Locally owned and operated, The Two Medicine at Stoner Creek Cabins is one of eight identical modern tiny homes on ten wooded acres. We offer year-round comfort in a tranquil wooded setting. The Two Medicine cabin is hillside with shared views into our forest from the living area and patio.

Stoner Creek Cabins offers clean lines, modern efficiency, and thoughtful amenities. Our contemporary design is completed with Shou Sugi Ban siding, a sustainable preservation technique originating in Japan. The cabin may accommodate up to four people with one queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living space. The open concept kitchen and living area includes floor to ceiling windows with sliding doors that may be opened to experience the woods from the comfort of your couch. The cabin includes everything that you should need to feel at home! The kitchen provides a full-size refrigerator, microwave, oven, dishwasher, and Nespresso coffee machine with all cooking and eating implements. The stacked front-loading washer and dryer includes complimentary laundry pods. Enjoy the outdoor space with a large deck, table and chairs, propane grill, lounge chairs and private fire pit.

This was hands down the best place we stayed in all of Montana. The place was incredibly clean, had a full kitchen, the bedroom was incredibly cozy, it had a nespresso espresso machine. Having your own fire place with a large “backyard” was a big draw, plenty of pre-chopped wood and more logs around the property if needed. It had no TV so it was a great opportunity for me and my girlfriend to disconnect from technology and immerse ourselves in each other fully. 20/10 recommend this place.

We had a great time at this property. The host actually moved us to another cabin to ensure we had proper air conditioning since there was some unseasonable heat in the area. The check in process was seamless. The unit was very clean snd quiet. We saw deer and turkeys outside. A lovely stay if you are in the area.

This is a beautiful cabin in a gorgeous location. We loved the customized decorations. The rose pedals and the champagne were a lovely suprise. We also enjoyed the real fire pit outside and the closeness to all the amenities lakeside offered. We also had three other parties occupying three other cabins who informed us how much they loved the place too.

Perfect honeymoon!

This was the cleanest, most accommodating, and enjoyable place to stay for our honeymoon. We enjoyed watching the deer right outside our deck, playing the many games they had, and the restaurants nearby.

Wonderful accommodations and location

For such a small footprint, the cabin felt spacious and had everything you could need during your stay. So clean and the hosts were great to work with. There’s a wonderful deck and outdoor area with plenty of privacy. I would definitely recommend staying at one of the cabins.

The cabin was so quiet and peaceful. Our favorite part of the trip was the wildlife scenery. Each day from the cabin we watched several deer with their baby doe play in the natural landscape. We also saw several turkeys.

This property is beautiful! We had our dog with us and we had great places to walk him. The hosts provided an amazing welcome basket for both us and our dog. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend for others.

Just What we Needed

We took a weekend trip down to do some biking and adventuring. The location was perfect! Even though it looked like there were people staying at each of the cabins, we did not hear any noise. The cabin was clean and well organized. The hosts left thoughtful touches throughout including for our 4 legged family members. The shower was great! Perfect water pressure (which is much needed after adventuring)! Will definitely keep this in our list for future trips.

We booked this cabin last minute because we had some car trouble and needed to stay in town a couple of extra days after a family wedding. What a pleasant experience! It may be on the small side but it doesn’t feel that way. No expense has been spared with regard to comfort and for thought. Owners are super accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Everything You Need with Excellent Efficiency

The cabins at Stoner Creek are perfectly laid out. Even though there are currently 8 cabins, you would barely know it when enjoying the view from the deck. Helpful Tip: if you’re not going to use the loft, the steps leading up to it make great shelves for your stuff. Beds are comfy. Linens are top quality. We hope to come back next year.

Awesome Modern Cabin in a Beautiful Setting with a Convenient Location

This “cabin” is more like a newly built modern tiny home than a classic cabin. Efficiently designed to make the most of the space, it has very nice amenities throughout, very well organized. The beautiful wooded setting is peaceful and quiet, and yet it is conveniently than a mile to Lakeside and not far from Blacktail Mountain. We stayed there in February, and had wondered if it would be warm enough. No worries, the heating was perfectly adequate. The floor was rather cold, so we were glad we had brought our slippers. The owners provided guest slippers, one-size-fits-all, which we would have used had we had not brought our own. The provided specialty coffee was delicious. The bed is very comfortable, and all the furnishings are especially nice. The large windows in the living room kitchen area provide beautiful views by day with nice curtains when needed. We greatly enjoyed our stay at Stoner Creek cabins and plan to return.

Gorgeous mountain modern

What a lovely private cabin in the snowy woods. I loved the mountain modern aesthetic! Its a very calming vibe as you sit and look out into the snowy woods - makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Yet, town and the lake is a short drive away. It's a perfect location for skiers with the Blacktail nordic trails and downhill ski slopes are a short drive up the hill. The owners were so sweet and left me and my dog some Christmas decor and treats for us both. Very much appreciated! I'll definitely be back.

Couldn't have enjoyed this property more. We use VRBO often, and this was the best place we have ever stayed. Clean, quiet, modern, and pet friendly. We had a wonderful time celebrating our 10th anniversary here and can't wait to stay here again during ski season.

Great accommodation

Home was exactly as pictured . It is super modern and the space was just lovely . The bed was really comfortable and our two 15 year olds loved having their own space in the loft to hang out and listen music . They slept on the sofa in the main room at night . Super modern applicances and amenities. Good location- short distance ( maybe 2miles) into town . Really wished we had more time to stay there longer than one night . Hosts were super accommodating and very responsive. Would highly recommend this listing !
