk away from surf ballroom and bars/restaurants. Host was very kind and accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. We had a great stay!

Great stay

Property was very nice and in a good location so my kids could ride back and forth to town on their bikes. We are first time visitors to Clear Lake. We rented a boat and tubed the 2nd day. It's a neat town and great for a short getaway.

Cute, clean and comfy!

My husband and I and two of our adult sons stayed here for two nights to attend a wedding reception for my nephew. The beds were comfy, the house is decorated nicely and feels like home, much better than staying in a hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and if we ever come back to town we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Quiet neighborhood

Loved the house. Nice and clean; very well organized. Kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials for preparing meals. Enjoyed grilling on deck and patio furniture. Neighborhood was quiet and nice walk to the lake.

Great stay!

The house was great! We had a wonderful stay with our adult children and two month old baby. The beds were comfortable. We had plenty of room for the seven of us. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything you could ever need. The house was very clean. We enjoyed the space inside and the outside deck. We were within walking distance of downtown. Would definitely stay again.

Friends Getaway

Four high school friends from LONG ago visited Clear Lake for a chance to catch up and see a town that was new to all of us. The setting and walkability was perfect. The hosts left easy to follow directions and gave wonderful hints about the area. There are quite a few stairs so this place is best for people who can climb stairs. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this home.

Great Weekend in Clear Lake!

My husband and I drove down from Sioux Falls and met my sister and her husband at Clear Lake for the weekend and to attend a concert at the Surf Ballroom. This house was perfect for us. The house was easy to find and the self check-in was convenient, as was the location, a block from the lake and a block or two from the Surf. The house is beautifully decorated, with an open kitchen, dining and living area and a sunny deck just steps away. The beds were comfy and the showers were great. I would recommend this property highly for couples or families. Just be aware that there are steps into the house from all entrances. The kitchen was well stocked and even had a few extras we appreciated. I highly recommend the Patisserie next to the Surf for your morning pastries.

Wonderful meeting place for girls weekend!

A group of high school classmates found Clear Lake to be a great meeting point for a girls weekend. The house is in a great location in close proximity to downtown shops, restaurants and bars. The owner was very responsive and communicated everything we needed to know ahead of time. There was 5 of us and we had plenty of room to hang out and enjoy the house. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Great place to stay - would highly recommend!

Family getaway

We've stayed in alot of places in Clear Lake o er the years. Your home was fantastic for two families of 4! We appreciated the upstairs with the bathroom. I would suggest a window covering on the window at the top of the stairs. The upstairs bath doesn't have a fan, so it would have been nice to have a window cover so we could open the bathroom door for ventilation.

First but not last visit to Clear Lake.

My husband and I along with 2 other couples (friends and fellow travelers) wanted to do a trip not far from our homes in the Twin Cities. We chose Clear Lake and Mason City. The rental was in a perfect location for us to downtown Clear Lake and 20 min. easy drive to Mason City. Also located in a quiet walkable neighborhood a block from the lake. Perfect for our evening walks. We six also enjoyed the outdoor deck as well. The rental was an easy walk to the Surfside Ballroom and the outdoor memorial to Buddy, Richie and Big Bopper. The kitchen was well supplied and really liked that all the cupboards and drawers were labeled with what was in each one. This home met all our needs and we 6 would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Clear Lake. "The Minnesota Roadies"

Gathering of Friends

There were seven of us friends for 35-40 years. Clear Lake was a central meeting point for us. We enjoyed our time so much. Ate, laughed, shopped, wandered, (did I mention laughed)? Your house was the perfect size for us and the location was great as well. We walked everywhere. We’re hoping to return!

Why they chose this property

This property is an ideal location for us. Located close to the surf and within walking distance to downtown. We love floating in the water at the public dock and watching the people go back and forth on North Shore Drive. The neighbors are welcoming and friendly. This property is nice because of the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, with 3 full bathrooms getting ready for the day takes no time at all! Plus, with multiple levels you don't feel like your on top of each other!
