Built in 1905 in the heart of Morehead City, NC, this turn-of-the century 3-bedroom, 3-bath house with double porches (upstairs and downstairs) features water views from the 2nd floor and opportunities to catch a breeze off Bogue Sound. Conveniently located across the street from First United Methodist Church, this house sleeps 6 guests and is ideal for wedding and fishing parties. House features 1 king bed in downstairs Master, 1 queen and 2 twin beds upstairs. Downstairs Master bath features a rain shower and jacuzzi tub. Additional downstairs bath is newly installed and features a stall shower and is off family room. A full eat-in kitchen is perfect for family meals. Laundry room features washer and dryer & additional storage. The fenced-in backyard creates a private courtyard and is perfect for grilling out with a brand new gas grill! The back deck features a dining table for 4 for outside dining on warm summer evenings. On cool evenings enjoy spending time around the fire pit. A short walk to restaurants such as Promise Land Market (less than 1 block), Full Circle (3 blocks) and shopping. The house is also a 3-block walk to kayak launch at Conch Point. Our house is ideal for a coastal getaway with friends or family. Public beach access is a short walk (2 blocks) at Bogue Sound and also available at Atlantic Beach, a 10 minute drive away.
Additional amenities include WiFi and 2 Smart TVs, 4 bicycles, beach chairs and new Montana gas grill. An outdoor shower is perfect for kids coming home from the beach. A fire pit is available onsite, and guests are welcome to use beach chairs, toys and the aluminum canoe, also located in the garage.

Very clean and well appointed home, exceeded our expectations. Location was great, easy access to restaurants (some walkable), shopping, and the wedding we attended in Indian Beach. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the front porch! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Our second time staying here. Another enjoyable trip. Very well located historical home with some upgrades. Comfortable inside. Wonderful morning shaded two story porches. Bring your books. Private courtyard in the back. The owner maintains the southern coastal charm with the landscaping. The house is well equipped inside and out. 4 bikes are in the garage. Easy walk to downtown-less than 10 minutes. Country gift store around the corner. Breakfast diner and wine/beer bar across the street.

Overall lovely home near everything

Older home with plenty of charm and very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful back yard, porch and front porch to relax and enjoy. Furniture and layout of home was all very comfortable. The only reason I did not give it a five was due to a couple of areas needing improvement such as one ceiling spot in need of patching and repair. Owner was very responsive!

Win - win! The house was perfect for us. Being just blocks from the waterfront made for a beautiful breeze whenever using the outdoor seating. I am slightly handicapped and the master bath provided just what I needed. Nice kitchen and plenty of seating for all who are staying. 2 thumbs up. I will return.

Comfortable house within 5 min walking distance to restaurants and historic downtown. Historic home with some renovations. Lots of porch space. The courtyard in the back of the house is a wonderful retreat. The bikes provided made for an enjoyable family activity. A great stay.

We had a wonderful time with our son and the other family that shared the house with us. House has areas for people to spread out into and do different things. Beds are very comfortable and the backyard is great for grilling out. The town is just a few steps around the corner. Highly recommend. Owner easy to communicate with.
