Great place to stay

We enjoyed staying in Alisa’s place for our annual sisters’ trip. It was cozy and clean, and an easy drive to all of the Door County stops. We loved visiting the lighthouses in the area, eating breakfast each morning at Door County Coffee, and driving around to various shops and restaurants. Very fun week!

Great Vacation

The property was beautiful, property manager very helpful with check in process, property had all the necessities in kitchen and bathroom. The best was the location. It was overlooking Stugeon Bay on a quiet street but close to highways that took us to the towns in Door County and nature/historic sites that we wanted to visit. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

A friend & I stayed at Eagle View Suite as we explored Door county during the day. It was a fantastic place to relax after a busy day. We could take walks, sit & watch the water or work on a jigsaw puzzle that was available. All of the furnishings & beds were very comfortable! What A Sunrise!

Our annual trip to celebrate our anniversary and it was fantastic! Very clean, very pleasant place to stay. Alisa is an excellent host. Since this is an ‘off season’ stay, we didn’t get to use the water front patio but, we sure would have if we could. Beautiful sunrises and an excellent view of the shipyard. With the winter fleet still in, the lights at night are excellent.

The perfect location in Sturgeon Bay for us

Alisa provides her guests a wonderful spot for either launching into activities in Door County, or for relaxing. The apartment is located on the water and restaurants, bars, and shops in Sturgeon Bay are easily accessible via a walk or a drive. Nearby is a clean public beach and a great place to take pictures. Alisa is a wonderful host, and I cannot speak highly enough about why her apartment was in the perfect spot for our family.

A pleasant getaway

We enjoyed the apartment. It was pleasantly furnished and the sleeping was comfortable. We walked to some enjoyable eateries with great food and good drink. Wonderful July 4th Friend Trip

Great place just as described! Wonderful view, had everything we needed. Even coffee there from a local shop which not all places do. Our host was kind, responsive. Provided tips for restaurants. She and her friends went out with us to kayak! That was so fun and appreciated. Hope to come back again!

Lovely waterfront property. It is well stocked, clean, and nicely decorated. We were in Door County for fall biking. Excellent location for riding directly from the home. We were able to store bikes on the covered, secured deck and enjoy cocktails there after the ride with a beautiful lake view. The stairs into the apartment are steep and narrow as is noted in the listing. It was no problem for us but, any mobility issues would be difficult. Alisa displays her beautiful artwork throughout. We would definitely stay again!

Sehr schönes Apartment in toller Lage

Wir wurden von Alisa sehr nett empfangen und sie hatte uns ganz viele Tipps gegeben, was wir alles in Door County unternehmen können. In Apartment fehlte es an nichts. Die Küche ganz toll eingerichtet, von Alufolie bis über Kaffeepulver und Spülmittel war alles da. Im Bad waren genügend Handtücher und sogar Duschgel war vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen. Herzliche Grüße aus Deutschland Petra und Holger

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy apartment. The views over the bay were gorgeous and we enjoyed a cup of coffee in the morning while looking over the water and taking in the wildlife and landmarks of Sturgeon Bay. The location was perfect. This vrbo is in a quiet residential neighborhood but just minutes from shops and restaurants. Such a comfy space.! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied with all we needed. Alisa is a wonderful host and provided everything we needed to be comfortable. Highly recommend!!

A great stay

We had a wonderful stay at Eagles Nest. It had a wonderful view from the “quiet side” of Sturgeon Bay” of the city and port. Super clean w wood floors, modern kitchen w nice appliances and furnishes, comfy beds and a great & quiet HVAC system. You’ll find your hostess really is a Super Host! We look forward to being back next year.

Darling well appointed home!

The only down side of this darling property was it wasn’t very sound proof. I would not bring children because we stayed in the upper unit and we could hear the people downstairs and I know they could hear us even though I felt we weren’t loud.

Cute, bright, clean apartment right on the harbor.

Clean, bright, private apartment with nice touches for working on-site. Modern amenities in what seems to be a historic building. It's also near a park and a small family beach. Up to the second floor, steps might be steep for some visitors. Might feel small for four adults but our three had room enough.

Beautiful property and a great host!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Eagle’s View Suite. Although the pictures of the space are accurate, they do not fully capture the beautiful view of the bay and the cozy interior of the unit. Alisa was a great host. She was responsive, attentive, and friendly. She had everything laid out nicely and she did a great job of anticipating our needs and desires. She gave us recommendations on things to do during our stay and also provided over 60 brochures and events booklets in the suite which we found very helpful as we mapped out our itinerary.

Lovely place to watch the sunrise.

My wife and I did a workation and had a lovely time at the apartment. There are very responsive to the only issue I had during this day and they're very pleasant to deal with. The issue was that I accidentally broke the toaster and it wasn't an issue with them. It has nice wood floors that creek when you walk on them it's got a very cozy feel to it. The Wi-Fi worked fine for two people to work remote. Waking up having my coffee watching the sunrise over the water Bridges I miss it already.

My knowledge of local hangouts and hotspots is based on my experience as both a tourist and a transplant, now a full-time resident of Sturgeon Bay.

Why they chose this property

Before I moved here in 2015, I traveled here several times a year, knowing that someday, I would retire here. There are endless options for experiencing nature, food and entertainment. Sturgeon Bay is full of fun, year-round. I appreciate the beautiful view everyday, whether the sun is shining, watching storms roll in or experiencing the frozen bay with ice hiking and fat tire biking. In the summer, you can rent Stand-up-paddle-boards, kayaks and bikes just up the street at Bayshore Outfitters.

What makes this property unique

I love Door County, and want you to love it too. If you want information on where to eat and things to do, there are two pages on Facebook that I manage that may be of interest to you: I am the Door County Foodie. "Door County Foodie" posts lots of my favorite Sturgeon Bay Restaurants as well as other favorites on the Door Peninsula. Another FB page, "Lily Pad Cottage & Eagle View Suite" lists events and activities that may be happening during your stay. I like to make sure that my guests have a wonderful experience.
