Dancing With The Bears - Boogey On Down!

Closed To Arrivals & Departures Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. No Exceptions!

Must Be 21 years of Age or Older to Rent! No Exceptions! The person whose name is on the reservation must be staying at the cabin. No Exceptions!

Dancing With The Bears is a perfect choice for those who do not like traveling up scary mountain roads. Located at the base of Hatcher Mountain, traveling to and from the cabin is easy. If you are coming to the mountains to relax, take in the views of the Smokies, and hike, this cabin is a perfect choice.

As you enter the cabin, you are welcomed by the warmth of the comfortable furnishings in the living-room and the large kitchen - perfect for cooking a romantic dinner for two.
Down the hallway, you will find the 1/2 bath, laundry room, and at the end of the hallway - the bedroom with its private bathroom. Indulge yourself in the jetted indoor tub.

After a day of play in the mountains, relax in the hot tub - located on the screened-in back porch.

Moved to another cabin

We were moved to a very nice house due to an issue with first choice cabin . Not quite a cabin feel but super clean thank you. I have a suggestion on Vrbo rentals how about rating the people who stay who treat your property with respect for better rates in the future. Thanks scott

Didn’t stay at the cabin.

We were given another cabin and I can say that management for the cabins are great. Only negative was not being able to cast my streaming accounts onto the TV’s. Would have been nice. But not a deal breaker.

Great Cabin Getaway

Very nice and clean cabin. Like the privacy. Hot tub was so delightful! Bed was super comfy. Only thing I would suggest is to add some hangers for clothes, and hooks to hang bath towels. Would definitely stay here again and recommend!

Great location

Nice cozy place. Very clean floors. Cabin temperature was easy to control. Television s both worked. Would have been better if there was wifi. A box of Kleenex would have been a nice touch. We left one.we watched for bears, but none visited. In all, avery comfortable and quiet place.

No wifi. Paperwork to reserve with initials on every line was extensive. Tv service of channels were lacking unless you wanted to pay for everything.

Great weekend getaway!

Wonderful place to stay. Very accurate pics from listing. Nestled close enough to pigeon forge or Gatlinburg. Only downside was having no wifi to help make a call due to us having limited service in the area.

Perfect cozy cabin

This cabin was the perfect cozy getaway for our 27th anniversary. The cabin was spotless and just the right size for a couple. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Peace and nature

The cabin was amazing, even had a bear visit me while reading on front porch. So peaceful and lots of privacy. The inside was beautiful and felt like home. Relaxing in the hot tub was perfect to end the night before bed! Awesome and easy check in process will definitely stay next time we are in area.

Mediocre property and neighborhood. No view of the mountains. Bed is lumpy and old. Jacuzzi tub blew out black mold when started. Didn't use it. Hubby got trapped in shower when doors interlocked with each other. Won't stay here again.

Peaceful and quiet.

Nice and quiet place to come back after busy day and relax. Cabin was clean. Kitchen has plenty of dishes and utensils. We like decorations and pine wood on the ceiling and walls. We did not use swimming pool or fishing pond this time. Hot tub water was refilled with fresh water but, filter was dirty and slimy. We did not want to take a chance...Otherwise, we loved the place and planning to come back again.

We had the best time!! The cabin was very clean and beautiful! We did have a couple of recommendations however. First, the little loveseat needs to be replaced, it is torn in a couple of places and rather small. Secondly, the mattress desperately needs to be replaced! I was not comfortable. But, the decor was beautiful, the kitchen was well stocked with items necessary for cooking, the hot tub was divine! We loved having laundry on site, too! The communication

Disappointed

There was no furniture in the living room. Only a broke down love seat. We had to sit at the kitchen table to relax. The water was white from too much softening, undrinkable & had to buy water. Water system backwashes and smells bad. Mattress felt like a box spring & only body pillows to sleep on. The shower is sloped and very hard to stand in while wet. We had to lay towels in it to keep from falling. The community pool/ fishing is at another location entirely no where near the cabin. No bbq grill only an open pit. They should warn that you probably need a higher sitting vehicle to navigate the lane & driveway & that you must haul your trash off to another location. It was so uncomfortable that we cut our trip short and left early.

Anniversary trip

My husband and I stayed here for a week. Although location is secluded we loved it after exploring all day in pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Very clean and relaxing experience.
