Co-owners Jacob, Nicole, Isaac, and Emily Hackman are four cousins who love Clear Lake and have spent many weekends here in the summer growing up.

The idea for “Norb’s Nest”—our vacation/rental home—came about a few years ago at Christmas while all gathered at our Grandpa Norbert’s house for the holidays. While gabbing over a glass of our aunt’s homemade wine, it came to light that the four of us separately had interest in acquiring a rental property. Flash forward many months and many conference calls later, we acquired our Clear Lake home and began creating what is now known as Norb’s Nest.

Our Grandpa Norbert’s home has always been a gathering place for our family. A cozy, welcoming home full of laughter. As new hosts, we wanted to extend a similar energy, offering a gathering place for family and friends. We curated our property to serve small and larger groups and facilitate people coming together. We would love family or groups of friends to make our property their annual gathering space—that special getaway that everyone looks forward to each year.
