The property was very comfortable for our 2 families. We also had 2 other families (staying at a property 4 houses down) that we hosted for dinners most nights. Plenty of pots and pans and so nice to have space!
We had a blast in Incline Village. The property is close to town, the lake, Raleys, everything you need. Property was nice, clean, and the two decks offered a lot of outdoor space. Would book again! Thanks Rachel!
Love the amenities that were included like top notch mattresses and bedding in every bedroom, upscale decor and amazing large hot tub with all the bells and whistles . Beautiful quiet neighborhood with the majority of homes being upscale or very well tended . Close to town with good restaurants like Lone Eagle and Mofo Pizza.
It’s an older home but updated nicely with modern conveniences —good lighting and very comfortable . Really enjoyed our stay

Thank you Darlene, We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay, we hope to have you back soon!
We enjoyed staying at this property with our daughter and granddaughters. The house is homey and has everything you need. They had games, books, a very well-stocked kitchen, lots of towels, etc. the hot tub was a plus. Multiple decks outside with lots of seating and a nice bbq we’re all appreciated. The beds were comfy too and had nice linens. It took 2 days for someone to return our call when we had a question which was not great. It is a 2 story house and the stairs do not have a handrail which is problematic. We stayed 5 nights and had a fun time.
Great house. Very well equipped. Great location. Communication amazing and responsive. Loved it.

Overall, I would say the property is okay and its online description is relatively accurate. That being said, our stay was certainly less than ideal.
The Property:
- Beds were all comfortable and was laid out nicely for our family of four + my sister and mom who joined us as well.
- Great to have three full bathrooms, however the two upstairs are in need of updating (tub is cracked and other showerhead drips incessantly).
- Decks were great spaces - but are also in need of attention - while not a safety concern, they creak more than any deck I've been on.
- Hot tub is great, but... (more on that later)
Neighborhood:
- On the surface, really nice area with winding roads and beautiful homes all around.
- HOWEVER, on our second night in the home we enjoyed the hot tub until ~10:30 pm. This rowdy bunch of middle agers not drinking, plus my 13 year old apparently broke the after 10 pm 60 decibel noise ordinance. Listen, I was in my twenties once and have enjoyed my evenings before - but we were simply talking. Zero partying. Zero alcohol. This caused a neighbor to call the county and file a formal complaint. Seriously? For that reason alone I'd never say in this area again.
Owner / Communications:
- Overall, I think the owners were okay.
- I'm sure it's a challenge keeping locals and short term renters on good terms in the area. I get it. But I was informed about the noise / nuisance complaint via VRBO messenger by what seemed to be a form letter with strong language - namely "As mentioned in the welcome letter, if there is a complaint it may result in a fee or early termination." - I take this type of thing seriously and it really impacted the rest of our stay.
- That being said, the owner was responsive when I called to discuss - and tried to reassure me that 'early termination' wasn't on the table. It was still difficult to shake that feeling off while trying to enjoy the start of our vacation.
- Also, the owner told us after we checked in that there was a delivery of a shed coming during our stay. This wasn't exactly true - a shed was delivered - in parts - and built for several hours, and all the noise that accompanies building a building. This made one of our mornings in tranquil Tahoe, well, not tranquil. Wish they could have had it delivered on a different day - maybe the day we were checking out?
In sum :
- I do not recommend this neighborhood.
- House and owners were okay, but not good or great.
The pictures were accurately describing the property, with exception of the electric range. The range is newer, and everything that you could possibly need is available. The home was everything we'd want in a mountain home - clean, comfortable, bright, and quiet! We stayed following a large snow fall, but the driveways and walkways were cleared enough to use. I really appreciated the owners for leaving enough shovels to help clear extra ice/snow for safer walkways. I'm looking forward to staying there again!
This home is so comfortable, clean and picturesque. Beautiful views from every window. The floor plan was perfect for our large family group. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable. Very enjoyable stay!
Great home. We had a few issues that the property management responded to immediately. House was better than conveyed in pictures. Great hot tub. Would stay again.
We loved this cabin!! My hubby and i rented the cabin for us and our 8 kids. It was clean and beautiful inside and we felt so comfortable! The beds were amazing!! The bunk room was great for all the boys…The living space was open and spacious..plenty of spots to visit, relax, play games… Bathrooms were nice and clean and updated…kids loved the hot tub! The host is very thoughtful with extra bedding, blankets, extra towels, towels for the hot tub, paper goods throughout the house!
We were there during the fires but the trip ended up being amazing we all loved the cabin and we hope to rent this cabin again next year!!
Our group of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, modern and very clean Incline Village Home. Having a bedroom on the first floor was ideal for my 81 year old mother who has difficulty with stairs. I wish we could have stayed longer and I will definitely look for this property in the future, as we enjoy staying in Incline every summer.
The house was a great place to rent. It was spacious and unique. The owners were great to work with. It was above average hot the week we were there and the only problem was they didn’t have any fans and there was only one ceiling fan. The house remained really hot even with the windows opened. We just hope they replace the bbq for our next visit.
Nice property. Fit our group perfectly. Every family had their own bathroom. Heater was broken on arrival, owners were very helpful in getting it quickly fixed.
We really enjoyed our stay here in Incline Village. The house was a perfect size for a group of 5 people. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the deck space. Location was great and close to the water and restaurants. The upstairs bedrooms can get a little stuffy during hot weather, but other than that it was a great place!

If I could give this property 3.5 stars I would. The property itself was great. Plenty of room for all 8 of us to spread out. The deck areas were very nice. Some more screens on the windows would have been nice. The upstairs got pretty stuffy and without screens, the bugs would have made a meal of us. The part we had a difficult time with was housekeeping. We arrived late (around 7:00) and the housekeepers just got there. We didn't get into the house until after 8. We told them to take their time because we would rather have the place thoroughly cleaned than have a rushed job. There were a few other problems with housekeeping but I don't want to harp. A little more communication from our host would have been nice. I am not use to staying at a house that doesn't give detailed instructions about check in and check out procedures. It was both sort of nice because it was so relaxed but confusing at the same time. Also, the hot tub could use a good cleaning.
The property is located in a clean and peaceful neighborhood. The home has 4 good size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was functional and the deck was large. The living room was comfortable and had a large TV. There is a charcoal grill for grilling. It is close to parks, beaches and trails. The owner was responsive with questions. I would stay here again.
Overall our stay was wonderful, the house was spacious and decorated so cute and modern. Beware if you are a light sleeper the main level bedroom does hear sounds from upstairs. Quiet neighborhood with peek a boo views of the lake from the hot tub and deck. Speaking of which, that hot tub is amazing! Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Whatever we needed was provided quickly and hassle free. Can't think of anything we needed that wasn't provided to us.
Loved literally everything about our experience here! House is gorgeous, much better than on the pictures! New hot tub! Loved the place. Definitely recommend and would love to come back!
We had a pleasant 3 night stay at Rachel's cabin. Great communication and quick responses. New stovetop in kitchen and multiple fridges. Huge patio as described. Also plenty of seatings in the living and family rooms. Cell phone signals can be weak but there is strong wifi in the house.

Nice area
Good communication with the owner! Bethrooms were very nice.
The neighbors down the street were not welcoming. Bathrooms were okay not very clean the kitchen is the only thing we did not enjoy. The stove and oven were really old and dirty. Everything else was nice and we had a good time.

Our family of 6 enjoys weekend get aways and spending time together being active. Tahoe has endless outdoor fun and activities for all ages. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
Owning a home in Incline Village has been a "bucket list" goal for our family for years. We vacation to North Tahoe every winter to ski the amazing resorts and are so thankful to now own a home that we can share with other travelers.
What makes this property unique
We wanted a home that had 4 bedrooms and lots of space to entertain and play. We also wanted a home that was family friendly and reasonably priced for a vacation destination. We hope our home fits your space and budget wish list as it did ours.
