So disappointing
We arrived late and were met by Caroline the property manager. Caroline was very nice but when we toured the house we realized that there were only 2 bathrooms with toilets instead of the 4 bathrooms that were listed. With a party of 11 people 2 toilets were definitely going to be challenging. We also noticed that there was no toilet paper and Caroline said that all of the markets were closed but we could follow her home and she would give us some rolls (she lived 20 minutes away). We were all so tired from a long day of travel so opted to figure it out until morning. As we got ready for bed, we realized there were not enough quilts for the beds. Also, 2 of the quilts and sheets were filthy dirty. The next morning I contacted Caroline about the bedding and she said that she would talk to the owner and get back to us. I never heard anything back so the following day, we purchased 4 new quilts and washed the sheets. The house had no basic amenities like salt and pepper, trash bags, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent. The dishware was put back in the cupboard dirty. The house itself was nice and the view from the terrace up top was incredible. When we checked out, we deducted the cost of the quilts from our 300 Euro cleaning fee. Caroline informed us that the owner would not agree to cover that cost. The owner decided that it was our decision to purchase the quilts even though they acknowledged that the bedding was dirty because they didn't have time to clean it after the previous guests. Caroline did her best to manage the situation and said that she would cut the cleaning cost in half. The entire experience was so unfortunate. It is a nice house (even though I don't think 12 people will do well with only 2 toilets) but the lack of attention to details and cleanliness is inexcusable.
