About this property

The Little House On The Prairie

Mountain house, located in a protected area, in the middle of meadows and forests, near the ski resort of Roubion, it is the starting point for many walks or bike rides.

Calm and peaceful. Ideal for large families (4-5 children) or 2 small families.
The house is composed of:
• main room with American kitchen, fully equipped (dishwasher, fridge, oven, toaster, electric hob and raclette machine), satellite TNT.
• a mezzanine with 140cm double bed and single bed.
• a bedroom with a 160cm double bed and a twin bed.
• bathroom (washing machine, towel heater), separate WC.
• Large wooden terrace for your breakfast and sunny meals
 • parkings
 The location: The house is located near the Roubion les Buisses ski resort. The resort has developed mountain biking activities on the ski slopes during the summer. The small village of Roubion offers shops such as a grocery store with local specialties, good restaurants ... Roubion is the starting point for several beautiful walks, if you want to enjoy walks and biking in the Mercantour. Valberg and Beuil are nearby by car, to enjoy multi-activities in summer and winter, restaurants, etc.

Excellente semaine passée dans ce chalet implanté dans un bel environnement. L'endroit est calme, la maison bien située pour les randonnées (la région est splendide) et très bien équipée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil et la prévenance des hôtes. Nous conseillons sans réserve.

La campagne à la montagne, une découverte bucolique

Nous pensions déjà connaître plutôt bien tout ce secteur, mais le site de Pré de Villars et ce gîte en particulier constituent une belle surprise. On trouve là le seul espace (relativement) plat de cette vallée montagneuse, avec un décor très champêtre; ce gîte porte parfaitement son nom. Contrastant avec le tumulte et la chaleur de la Riviera, le calme et l’air frais et léger, à 1500m, permettent de bien se ressourcer. L'accueil est particulièrement sympathique et prévenant. Le gîte est impeccable, bien agencé et bien équipé. Le spacieux garage fermé (mais là on ne risque rien…) permet d'entreposer des vélos ou du matériel de montagne. Au départ du gîte, nombre d'agréables randonnées pédestres et de beaux circuits à vélo (route, gravel, VTT, tout est possible) sont envisageables. Nous n’avons d’ailleurs pas utilisé notre voiture durant notre séjour. Des restaurants sont accessibles, notamment à pied (si l’on accepte de marcher 5 à 6 km A/R avec un peu de dénivelé), à Roubion ou bien - en version clairement gastronomique - au Col de la Couillole. Nous reviendrons certainement.

Prachtige locatie

Het was een prachtige plek, midden in de natuur met zicht op mooie bergen. In de avond lopen de herten voor je huis. Een heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen. Mooie wandelingen kunnen maken vanuit het huis. Ook voor onze hond was het een fijne omgeving.

Ferienhaus auf der Wiese

Nach einem herzlichen Empfang durch den Gastgeber und der guten Erklärung des Hauses, haben wir uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist super sauber und sehr komplett eingerichtet. Auf der großen Terasse hatten wir den ganzen Tag Sonne, aber keinen Motorenlärm. Ein herrlicher Ausgangspunkt für Touren in dieser beeindruckenden Landschaft. Vielen Dank Fam. Braganti

Un chalet en pleine nature, tout confort

Au milieu d'une prairie, au cœur des montagnes, une vraie parenthèse en pleine nature. La maison est tout confort, on y est tout simplement bien! Des hôtes attentionnés qui font tout pour que vous y soyez bien! Tout est très propre et la literie confortable. L'équipement est au top! Proche des villages de montagne vous pouvez y faire vos emplettes et trouver les épiceries et restaurants, avec des produits de qualité et un service au top. L'authenticité est de mise. Si vous aimez la nature, c'est magique.

Super ausgestattetes Haus mitten im grün

Wir waren zu zweit mit 2 Hunden. Super freundlicher empfang, im Haus ist alles was man braucht, die Lage ist perfekt zum abschalten, viel Ruhe und Natur, sehr guter Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Gîte bien équipé et très au calme en pleine montagne proche de très belles randonnées et balades. Pas de wifi, donc lâcher prise total pour se retrouver au plus proche de la nature environnante et époustouflante ! Souvenirs de très beaux moments.

Charmante maison dans les prés

La maison est située dans les prés proche de forêt et des sentiers de randonnées idéale pour les adeptes du calme comme nous. Bien agencée, et pratique nous avons beaucoup aimé cette semaine à notre rythme. La terrasse permet de prendre les repas en extérieur avec vie sur les montagnes. Grandiose !

Phantastisch, ruhig, Blick

3 Wochen im Haus von Hervé und Sugako - gerne wären wir länger geblieben. 1. Sugako und Hervé haben uns einen supernetten Empfang bereitet und waren bei Fragen um Haus und Umgebung immer da (Sugako, merci pour le tip de rando "Lacs de Vens", merveilleux). 2. Das Haus: ich weiß gar nicht wo ich beginnen soll, Ausstattung, Küche, Logistik(Wasch-/Spülmittel etcetera, große Kühl-Gefrierkombi), alles da und gut gepflegt. Bad und Betten perfekt (das Bett im Mezzanin bietet großes Kino: Wolken und Sterne durch's Dachfenster, ein Lieblingsort). 3. Große Terrasse mit Rundumblick in die umgebenden Berge, abends immer mit Rehen (Fernglas ist hier im Mercantour immer nützlich). Und der Titel des Hauses "Kleines Haus in der Wiese" ist Programm: rundum blühende Pracht (Mai/Juni) mit 1000en Schmetterlingen und anderen freundlichen Gesellen (übrigens: Keine Mücken :-)) 4. Umgebung: Unglaublich schön, oft schroff und wild. Im office du tourisme in Roubion unbedingt besorgen: die Hefte des Departements Alpes Maritimes mit Randos um Roubion (nah), und Moyenne bzw. Haute Tinée. Sehnsüchtige Grüße in den Mercantour, Conni und Manni

Zeer fijne vakantiewoning op een fantastische locatie

Wij hebben een zeer fijn verblijf gehad in deze vakantiewoning. Prachtige natuur en gelegen in een zeer rustige omgeving waarbij je steevast wordt begroet door de roep van een koekoek. Ook de omgeving is erg aantrekkelijk waarbij de Gorges du Cians erg mooi zijn om doorheen te rijden. Omdat wij in het voorseizoen op vakantie zijn geweest, waren de stoeltjesliften helaas overal gesloten. Er zijn echter voldoende mogelijkheden om de bergen al wandelend te verkennen. Hou er rekening mee dat voor de wat grotere supermarkten je al snel een uurtje onderweg bent. Het huisje zelf was voorzien van allerlei comfort. Erg compleet in de uitrusting met een heerlijke houtkachel en een enorme voorraad aan hout. Fijne douche, lekker praktische keuken, mooi veranda met relaxstoelen waar je heerlijk kunt genieten van de zon. Bij aankomst werden we opgewacht door onze gastvrouw die uitgebreid de tijd nam om e.e.a. toe te lichten. Al met al een hele fijne week gehad en zeer aan te bevelen als je wilt genieten van rust en ruimte in het prachtige Zuid Frankrijk.

immersion dans les Alpes

La maison est à la fois typique et bien équipée. L'intérieur est propre et soigné. Les soirées au coin du poêle à bois sont très agréables au printemps. L'extérieur est un grand espace non délimité où les enfants ont tout le loisir d'aller jouer. On peut voir passer des biches et pousser de magnifiques crocus. Les propriétaires sont très soucieux du bien-être des locataires et sont très accueillants. Merci pour ce séjour.
