Cabin, Dog Friendly, Hot Tub, Views, 6 acres, Wheelchair Accessible
This home provides so much of what Colorado has to offer. The setting is quiet with amazing sunsets and a wide open views, including of mountains. The kitchen provides lots of convenient work space on granite counter tops. It has a gas stove and an island that seats two people. The kitchen opens to a family room with a lovely hearth that holds a wood burning stove. Abundant windows provide lots of Colorado sunshine. One of the bathrooms has a large roll in shower with two shower heads. There are huge decks that are on 3 sides. Two of these decks provide wheelchair accessibility during the summer (but are closed during the winter) and the third one holds a hot tub that faces west to take advantage of the views. (This deck is not wheelchair accessible at any time). The property is easy to get to and is within easy driving distance to many attractions such as Florissant Fossil Beds, Mueller State Park, Cripple Creek, Royal Gorge, and reservoirs with great fishing. Colorado Springs is a little over an hour away with outstanding places to visit like Garden of the Gods and the Air Force Academy. There are many things to do between our cabin and Colorado Springs, including Woodland Park with lots of restaurants, stores, and activities. Other mountain towns are wonderful to visit during your stay such as Breckenridge - about a 1 1/2 hour drive.

We loved staying here. It was very clean and very pet friendly. I appreciated the host’s curtesy and the easiness of check in and check out. We would definitely stay here again for a quick get away!
This property is everything as advertised! Absolutely loved this cabin. Very clean, wonderful views from the decks, well stocked with all the essentials that you need in the kitchen and bathrooms, the king bed is very comfy, and dont let me forget the relaxing hot tub! The hosts, Jennifer and Dan,were very helpful with any questions that we had and quick to respond. Loved the cabin so much we already booked 2 weeks for next year!
3rd time staying at this cabin/house. Perfect place to stay if you are looking for a nice place that has everything you need, lots of room, hot tub, very quiet location, nice views, and we always see deer on the property in the morning. You won't be sorry if you rent this place.
Everything was as described. Check in was easy, kitchen had everything we needed, bed was comfortable and bathrooms were well stocked. Enjoyed the location as well
My two friends and I fell in love with this property! We hav been getting togher for over 30 years for girls getaway weekends. This was by far one of our favorite places to stay. It is well kept and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing experience. The hottub was amazing and great views. We will be returning next year for sure!
We were there for 2 nights. The first night was snowy and cold and we hot tubbed in it, it was great! The second night was like summer with a gorgeous sunset followed by constellations and planets. The cabin was exceedingly comfortable and the hosts were excellent to us.
2nd time staying here, we can't say enough good words on how we enjoyed our stay, we love our time there, saw deer most mornings, close to Cripple Creek/Lake George/Canon City area, lots of outdoor things to do. I would give this place a 10 if it was possible. No complaints.
We loved the cabin, the hot tub, the wildlife, the location and the view. The only thing I could possibly complain about was none of the knives were sharp enough to cut a steak after we grilled, but that was such a minor inconvenience that we really didn’t care.
Great host Dan and Jennifer. The cabin was beautiful, peaceful, and an amazing view of mountains and nature. I highly recommend and give a 10+ ….when visiting this cabin you will be truly blessed.
We had such a wonderful time in this cabin on the hillside. The cabin is well appointed, with great beds, everything you could need in the kitchen, cable TV, a grill, decks with tables and chairs, breathtaking views across the valley from the living room and decks, clean, and handicap accessible (there were even dog supplies). Jennifer, our host, went above and beyond to help us!
I traveled from Florida with my dog. My daughter and grandkids visited for part of my week long stay. The family enjoyed the accommodations, including the hot tub.
Loved staying at this cabin. Beautiful views from deck and hot tub. Easy to get to local attractions such as the Pike National Forest and the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center.
Great amenities in the house. Would definitely recommend!
We stayed in here with our 3 teenagers and 2 dogs. It was a wonderful house with lots of space. We really enjoyed the hot tub and all the gated off areas for our dogs to be outside safely. The house was very well stocked and clean. We also saw lots of deer near the house. We would definitely stay here again!
This property met our family's expectations for 3 and at times 5 adults. The views, the decks, the space inside, and the deer were great. A nice break from city life, so quiet! Thank you property owners!
Such a sweet cabin to celebrate my birthday with family!
This property was east to find, laid out as described, easy to “check in” (all we needed was a code), and better stalked in the kitchen than any place I’ve ever stayed! There wasn’t a tool, dish, or pan we wanted that wasn’t there. The cabin was neat and provided everything we could have needed. I’d definitely stay there again!
Everything about this cabin met all of our expectations and then some. I cant recall the cabin details expalining that there wasn't any A/C but we were provided with plenty of fans to make up for it. Would definitely recommend this cabin!
We enjoyed a nice walk around the area, had a nice fire in the wood stove, played games and cooked a nice dinner. Slept very well in the comfortable king size bed. And, watched a buck and 6 does walk past the house.
This was a nice peaceful visit. So quiet and serene. We would definitely return. The view is great, awesome for star gazing on a clear night. Nature all around with visits from deer, hummingbirds, hawks and crows. The place was very clean, well-stocked and the hot tub is a bonus. Communications with the host was awesome, friendly and very helpful. Many great things to do and explore nearby. Or just chill out on the deck and hang out.
We really enjoyed this beautiful family cabin. It was perfect for our family. My husband & I took our 9yr & 11 yr old grandsons. The house was very clean. The rooms were perfect for each of us. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife. Property was close enough to go see fun things with the grandkids. Then come back and have a nice peaceful relaxing soak in the hot tub. Dan & Jennifer are wonderful hosts. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your wonderful property!
