Great location
The house was well worn but functional. The master bed was very uncomfortable.

Hey Bill, thank you for staying. the memory foam beds aren’t for everyone but most people really like them. They are definitely not super firm.
This is an older property that has been well maintained. It is close to neighborhood shops and downtown Portland. The owners have always been very responsive to any requests. We will be returning next year for a stay.
This was our second year to stay at this property. It is convenient to family and the city. Nick was very responsive to help with cooling issues on some unseasonably hot summer days. We will be back again next year.
My husband and I stayed at Nick's house in Multnomah Village for 6 weeks. It's a comfortable house, situated within walking distance to the Village. Nick is a super-responsive host which was much appreciated. The house has all the basics to make a long stay very nice. Thanks, Nick!

Thanks for staying. Glad you enjoyed Multnomah Village…
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Nicks property. The yard was quiet and serene Great for when our Grandson visited or spent the night. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood or heading a few blocks away for some yummy food. The kitchen was well equipped for providing our children meals after the birth of our second Grandson. Nick was very responsive and easy to communicate with.
Minutes away from downtown, shopping, zoo, arboretum, etc.; yet comfortably isolated from all the hubbub. Kids loved the nice yard and close-by parks. The village area is quiet, quaint, and a 5 minute walk from the house. Super convenient location for quickly getting around the Portland area.
The house is surprisingly spacious for the size and well-appointed. Everyone loved the outside area. The owner is very responsive to client needs. All our expectations were met, and then some.
My youngest asked when we were coming back to “our new house”, as we were leaving. I’m sure this house gets a pin on our map for future vacation stays.
Thanks Nick!

Thank you Michael, you and the kids are welcome to come back to your “new house” anytime!
Best,

I am a local Portlander who needed a place to call home in between selling my home and moving in to a new one. I enjoyed living in a new part of town for a few weeks! This home is clean and comfortable with plenty of space. There were three adults living and working from home and we made it work just fine. Multnomah Village is a fun area ot explore and we loved the proximity to Gabriel Park for running and walking the dogs!
The home is in walking distance to a lovely village with a little bit of everything you could want - restaurants, toy store, ice cream, bookstore, shops. We found the layout of the home to be super convenient - cozy couches in the main area that’s open to the kitchen; table that could seat 6; kitchen counter looked out into living area. We enjoyed our monthlong stay and would stay here again!
House is very close to downtown Portland but in a small community setting. Family room is large, bright and cheery. Small outdoor patio off the kitchen perfect for dining out. We have booked again for next summer.
This place was great for our family of four! We enjoyed the open concept and the private and quaint backyard patio. The owners were super responsive to any questions we had e.g. the garbage and recycling schedules. It's a short walk to the Village and French Quarter. Our favorites in the Village were NeCtar and tastebud. At the French Quarter, we enjoyed Blue Bird Thai, Gypsy PDX, and Yoshi's. With COVID, you'll need to check websites for hours. Down the road, the place will need some TLC, yet our family definitely enjoyed our time there.
You can easily walk into Multnomah Village with its many fine cafes. The kitchen and bathrooms are well-equipped for a comfortable longer stay. We were there about 7 weeks. Nick and his wife were very responsive when we had problems or questions. For example, the listing indicated cable TV service and when we checked in it turned out the service had been discontinued. Nick immediately responded by ordering a Hulu app which solved the problem to our satisfaction.
One day soon, the house is going to need some updating as it’s beginning to show some wear and tear. But overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this location as a SW Portland location.
My husband and I stayed for a month and enjoyed our stay! This house is everythng we were looking for and more, very comfortable and outdoor patio was beautIful! The owners were very responsive, professional and helpful! We recommend staying here-you won’t be disappointed!
Lovely home in nice location. Open common space (kitchen, dining, and living room combo) with many amenities, ideal for family gathering. Two modern luxury bathrooms, including en suite master bath. Master bed especially comfortable! Host was very accommodating.
We found out that this location had just about every thing within mins we wanted to see and do. From a German restaurant down the street, Trader Joes, FM. We were content. We got on "5" in any direction and we were headed out where we wanted to go and see. The bedrooms across with separated baths were good for us also. The kitchen seemed to have everything we needed at each given moment.
My husband mentioned for us, to remember this for next year. We like to come for a long week end to Oregon yearly.
It is a great location and all was just as advertised.

About the host
Hosted by Nick B
About Nick:
I grew up on the coast of Oregon and have lived in Portland for the last 20+ years. Currently live 6 minutes from the house which makes it easy to come by for check-in and out if you'd like.
Why I chose Multnomah Village:
I bought this house because of the location. Multnomah Village is over 100 years old and is a true old school neighborhood with quirky, eclectic shopping, great restaurants, and fun local pubs less than a minute walk away plus only $13 Uber or 5 minute drive to downtown Portland (or 8 minutes to the East side of Portland's great restaurant scene).
What makes this House unique:
Great room plan with vaulted ceilings and skylights, makes it feel very spacious and bright. Private backyard with BBQ and covered patio. Located around classic Portland style homes and modeled after them, giving it old-world charm but modern and updated amenities (Vaulted ceiling, gas stove & heat, air-conditioning, walk-in closet, etc) and being truly IN Multnomah Village, this house is all about the location.
