Quiet Getaway in the Woods

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was exactly as advertised - very clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. The seclusion gave us the perfect opportunity to unplug and unwind, while not being too far from nearby attractions. Communication with the owners was fantastic! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing and private retreat.

Peaceful and fun!

The cabin was beautiful and comfortable! My son loved the game table and I loved sitting on the deck enjoying the view. It was the perfect distance away from all the attractions. Not too far, but still nice and quiet. The owners were very attentive and have an entire guide book to help plan your vacation. I highly recommend this cabin for your next Smokey Mountain stay!

Really enjoyed our stay!!

This was not our first time staying at this cabin. We liked it so much we came back. If you want privacy this is the cabin for you. The owners are great to deal with. We came up the week after a big snow and then rain. The driveway was very muddy. Thank goodness we had 4-wheel drive. The owners made sure we were ok and didn't need to make other arrangement's. We will be back again.

Peace and quiet

The cabin is a perfect getaway from all the bustle that is Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg (and life lol). I was looking for a secluded place and this cabin provided just that. It was very clean and everything that is listed in the listing. The property manager was quick to reply with any questions I had.

Secluded Bliss!

We loved the seclusion of the cabin. Hot tub was great. We did see a black bear. The arcade 60 was an excellent idea for the cabin. We really enjoyed our cabin experience.

Wears Valley stay for Scottish Festival in Townsend, TN

Very nice cabin and property. Wish that the owners or management group would inspect after cleaners/maintenance. As a property manager myself, I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the outdoor furniture and porches. Even spraying with a water hose would have removed some of the dirt and tracks left on the furniture and porches by previous guests. Several light bulbs were burnt out in the cabin and the table lamp next to the upstairs bed was a fire hazard and a shock hazard due to the light switch being broken off and metal and wiring being exposed. Had to unplug from the wall to get the light to go off, as it was on and burning when we arrived at the cabin.

Secluded Home

Very secluded on a gravel road. Quiet days rocking on the porch. We enjoyed shops in Wears Valley, watching chainsaw carvers, the National Quartet Convention and PawPaw's Catfish resturaunt.

Gypsy Road Cabin

Thanks for providing such a great peaceful cabin to stay in. My wife and I had a great weekend relaxing and getting some much needed time together at the Gypsy Rd cabin. We even enjoyed the visiting bear that cam strolling through while we was enjoying the rocking chairs on the porch. Thanks again.

Fast get away

Thank you so much for the beautiful cabin it was so peaceful and very private! The cabin was very clean and everything was so nice the beds were amazing!! The hot tub was so nice and relaxing we used it every evening! Had such a great time we will definitely be back!! The fire place was really nice and relaxing!! Loved everything about our trip!! Wonderful, Relaxing Stay at Beautiful Cabin

Had a fantastic stay at this cabin for our first ever trip to the Smokies & Dollywood! Location was great - a reasonable drive to Pidgeon Forge with lots of scenic views & cute sites to see on the way. The hot tub (worked perfectly, easy to operate) & arcade were a hit for all! TV & Wifi access worked well, too. Communication with the owners was quick & easy! It was tough to leave, for days afterward, my 4yo kept asking to "go back to the Green Cabin!" Thank you for making our trip a wonderful memorable one!

It was SUPER! Very Easy and Communication with the owner was Great! The house was Wonderful. The only thing I would note is there is no view of the mountains! Tress are cleanly cut back away from the house but the view is strictly Forest Only! We did enjoy our stay but would like to of been able to see a mountain range of some kind.

Best Hosts of All Time

We were only able to stay in the cabin for two nights due to snow, but Stacia and Larry's kindness ensured that we will be back.Just a heads up, the door jam can swell and catch the electronic lock. Pull the door toward you to unlock it from the outside. Otherwise you might go into panic mode because the lock won't turn all the way!The cabin is immaculately clean and exactly as described. We wanted high on the mountain and secluded, and that's exactly what we got. It's hard to find a place that isn't shouldered next to another in the Smokies unless you're willing to pay a LOT, so this really is a diamond in the rough. The view is stunning, the gaming loft is cute and fun, and the hot tub is a dream at the end of a long, cold day. The real gem of Gypsy Road is the hosts, though. We were snowed OUT of the cabin for our third night due to an unexpected storm. Lots of folks were stranded on the mountain, and when we texted Stacia for help, she bent over backwards to provide it. They didn't have another property available that night (she checked), so they PAID FOR A HOTEL for us! That's not hospitality, that's straight up kindness. They also didn't charge us for the extra night our luggage was trapped in the cabin. Come to Gypsy Road when it's warm and dry and you'll have a quiet, romantic getaway. Come when it's cold and you may have an unexpected adventure and a chance to experience some unprecedented kindness from two really great people.
