Beautiful Lake House within an hour’s drive of the Twin Cities

This peaceful lake home is located only 1 hour out of the Twin Cities! Situated on west side of Little Elk Lake (near Zimmerman, MN) and sits on a 1 acre wooded property with a breathtaking, southeast facing, view of the lake front perfect for spectacular sunrises. A dock for you to fish from and secure your boat or perhaps jet skis.

Recently, the house was beautifully updated with a stunning kitchen to include a wine cooler. Outfitted with new furniture. It’s just simply stated, a perfect place to relax with family and friends, enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning on the patio or perhaps enjoy a glass of wine in the evening as the sun sets. Sleeps up to 16 guests. 1-King bed, 2-Queen beds, 1-Full futon sofa. 4- pull out queen sleeper sofas, and 1- pull out twin sleeper sofa. To top it off, It’s expansive 21’x30’ loft outfitted with a wet bar and under-counter refrigerator is a great place for kids and grandkids to get away and spend time as the adults relax on the lake front.

This year-around conveniently located lake get-away is an amazing way to spend time on a lake in the summer fishing and boating, enjoying spectacular fall colors, and in the winter ice fishing and snowmobiling. Extremely convenient access to the boat launch area in the summer and the Minnesota snowmobile trail system in the winter.

The house is gorgeous. We felt like we had everything we needed to be at home. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. We didn't have a chance to use the water equipment due to weather but, the fire pit is lovely and the entertainment room is cozy for movie night!

This cabin was amazing. From booking, checking in, staying and checking out was very easy. The house was amazing. The big room with the “movie theater”, as the kids put it, was a hit. What a wonderful property for an extended stay with family. To easy check-in the property had things for all ages. Kitchen great size for several to be in at once. Nice space on main level to lounge and see the lake. The upstairs theater was a plus for family movie night. Enjoyed lake swimming, trampoline and the shallow water for littles. Fishing was good. We can’t wait to return next year!

Leadership Retreat

We enjoy the simple pleasures of life and are happy to share our lake house with you. From an earlier time, when life was simpler and classic like our 1956 Thunderbird, we hope you enjoy the lake as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We have been in search of a lake house property as we so thoroughly enjoy the lake life. Both of us grew up with a lake cabin, its those memories that have motivated us to find this place.

What makes this property unique

As a kid, I remember getting stuck inside the cabin when it rained the entire weekend. When I saw the large loft with a theater, I was immediately envious as I understood that if kids encountered the same rainy weekend, they could still enjoy the cabin and its fabulous game room.
