Newly remodeled 50 yards from beach. Brand new Kitchen Master Bedroom & Bath

Your family will enjoy your stay at our beautiful contemporary home in South Bethany Beach, Delaware. Brand new kitchen, master bedroom and master bathroom and powder room along with a newly renovated additional master suite with own bath.

The reverse floor plan will allow you to view the ocean from the Deck and master bedroom. The house is designed with lots of windows and deck space so you can enjoy the sun coming up in the morning over the ocean and the sun setting in the west over the bay. It‘s just a few steps to the beach so no need to worry about carrying everything at once for your day at the beach. Come back and grab lunch and you will be back on the beach in less than a minute. The upstairs great room with the cedar cathedral ceiling expands the entire width of the house and connects to the kitchen with a nice bar/eating area.

Our family loves to play games on the game table, watch TV and movies or read in the sun room, all within eyesight of each other so no one misses out on the fun. At dinner the big dining table can seat at least 10 people so lots of family fun at dinner time.
South Bethany Beach is one of the most family friendly beaches you will ever have the pleasure of vacationing at. Life guards during the busy months will keep you safe but there is nothing wrong with having a cocktail on the beach while you enjoy the day. There is usually a game of volleyball nearby or you can fish all day at the state beach just 100 yards south of the house. You also have plenty of off road parking on both sides of the house so invite the rest of the family to come and visit.

Downtown Bethany Beach is just one mile north with its family boardwalk, great shopping and lots of fantastic restaurants. Ocean City, Maryland is a few miles south and Rehobeth Beach Delaware is just 13 miles north. Ocean City is known for its monster Boardwalk and hundreds of great restaurants and Rehobeth is known for its fabulous night life and shopping at the outlet malls.

Hurricane Erin meant missing a few beach days but the roominess of the house made it easy to spread out. The close proximity to the beach also made it easy for walks and beach time whether sunny or stormy. Any questions we had before our stay were answered quickly and check in was so easy. The house and location were great!

Very attractive, nicely decorated, kitchen was well stocked with everything necessary for big meal preparation. Owner very responsive and pleasant to correspond with. Convenient to beach and vacation attractions for teens. Really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely wonderful vacation home

The house was fantastic. Lots of space, very close to the beach, great hosts who were very responsive and attentive. We had a group of 7 adults and 3 kids and everyone agreed that this was perfect. Greatly enjoyed the fire pit and grill and the cute lounge spaces all over. Very conducive to hanging out with friends for a much needed summer break.

Our family has rented this home for 2 years and thoroughly enjoy this place and the neighborhood. The owners put forth a lot of effort in keeping this home in great shape and are extremely responsive. There's plenty of room for our 3 brothers' families to hang together with nice furniture and artwork to enjoy. We have been coming to South Bethany for almost 20 years. The lifeguards on this beach have been fantastic in finding a lost nephew and also helping our son after a bad spill on his board. Combining this with a wonderful oceanblock home creates the setting for a relaxing vacation. It's so hard to leave on the last day!!

Perfect summer vacation - more than we could ever have imagined!

Our family has vacationed every summer in Delmarva and has been searching for the perfect summer home. We love to cook and be together. This house exceeded our expectations. We found the perfect house!

We have been renting this house for the past 4-5 years and will continue to rent as long as they will have us! The location is great and the layout works great for our extended family! We go to the beach every year for a family reunion and this house works out just perfectly for us! It's close to the beach (which is not super crowded by the way) and also close to Fenwick and Bethany Boardwalk. The place is cozy and beachy and the owners have always been very responsive with any questions we have had in the past! They also continue to do upgrades to the house each year. We just love it! There is also ample parking which is helpful for visitors. I would highly recommend renting this place.

We have been coming back to 5 Indian Street for more than a decade. There is just no way you will not enjoy this house. It is in a perfect location, has a great layout (with fantastic great room 3 stories up), always clean, and features constant updates. The owners make every accommodation for their guests. In fact, you feel that you are not in a rental property, but borrowing the owners' house!

Fabulous Cottage

In 2013, 2014 and 2015 we rented the McGrath cottage at 5 Indian Street in South Bethany, DE. We have also reserved it for our vacation in 2016. It is spacious, clean and nicely furnished, perfect for our family of four generations. Equally important is the gracious communication, care and consideration extend by the owner. Very quiet, peaceful locaction.

Very peaceful and retlaxing. Short walk to the beach. Very happy with our stay. We would stay there again as the house has all the comforts of home. The house is maintained by the owner. We would recommend it highly to everyone.

A great house for families

We rented this house for the week of 7 July 2012. There were 10 of us, two grandparents, two children/spouse, and five grandchildren (ages 9 and below). The house worked out beautifully for the group. We all had plenty of room to be together and be apart. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked almost all of our meals there. It is just a short walk to the beach which was fantastic for all. The house is very well maintained, had everything we were looking for, and the owners were very easy to work with.

Best Rental Property in South Bethany

This is the ultimate find! After first renting here, I stopped looking anywhere else. The house is spacious -five bedrooms that comfortable sleeps 10 - plus all of the kids always want to camp out in the family room - which allows for multiple families to rent! It has a GREAT location - only 4 houses back from the beach - and is convenient to downtown Bethany. The house is very clean and fully equiped with all amenities. I cant say enough good things about this house. You will love it!!

My family has been vacationing in Bethany Beach for over 20 years. This is the best house ever. It was clean, beautiful, and the location was great. The kitchen and dining area was big enough for all of us to eat together. As an added bonus, the sunroom was perfect for all the readers in the group. South Bethany Beach House

This house made our vacation. It was perfect, not only in its great layout but also it's location. We went there for a family vacation and my three young children didn't want to leave. Being so close to the beautiful beach was fantastic. It was well maintained and extremely clean. The owner could not have been easier to work with - very helpful. Great house - highly recommend it!!!

A Great Vacation

This is a fabulous house! Perfect location, very clean, great beach location, the owners definitely take pride in their home and care about the comfort of their renters. We hope it will be available for our next visit.

We have built many houses in Bethany and decided to keep this gem. We love it in South Bethany. We use the house in the Fall because the water is still warm and the crowds are small. Call or email any time for more details.

Why they chose this property

I have been in love with Bethany since 1980 when I was just out of college. The most family friendly beach on the East Coast. Bethany Surf Shop is our favorite place to shop for over 40 years.

What makes this property unique

Great neighborhood and lots of beach toys at the house for the kids. The reverse floor plan will help you enjoy the sound of the waves and the sunset to the west off of the reading room we just refurnished with brand new wicker chairs and tables as well as new Amish deck furniture.
