Welcome to Justus Cottage, a peaceful 2BR/2BA beach retreat in Hidden Dunes Beach & Tennis Resort—perfectly located on the beachside of Sandestin. This first-floor cottage is nestled among beautiful water oaks and lush landscaping, offering a quiet, family-friendly escape just steps from the Gulf.

The dining table seats 6, and the fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar makes meals and snacks a breeze.

The primary suite offers a king size bed, large walk-in closet, separate sitting area, and a spa-like bathroom with soaking tub, shower, and built-in bench. The second bedroom includes two twin beds with easy access to a full hall bath, and is ideal for kids or additional guests.

Step out onto the private screened porch to enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks while taking in the beautiful lush scenery and enjoying the peaceful sounds of fountains and nature.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Strip beds and gather towels. Please place them in/near the washing machine. Do not start the washer.
Turn the thermostat (located in foyer) to "cool" and set at 75 degrees.
Lock the front door and sliding door to the porch.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Bookings are only possible for specific date ranges listed and rates provided under our Rate Page at VRBO/Homeaway site.
Guests must read and accept the Rental Agreement. By booking with Homeaway/VRBO, guests indicate they have read and agreed.

Hi! We’re Lisa and Lauren, a mother-daughter duo from West Georgia and proud Auburn alums who share a love for the beach. The Justus Cottage at Hidden Dunes is such a special place to us, and we’re so glad to share our cottage with you!

Why they chose this property

We’ve always loved the Sandestin area. It’s been part of our family's story for years! Lisa first started vacationing here back in her Auburn days, and later brought her three kids here growing up in the Atlanta area. The white, sugar-sand beaches have always felt like home to us and we truly never want to leave.

Now living in West Georgia, it’s an easy 5½-hour drive to our happy place.

Hidden Dunes was a community we admired for years before owning here. As a family of tennis players (and now pickleball fans too!), it checked every box for us. We fell in love with the peaceful, secluded feel, the beautiful landscaping, and how close everything is: beach, pool, tennis, pickleball, and more.

It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and activity, and we’re so excited to share it with you!

Getting around is easy with the seasonal open-air tram, offering quick access to the resort’s many amenities—including the stunning white, sugar-sand beaches just steps away.
