Enjoy this second-story updated townhome-style condo with expansive views of Horseshoe Bayou! At Our Florida Place, you'll find the living area, dining room, and primary king bedroom offer stunning views of the Choctawhatchee Bay and salt marshes that surround this peaceful neighborhood. Vaulted ceilings throughout the home and skylights in the living area create a sunny and open space. The split bedroom floor plan offers privacy and Heron Walk's location is convenient to pools, Bay activities, and Baytowne Wharf. You'll have easy access to the beach with the included golf cart!

The kitchen shines with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops.  A breakfast bar, a cozy table for two to enjoy a cup of coffee, and a laundry closet with a full-size washer and dryer will ease you into a relaxing vacation in this home away from home. Cookware, dinnerware, glassware, and small appliances are provided for the chef in this well-stocked kitchen, including a Keurig and standard drip coffee maker.
 
Our Florida Place is perfect for entertaining; you'll find a wet bar with a beverage cooler and glassware which will provide the mixologist in your party a convenient spot to shake up sunset cocktails! The high-speed WiFi and a 54" wall-mounted TV will help you feel right at home along with a large dining area that comfortably seats 8 and offers more tranquil views of the surrounding waterways. 
 
The primary King bedroom is spacious and offers lovely views of the natural preserve through the oversized window.  A wall-mounted TV, a large walk-in closet, and a double vanity en-suite bathroom provide plenty of counter space to accommodate. The guest bedroom shares a hall bath and provides plenty of space with two double beds and a window seat.
 
Our Florida Place, located at Heron Walk, is part of the Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort. Enjoy the fun and easy convenience of the 4-passenger golf cart included for true resort living!  Golf, tennis, pools, beach, restaurants, and shops are all within easy reach - just a golf cart ride away!

Sandestin Beach Access Update-
Effective May 1, 2025, Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort has implemented a paid parking policy for all vehicles, including golf carts, at the resort’s beach access point. The daily parking fee is $20, and guests will pay Sandestin directly for parking.

Rental Agreement Requirement-
After booking confirmation, you will receive a Rental Agreement via email, sent as an E-Sign document with required signature fields.
The Rental Agreement must be signed before your arrival instructions are released.

Great place to stay!

This was a great, quiet location close enough to anything else we wanted to do. Golf cart was the perfect added bonus to get us around the resort and to the beach.

McCormick Vacation

Best resort in Destin! And the house was nice and clean. The golf cart was a lot of fun and super handy to get to the beach and Baytown Warf, and fishing easily.

Great Place!!

We all agree that this was a fantastic place to stay. Location is perfect. Amenities were more than sufficient. We loved having access to the golf cart. The perfect location

The townhouse and location are both absolutely perfect! You’re so close to everything you could walk but you don’t have to because the golf cart is available for use. We hopped in and explored every day. We could easily get to the beach and to restaurants. We had an amazing experience!

Wonderful stay!

We had a great stay and it was in a great location within walking distance to our favorite pool. We had one issue with the golf cart which was corrected and management was prompt to getting a replacement in a timely manner. The house was well kept and would stay again! Thank you!

Fabulous Property

This was one of the nicest VRBO’s we have ever stayed in. It was immaculately clean and had wonderful amenities. Very comfortable. The area was great for walking and bird watching. We took an Uber to and from the airport and used the convenient golf cart to get to the beach, pool, restaurants and shopping. I hope to be able to visit this area again and would want this same condo.

Townhouse surprise

This townhouse was definitely the cleanest & perfectly decorated unit we have stayed in. It had everything we needed. Location was awesome. The golf cart was the highlight of the trip. The only downside was the flight of stairs just inside the door. That got old quick!!!!

Condo was lovely, very comfortable

Clean, comfy beds(sofa bed not so much so LOL), nice golf cart for enjoying resort. Property mgr easy to reach. They handled our issues quickly. The only negative was not with Condo or Property Mgr but with Sandestin Resort having major renovations during Spring Break- very poor timing. Our contact with property manager was exceedingly pleasant. We did miss having a balcony and there is a considerable stair case to navigate but the unit was a 5star in terms of meeting our expectations and comfortable mattresses.

Great rental

This is probably the cleanest property we have ever stayed and we have been to Sandestin at least 30 times. The golf cart is great and the location is prime. The only thing missing is a patio. but the pros definitely outweigh the one con. Only other thing I didn’t like was they would not let us in early even though it was clear the property was ready. We have never experienced that before with any other rental. The first day was somewhat of a waste not checking in until 4. I would rent again though.

Annual florida vacation

Because of covid19, we didn't make reservations until about 2 weeks before our trip. We usually stay along 30A but chose to stay in Sandestin for the first time. The condo is located in a beautiful and well maintained neighborhood. A large pool is several blocks away. You can use the golf cart to go to the beach, pools, Publix, restaurants, shopping and Baytowne Wharf. The place was clean. The layout was great for our family of 5. There is a scenic view of Choctawhatchee bay out the back windows. IMO the resort beach area was too small and crowded. So we made short drives to several public beaches on 30A. My only complaint would be there wasn't a balcony or porch. We would stay here again.

Relaxing Get Away

The property was very clean and decorated nicely. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. When you walk in the door there is a set of stairs you have to go up to get to the main part of the home. The door is on the ground floor but the living quarters are on the second floor. There aren't too many steps for it to be much trouble but I do wish I had known about the stairs just due to having to carry my suitcase and other items - I do have a slight orthopedic issue. Inside the unit you cannot hear any traffic noise. There was a football game during my time there and I could hear the younger neighbors celebrating until the wee hours - but I am the only one in my group that heard the celebrating so no one else was bothered. The view from the back window of the unit and from the master bedroom was wonderful - very peaceful. The golf cart was a giant bonus. I was able to park my car and just zip around in the cart over to dinner and to the beach. I will put this unit on my list of places to return to, we had a great time during our short stay. Keena and Russel Rentals were Great to work with!

We had a change in our departure time, we needed a place to stay for one night. Keena bent over backwards to help us with getting a Pak n Play! Communication was top notch and we recommend this place highly. We were wishing we had stayed here the entire week instead of the place we stayed. Night and day difference! Thanks to Keena and Judy! Heron Walk Condo

We had a wonderful stay and our condo was very nice!! It’s a great location, close to a pool, close to shopping and Baytown! The golf cart ride to the ocean is quick and it was a nice golf cart!!
