Everything I expected and more

My wife and I stayed here with our two kids and it was perfect for us. The location was excellent right next to the beach. Sapphire beach I think is one of the best if not the best on St Thomas and this condo offered easy access. Several great restaurants right around the area, and only a couple minute drive to Red Hook. Owner was extremely responsive and helpful on anything we needed. Will definitely stay here again.

Paradise

Great location steps to the Beach. Beautiful local. The rooms were what we expected. We used the kitchenette for dinners and just a short walk to dock for ferry pick up. We enjoyed our time here it is truly a beautiful place. Make sure you bring bug spray for the sand fleas but other than that our trip was flawless!

We are so glad you enjoyed our home and the location! Those pesky critters come out at dusk, but its hard to avoid them when you want to watch the beautiful sunset at the beach. Please come back any time! Thanks again for staying with us.

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. It’s very roomy for a one bedroom. You just walk right out to the beautiful beach. We only had to contact the owner once, but he did reply right away. There is a little beach, bar and Grill and a coffee shop right there which was nice. Next-door there was also a taxi stand so you could easily get around the island.

I don't know what this place is like during other seasons. But because of the sargassum, the beach is essentially rendered unusable. Not necessarily the property's fault. And it's not about being grossed out. It's just that mother nature can sometimes be too strong. There were MOUNTAINS of sargassum piled up along the beach and a small excavator going back and forth trying to clear them. We literally had no way to access the beach even if we didn't mind the Sargassum. The only stretch that was actually cleared was maybe 20 feet long and 6 feet wide: just enough for the excavator to drive through and it was right in front of the restaurant so plenty of traffic and noise and nowhere to relax. The rest of the property and condo were good and as described. But if there is no useable beach, might as well get a condo up in the mountains !

Great condo

This clean and updated condo is in an ideal location on Sapphire Beach. The beach was beautiful with plenty of lounge chairs. We loved the beach bar on site for a casual meal. They have limited hours though. The condo was just right for the 2 of us and had everything we needed. My husband slept on the sofa in the living room one night and said it was very uncomfortable. Plus there are roosters on the property that made lots of noise, mostly from the front of the unit. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would rent this place again !

Great location, Great communication, but..

The location is great, communication with the owner was great. It was the cleanliness of the unit that bothered us. The owner did not want to listen to the constructive criticism, took our honest comments as an insult. Did not want to hurt his feeling, just wanted to show by photos about the condition of the property.

I am so glad you enjoyed the wonderful location of our condo and I am happy to hear that I communicated well with you. I am sorry that the cleaning lady didn't perform to your satisfaction. Not very many people have made her cry based on how they treated her so congrats on that one. I hope you find a place that will perform to your expectations and take "constructive criticism" as you called it better than we did. Take care Jane.

Crystal clear!

The owner communication was very good, check in seemless and easy access to beach and shore restaurant. Only issue was the untimely Sargassum on the beach that wasn’t removed daily. It really hurt the beach use/access. Need to have a better clean up plan. Thanks!

Thanks so much for staying with us. I’m glad I could make your stay as great as possible. Mother Nature is unpredictable and yes it does rain from time to time too but hope you wouldn’t put that on us either lol. Have a safe trip home and we welcome you back anytime!!

Great Value!

We knew we wanted to stay at Sapphire Beach when planning our trip. The location is perfect and Sapphire is the most beautiful beach on St Thomas (in my opinion). There are many rental options, but this one was perfect for me, my husband and our 23 year old daughter. Having 2 full bathrooms was important, and she didn't mind sleeping in the living area. This unit is very spacious and comfortable. Everything was very clean and in great working order. We enjoyed our week!

My wife and I fell in love with the Caribbean while doing a honeymoon cruise. We felt St Thomas was the perfect mix of what we wanted. We dream of retiring here one day and living the dream every day.

Why they chose this property

Our love for the Caribbean is shown in the care and close attention to this condo. We love to stay here when visiting and absolutely love the location of Sapphire Beach.

What makes this property unique

The East side of the island is perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area as well as the airport and cruise terminal. Our beach is one of the most unique as it has great snorkeling and great activities to keep you busy.
