The house was awesome and in a great location. We visited three of the resorts and getting there and back was a breeze with this house. Wifi worked awesome, super open house, and the living room made it easy to relax after a long day
We enjoyed our stay. We were an easy two mile drive to Breckinridge. Cabin was in the woods and we felt safe and secluded. The drive up to the cabin through the neighborhood could be tricky because it is a steep incline. We saw cars slide off into snow banks. Also, the deck was buried in snow making the grill obsolete. Otherwise, the place was clean, spacious, and exactly what we hoped for. Only thing that would make it perfect would be a hot tub! 😁
Great experience overall and we very much enjoyed our stay. Chelsea was super accommodating and let us check-in early. The house itself was well appointed, and we especially loved the kitchen where we made several meals. House is situated just outside of Breck, making for an easy drive to/from the hill. Extra points for having Grandma's Boy on DVD. Would definitely recommend!
This cabin was perfect for our annual family ski trip! The 3 level home gave us just the right amount room and privacy to spread out. We loved congregating around the large kitchen island. Plenty of parking for large suvs without having to block cars in so that was great. We loved the location south of Breck—less traffic congestion, so it was a breeze driving to the downtown Main Street area. Only downside was no hot tub. The host was very responsive.

NO HEAT/NO HOT WATER FOR 40+ HOURS
We stayed at this property when outside temperatures were in the single digits. The owner didn’t have propane delivered and thus, we spent two days without hot water or heat. It was extremely cold in the house and the owner never offered to bring heaters or alternative heat sources. She blames the gas company for not delivering the propane in time. She offered us a “free night’s stay,” knowing that we were freezing without heat or hot water. We had to go through Vrbo to arrange alternative housing because it was so cold in the house. Due to this issue happening within 2 nights of staying at the property, it ruined our plans and overall experience of our trip. We had to cancel plans to spend hours on the phone to come to a remediation and to find alternative housing. We’re now going through Vrbo to serve as an intermediary and make things right since the owner isn’t responsive.
STAY AWAY! We understand that things can happen (loss of power, etc.), but the way things were handled by the owner was unacceptable. Vrbo also agrees and we’re both actively pursuing this case. Owner also markets the property as a 6+ person property but charged us an additional $250 for having a fifth person stay at the property. They have three bedrooms and five beds, but charges extra for groups larger than 4.
Make sure to check your hidden fees from the owner when booking as well.
Overall a very enjoyable stay for a long ski weekend
We stayed here for a ski weekend in January 2022. Property is a short distance (3-4 miles) from downtown Breckenridge. You definitely need 4WD to get to property in winter (roads in neighborhood are not treated). The house was clean and comfortable. The reason I gave it 4 stars is one of the beds was very uncomfortable and overall the house has an odd layout. Two bedrooms are in the basement and the master is upstairs and the main level has a huge kitchen, a dining room, and a really small “family room / tv area”. We only had 5 in our group and we had to bring in extra dining chairs to sit 5 together in the tv area (NFL wildcard weekend). Not really conducive to sitting and relaxing after skiing. Also, the house has good WiFi, but no cable or anything to watch TV. The TV is a smart TV so we had to login with our streaming services to watch anything, but it would have been easier if they had cable. Overall, though, we came to ski and relax and we accomplished those items. It was a very nice place to stay.
Loved the house and location, it was exactly what we were looking for... privacy but not far from the action of downtown! The kitchen was amazing and we played lots of games seated around the kitchen!
Wonderful home just a few minutes from downtown Breckenridge. Amazing kitchen and deck in a secluded location to really enjoy your stay in the mountains. Host was extremely helpful and responsive with all questions we had. Would definitely go back!
